ICANREAD265

Weclome to 'From Words on Paper', where we get to know some of our favorite authors, and learn more from them beside what they create for the fandom.

Tonight on the show, we're joined by ICANREAD265. An author who writes multiple stories at once. He tries his best to write some unique stories, such as 'Revengful Rose' and 'The Lost Soul'. And we're glad to have him here with us, tonight.

Artomix: Alright. First off, I want to thank you for participating on this interview/podcast thing of mine. I want you to know that you're not forced to answer a question if you don't want to and that you're free to ask questions as well.

ICANREAD265: Its a pleasure to be here.

Artomix: Alright, how I usually like to start of is, who are you? So, why don't you explain a bit about yourself?

ICANREAD265: Well first off I'm from the US, I don't really given my real name out to anyone. Only to ones I trust. Also what I like to do is well write so people can read them. I mostly do harem and neglect/abused stories, but I'm trying out new ways for my stories.

Artomix: I've noticed that you indeed have a lot of stories in your library, and a couple of them really did caught my attention, like 'Darkness', and 'A Grimm's Revenge', but I preasume that with all those stories at the same time, it can be really hard to write them, correct?

ICANREAD265: Yes, yes it is. Especially when I get so many comments on when I'm gonna update. And also just coming up with a new idea for the next chapter is also hard.

Artomix: If I can recommend something, why don't you try to focus on one story for the time being? It can help finish one story, and some time appart from a project that you're stuck with can help.

ICANREAD265: That would be helpful. Thank you.

Artomix: Anyway, the next question that I have is about your artistic name, what does it mean?

ICANREAD265: Well the way I got name was well because of my family. When I told them that I read on Wattpad thy were surprised that I read and when I made my account I came up with ICANREAD265.

Artomix: Simple enough, I supose. Not that I have anything against it. The next question is... how did you discover RWBY?

ICANREAD265: Well I discovered RWBY because of my friend he dragged me to my schools anime club and what we watched that day was RWBY and when it ended I went home and googled rwby. Then I started to watch it.

Artomix: That's a new one. You guys over in America really do have those unique club rooms. Here in Europe, or at least in Spain, the only thing close to that is language, music or sport clubs.

Anyway, the next question is, have you ever written something before RWBY? If so, what was it about?

ICANREAD265: Actually the first er one I wrote was THE LOST SOUL its basically a neglected and abused genji reader.

Artomix: Alright. I got one last question before we starte the more 'author related' questions. Do you have a favorite author or favorite story?

ICANREAD265: Yes I do his name is SavageKidd2115 and my favorite story from him is Remnants Harem.

Artomix: Both of you do more or less similar things with your story, don't you? Both of you make a lot of stories at the same time, although his stories can be a bit more repetitive with all his stories.

Anyway, now were starting with the more 'serious' question. What inspired you to write fanfics?

ICANREAD265: Well I was inspired by many other authors from my hero academia all the way to RWBY. They all inspired me to make my own stories.

Artomix: Really? How come?

ICANREAD265: Well when I read there stories that made something inside me tic. Like "I should do his" and I got the idea of my first story from SavageKidd2115 from his neglected and abused stories. He didn't have many but they were still inspiring.

Artomix: Alright. You more or less already answered this question just now, but where fo you get your ideas for stories?

ICANREAD265: Oh well I get them from when from when I have a memory of my childhood, when I watch YouTube, play video games, listening to music, when I'm watching a movie with my family, or watch anime with my brother

Artomix: From all kind of places then. Anyway, the next question on the list is... have you ever colaborated with another author on a story? If so, what was it like?

ICANREAD265: Yes I have some of the readers help me with ideas for my stories like SYMBIOTIC. One of my readers messaged me about how to do the idea for hybrid some others sent me messages in the conversions to improve my story and help me with ideas and lemons.

And it really helped cause I was stuck in SYMBIOTIC until that one reader helped me out.

We are going to take a bit of a break. You're listening to 'The Struggle', by 'Blacklite District'.

And now, back to the interview.

Artomix: Yeah, some of our readers can be life savers. I know the feelings. I was a little stuck for a while on 'The Rose to my Nightmare' before I took a break from it entirely, but they really do help us from time to time.

Anyway, the next question might be a weird one, and I might know the answer already, but what is your prefered writing program?

ICANREAD265: Well I pretty much just write normally but I will admit my grammer is shit. Plus for certain stories I use an app called kika keyboard.

Artomix: I usually like to use OpenOffice or Word for my stories. Both of them does help with the grammar problem. Word more than OpenOffice.

Onto the next question, do you ask about opinions about your story? If so, what are their responds?

ICANREAD265: I don't normally ask for opinions because you never know if they will be hurtful or not, but its always nice to revive comments about the stories I do.

Artomix: That's understandable. There isn't much left of the 'author related' questions. The next one is, do you try more to be original or to deliver to readers what they want?

ICANREAD265: I like to be original and do mown thin like follow the story line or come up with mown storyline. I also like to give the readers what they want so they won't be disappointed.

Artomix: That's usually a hard balance to find, but I do hope that you succeed with that. Anyway, how did publishing your first book change your process of writing?

ICANREAD265: Well I started to get comments and messages on how to improve my writing and it really did help. I also got comments not to do run on sentences and use more periods.

Artomix: That can help to avoid walls of texts, I have to agree. One more question before I'm done with the 'author related' questions. How many hours a day do you write?

ICANREAD265: I tend to write just two hours a day or just one chapter that takes a whole day. When i do write for two hours then I just do my own thins and help out around my house

Artomix: So, you multitask while you write?

ICANREAD265: Sometimes it tends to keep me distracted

Artomix: I tend to do that a lot as well. Anyway, what is the most difficult part of your artistic process?

*A new challenger aproaches*

ICANREAD265: Bring it

Artomix: Bring what?

*User Disconected*

ICANREAD265: Oh shit sorry my brother stole my tablet for a sec

Artomix: XD That's a first, but don't worry about it. Anyway, like I asked before, what's your favorite under-appreciated novel?

ICANREAD265: But the most difficult part is just coming up with an idea for a new story, dealing with my grades, the fights that go in my family, WI-FI, and when I get my tablet taken away because of my grades. As in Wattpad or IRL.

Artomix: A lot on your hands apparently. I'm sure that our readers can understand if you ever need a break from writting so that you can focus on yours grades.

ICANREAD265: My favorite under-appreciated novel is well I don't really have one. There is just to many that I can really decide.

Artomix: Alright. What is your thoughts of the RWBY community?

ICANREAD265: I love the RWBY community. There are may creative people in the community like artists, people that make life size weapons, and even some that make AMV's of the series but the one thin I don't like is the meme that people do about Pyrrha's death.

Artomix: That can be a bit insensitive to some people as far as I noticed. I still think that Penny also deserved some more love. Anyway, Do you have any tips for the rest of the public?

ICANREAD265: Yes I do. Do be afraid of what people say. They may hurt but they can make you strong, anyone can be amazing at what they can do and what they love to do. Live life at its fullest and don't be afraid to take chances. Seize your moment to make a difference.

Artomix: I couldn't have said that any better. Do you have any questions for me?

ICANREAD265: None that I can think of.

Artomix: Alright then. Do you have any last words before this is over?

ICANREAD265: Yes. I just want to thank you for choosing me for this interview.

Artomix: No problem. I'm glad that we did this. Even if there were some problems here and there. Mostly here on my part. Time difference can be a huge pain.

But anyway, I'm glad that you agreed on joining. It has been interesting to have you here.

{For the rest of the world to understand what I meant here, the interview started around... 1 AM and finished around 3 AM. Damn time difference...}
