"Oh I was sure her name was going to be squirrel" Stream joked "hey!!!" Maple yelped "just because I have a curled tail does not mean I am a squirrel!" Maple pointed out. "hay is for horses" Stream replied.

Angrily Maple stomped her feet "STOP IT!" she yelled, Stream giggled. "Mom, she is making fun of me!" Maple said "she is just playing Maple" Tiger replied

"Cake" Maple said distracted "huh" she heard Cakes tiny voice reply "Want to go exploring?" Maple asked her. "yay exploring!" Cake yelped "follow me then Cake" said Maple "I already was!" Cake replied.

"Where are we going anyway?" Cake asked "you will see" Maple said. Once they went farther and farther they heard a loud noise getting louder by every second. "What is that?" Cake asked quietly "I don't know but it wont hurt us" Maple replied. Maple did not even know where they were going but she just wanted to get away from stream for a little while. Suddenly, three cats with lots of scratches and scars came from the bushes. They tried leaping on Cake and Maple but, just before they did a white cat with light blue eyes jumped blocking their jump. The white tom was half grown, Cake and Maple jumped back. The white had chased the three cats off, Cake was the first to speak "Th-thank y-you" she stammered. The white tom fell on the ground, he also had a long scar on his eye from one of the cats. "Is he dead?!?" Maple half yelled. They both gazed at the lifeless body, motionless for a few minutes. Finally, he got up staring at Maple "hi I'm Frost" he half whispered. "Hello i'm map-" Cake interrupted before Maple could finish, "Hi i'm cake!" she yelped exited. "And i'm Maple" she finished. "Hello Maple and Cake, nice to meet you!" Frost said. "Thank you for saving us" Maple said. "Thank you" Cake finished off, "why did you fall on the ground after you chased off the cats?". "Well it's complicated" Frost mewed. "I'm a descendent from a long ago tribe..." he said "They have nine lives and I just lost one of those lives..." he finished off. Maple was confused, but she didn't want to go on. "So want to meet my parents and friends" Maple asked. "Umm, no thanks" Frost answered "Oh okay" Maple replied ,surprised. "Well we came here to explore, so can we see where you make your home?" Maple asked. "well umm.. sure?" he answered, looking at Maple. "Yay!!" Cake yelped, they followed Frost to where he had called his home.
