"Well, he was really harsh!" Maple said, "Ya" Frost agreed. They walked back to the place they lived, Cake had been awake, her tail flicking impatiently, "I thought something happened to you" she yelped concern showing in her gaze. "Sorry" Maple mewed, Cake's face started scrunching up angry, "Whatever.." Cake hopped on a branch of a tree, and started to sun herself. Frost had a concerned look, "What is wrong with you?" Maple asked him, "n-nothing" he mewed, distracted. "Want to go hunting?" Maple asked Frost, "Um- sure" Frost said. They walked for a while, then finally, they got to a wooded area, Maple opened her jaws and tasted the air. The scent of squirrel lingered in the air, Maple got into hunters crouch, then saw a squirrel by a beech tree. Maple sprang toward the squirrel, but the squirrel ran up the tree, so Maple chased it up the tree. It was at the edge of a branch nibbling a nut, Maple leaped for it, but missed. She was hurtling toward the ground "help" Maple yelped. Frost perked his ears, then he dropped hid prey and ran toward Maple. Right before Maple fell, Frost caught her by her scruff, then he flopped over, panting. "Let go of me now!" Maple yelped. Once he did they both got up, "Thank you" she panted, "No problem" Frost answered. They headed down the slope, toward the camp where they lived. Maple's fur was still ruffled, so Cake was surprised. "What happened to you?" Cake asked bewildered, "Oh it was nothing" Maple blurted, " Only that I saved Maple's life" Frost boasted. "What?!" Cake yelped, wide eyed, "Oh it was nothing, really!" Maple said, "I fell off a tree then Frost caught me" Maple said, blankly. "Oh ok.." Cake murmured, Frost looked hungry, but just stared at them for a while.
