INTRODUCTION

The giant stone walls of Frostbitten Prison loomed in the night sky like a tombstone, casting a dark shadow on the forest below the mountain it sat on.

The prison had been built for one purpose: to hold the most powerful and dangerous of supernatural creatures, the werewolves and vampires who had long since been banished from the land.

Sentenced to a life of confinement within the walls of Frostbitten, they were to be watched and guarded day and night.

Intimidating guards, armed with crossbows, kept watch over the prisoners, their eyes never leaving them for a single moment. No one knew what lurked in those walls, but every prisoner had heard the rumors of the unknown horrors that might await them, should they ever dare to escape.

Rumors of cursed spells, dark enchantments, and unknown creatures circulated amongst the prisoners. Those brave enough to venture near the prison walls would tell tales of screams echoing from within, while others told of gargoyles perched atop the highest towers, ready to swoop down on any foolish enough to attempt an escape.

Though all the prisoners felt a deep sense of fear, none wanted to admit it. They had to stand together and survive in this place, where even the bravest of souls could succumb to the fear of the unknown.

In the dull light of day, the prison was a sight to behold. Its stone walls were grey and cold, yet seemed to have a strange, eerie glow about them, like they were carved from the dark depths of the night. There was a mysterious aura about them, as if something hidden was trying to escape, only to be spoiled again and again by the watchful eyes of the guards.

At night, the prison seemed to take on a life of its own. No creature stirred and all was silent, save for the occasional howling of a wolf, or the distant cries of a vampire. The prisoners huddled together, seeking comfort in one another, while the guards silently watched, their eyes never leaving the prisoners for a second.

Though the prison was meant to be a place of punishment, it had become a site of mystery and wonderment. Though fearful of what it might hold, the prisoners were in awe of the prison's beauty and secrets, for none could deny the power of the dark magic that seemed to pulse through its walls.

Word had spread of the danger within Frostbitten. The only ones who ever stepped foot inside Frostbitten were the prisoners and guards, and it seemed that they could never escape its confines, however much they tried.

For years, Frostbitten Prison held its secrets, and it seemed that they would never be revealed. But one day, something changed. A faint breeze, like a whisper, seemed to drift through the prison walls, a whisper that held a mysterious promise.

Something was stirring within Frostbitten, something unknown, something powerful, something that would change the course of history.
