"Everyone I've met has either left or died... That's why I'm gonna destroy the exit of the ruins... So that I won't have to be alone again..." The brunet said, blocking the door with his tiny body.

"I know your alone, so I'm gonna try and reason with her so that everyone can live and peace and you won't have to hide yourself here!" Kouchi replied, trying to convince the other boy, but failing at it.

"But you won't! I'll show them what true determination is!"

"I'm only protecting you... This is your last warning." The expression on the younger boy's face got more serious.

"I promise!"

"Fine. You're just like the others. There's only one solution to this. You must fight me and prove your strong enough to survive." Anthony's hand started to glow a bit and a bit of thunder started to swarm the area before lance magic attacked the other boy, but he dodged them all, and kept dodging the attacks as they came.

"What are you doing?" The smaller boy asked, to which Kouchi kept silent as he dodged the attacks. "Fight me or just run away! What are you trying to prove to me!?"

"That it's not kill or be killed!" The raven haired boy replied, breaking his silence and continuing to dodge.

"Just fight me or leave!" Then the attacks stopped, and Kouchi had a minute to catch his breath from all the dodging.

"Stop looking at me like that. Look, I know that you want to go home, but, please just go back into the house... I don't want to hurt you and I promise I'll take care of you the best I can. I know I don't have much, but we can try to have a good life here. I don't want this to be so difficult for the both of us..."

Attacks came on more slowly after that, as if he was giving up...

"Heh... I can't save a single person... No wonder Ariel left me... I'm too soft my own good... I know you'd be unhappy here, and I'm still clinging onto my delusions that I have someone here with me... It wouldn't be right for you. Go, and don't let anyone take your data..." Tears started forming in his eyes.

"I promise I'll visit at least. And when this is all over, I'll show you around the rest of the digital world." Kouchi said as he hugged the smaller boy. Afterwards, the boy moved allowing Kouchi to pass.

"But do you at least have something to eat?"

No matter what, he knew that Anthony still cared.
