"I accuse Duskwatcher!" Amberpoppy yowled.

The Clan turned to stare at the cat in question in shock, who began looking around in confusion.

"You believe this? I was exhausted from the patrol in the morning, I never left camp a second time!" he defended.

Frostwhisker shook his head. "Leave my mate alone, he would never do such an awful thing!" the tom wailed. Duskwatcher moved to Frostwhisker's side in comfort, as the two stared up into Amberpoppy's suspicious gaze.

"Well? What do you think HailClan? Is Duskwatcher innocent or guilty?"

Evidence for his innocence:

- Duskwatcher had already been on the dawn hunting patrol, while the killer seems to want the clan to starve

- Not much motive, he's friends with most of the cats in the Clan

- His bright ginger fur would be quite easy to spot in the mist, while Blizzardshade could not work out what the cat looked like

Evidence for his guilt:

- He's very intelligent and cunning, if he wanted to pull off such a scheme he would be able to

- Stormstar dislikes him, that could provoke him into wanting revenge
