Frost sat at the edge of the barn staring at the sky

 Hazel came up next to her "They're not here." she mewed 

 "It's moonhigh though!" Frost cried

 Berry looked up at her from where she was laying "It's okay. they're probably catching extra for Winter thats all!" She sounded optimistic, a little too optimistic

 "Come on it's time to sleep." Winter called to them "They'll be back when you wake up."

Frost sighed settling down next to her aunt. She listened to the sounds of the crickets and owls before falling into a deep sleep.

When she woke up she saw Winter dragging something into the barn, and that something had white fur

 "Snowy!" She cried burrying her muzzle into his cold fur "Wake up please!!" 

Hazel and Berry came in next with Leaf 

 Frost stared in shock 

 "That looks like cat bite marks!" She exclaimed

 "They were on the moor." Winter said numbly

 "The MoorClan cats!" Frost unsheathed her claws

 "I know that face! Please Frost!" Hazel said anxiously "Don't go after them!"

Frost padded out the barn door, lashing her tail angrily

She got to the white fence when a shape barreled into her

 "Ahhhh!" She shrieked as claws and teeth ripped her pelt 

She pummeled the dogs under-belly with her hind legs but it was no use. Black edged her vision and she felt faint.

 "Help!" She whimpered 

She faintly heard a screech and was hoisted up into the air before blacking out.
