"You're here again," Fire stated as she sipped on tea to keep her warm.

Ice looked around before focusing her gaze on the picture of Fire on the other side of the room.

"This again? I was about to take a shower! I smell like burnt stuff and ash. I hate it."

"Oh, you'll get used to it. And you act like I control this. I was just sitting, enjoying my tea and boom! You showed up."

Ice groaned.

"Is there a way of cutting this short?"

"No idea." Fire glanced at Ice before chuckling. "You take a rubber ducky with you to shower?"

The queen of the Ice Kingdom looked down at the rubber duck and threw it away.

"No," she lied. "What are you on about? What rubber ducky? What even is a rubber ducky?"

"You amused me."

"Uh... Thanks?"

"You're welcome."

Silence engulfed them for another moment before Ice sighed.

"There must be a reason why all of this is happening... Maybe Nat has something to do with it."

"Nat definitely has something to do with it. No doubt. My question is why. We isolated our lands for a reason. That was what Dria was meant to be. Why is she making us connect again?"

"Dria is ending. Could that be it?"

"Maybe it has something to do with the next generation. What if the next generation is patching up Dria?"

"Patching up?"

"Connecting us again."

"That would explain why I'm melting and you're freezing."

"You're right... That means... If Lynn and Rose meet, it's the end of Dria?" Fire questioned.

"Most likely. We need to delay it."

"We must. They aren't ready for such a commitment... Gosh, I feel so cold. I've never felt this cold! I feel like I'm on the verge of dying."

"Is it a Flame thing to feel like a part of you has gone missing?"

Fire glared at Ice.

"How insulting! No, it's not. Is it an Icicle thing to be so ignorant?"

It was Ice's turn to glare.

"Excuse you! We are not ignorant. How dare you!" Ice calmed herself down. "I was just saying it because things have been hotter today and I was thinking if something is hotter and I suddenly feel empty, maybe it has something to do with being warm."

"What do you mean by hotter?"

"Generally, the whole Ice Kingdom is strangely hot. We reached a peak of -50°C. I've never been so hot in my life! I feel like an ice cream left on the sun!"

"Really? It's still as hot as ever over here. Maybe to end Dria, the Ice Kingdom has to fall first."

"Hope not. How embarrassing would that be."

"Very."

Right at that moment, Dusk burst into the room in full speed, crashing into a wall and falling to the ground before finally landing his eyes on Fire. She looked shocked at first but soon her gaze softened. Ice, on the other hand, was terrified.

"Knocking helps," Fire joked. "Enjoyed your run? Found a squirrel? Bone? Squishy toy?"

"For the late time, Fire. I'm a tiger, not a dog. Please don't insult me. All I've ever done is serve you," Dusk responded as he regained his balance.

"Well, what is it then? You come crashing into my room and refuse to catch on to my joke. This better be serious. I was chatting over here."

Dusk turned around the room, scanning every corner before turning to Fire.

"To the walls?"

"No, you lion. To Ice!"

Dusk cocked an eyebrow.

"Do you need more coats? Or lava? That could be arranged. I think you're hallucinating."

"No, I'm not! Ice, say hi."

"Hi, Dusk," Ice followed her command. "It's been a while. Still have that crush on Snow?"

"Oh gosh," Dusk uttered. "I'm hearing things. I'm hallucinating! It's contagious! I don't want to get cold! Oh what did I do to deserve such a painful punishment?"

"Stop overreacting," Fire rolled her eyes. "Now tell me why you're here."

"Oh right. There's something you might want to see."

"Is it outside the palace?"

"Yes."

"Well, I can't go out like this, now can I?"

She was right. Fire was slowly but surely losing everything that mad ever Fire and turning into Ice.

"Oh right. I'll just tell you then."

"Well make it snappy."

"I found three Icicles in Rose and Sage's dorm. Two hopelessly melting, one still upright but clearly too hot."

"What?" Fire's smile dropped and although Dusk couldn't see her, Ice looked like she had just seen a ghost.

"How did they look?" Ice asked.

"They all had white hair, pale blue eyes and pale skin."

"Thanks for that, Dusk. You just described every single Icicle."

"If it helps, there was one girl, the one that wasn't really melting, and two boys."

"Oh gosh," Ice held her head before calling for Snow on her end.

Although Dusk couldn't see the Ice tiger nor could she see him, he still blushed.

"Snow, did you see Lynn, BamBam and Chan today?" Ice asked.

"No. And there was no trouble caused by BamBam, odd I know. The security are looking for them. They have been for over ten hours now."

"Oh no," Ice hang her head in her hands. "Oh no. That's why I felt empty. That's why the Ice Kingdom is heating up!"

"What's the reason?" Snow asked innocently.

"Lynn. She's gone. She's in the Fire Kingdom."
