The Way I Did
The next day, Ota awoke to knocking on his door. He opened it to reveal Kira, who ordered for him to change, no questions asked. The artist did as told and soon came out changed to a waiting pair of siblings. "Are you ready?"
"Where are we going?" "I said not to ask questions. In my book, I shoot first and ask later." she grins at his question, leaving it unanswered. "Now let's go. We have a tight schedule today. As I said, your things'll be brought by Inui and Samejima but Soryu has work and so do I so I need to go and you're coming with me."
Ota shuts his mouth, knowing better as Kira hurriedly drags him out of the cabin with Soryu. They separated, with Samejima picking up Soryu whilst Kira and Ota got into Kira's black Mercedes. With their seat belts on, Kira glanced at the rear view, looking behind them. No one was there, but she sped up.
"Crap..." she cursed under her breath, her gaze alternating between the rear view mirror and the road. "Kira? There's no one there?" "Tell that to a guy running on the building roof to catch up!" she snaps and after a glance in the rear view himself, the blonde haired artist finally notices a man chasing after them, jumping building after building.
"Hold on, we're going to break some rules." she grinned smugly before making a sharp turn, Ota going along with it. The man is still behind them. "Shit... Alright, I'm going to slow down. Ota," she calls him by his first name, and that catches his attention, turning to the mafia princess with hopeful eyes. "Ota, once I slow down, I want you to jump out the car and hide in an alley. I'll tell you when to. And don't come out, no matter what. I'll have Inui or one of the Dragons pick you up from your location."
Ota was doubtful and hesitant, but decided to put faith in the raven haired assassin, nodding in agreement to her plan before unbuckling his seat belt. "Get ready, Ota. Once I turn, the alley is just right by the corner building. On three."
"One..." Ota slightly opens the door.
"Two..." the artist looks up for the man, seeing no sign of him.
The car was down to at least 40 km/hr, "Three!" Ota does as told, jumping out and rolling on his back before scurrying into the alley just in time before the assassin from above passed by, still chasing the car. Breathing a sigh of relief, the artist curls into a ball, leaning against the wall as he tries to calm his wild heartbeat down.
"She'll be fine... She'll be fine..." he mutters to himself, thinking about the dangerous situation Kira was in. Ota pulled out his phone, trying to call someone when Kira's voice suddenly filled his mind and ears.
"And don't come out, no matter what."

It's been nearly an hour and Ota was becoming worried. What if Kira got killed? Will someone come for him?!
He was having an inner battle, debating whether to go out and find help himself or to wait as instructed. An annoying voice broke his train of thought.
"Ota?! What are you doing in that alley way?!" Hikari's voice filled his ear and Ota flinched. "See! I should've gone with you. Kira just left you here to die!"
"Hikari, I-" The model places a finger over his lips. "Nope, let's get back to the hotel. And clean you up." The model dragged him away and Ota struggled, trying to get back in the alley.
"Don't you see? She's not coming for you, Ota!" Hikari groans, irritated as she struggles to drag the artist back to Tres Spades.
Meanwhile, a ginger haired boy searched the previously occupied alley, looking for Ota who disappeared and he contacted his boss. "Ms. Oh! He's not here! Someone took him!" he cried, looking around the narrow path desperately.
"Crap... Alright, Inui, I want you to get back to the HQ quickly and send out a search. I have an idea but I just don't want to waste anymore time." she orders and without a goodbye, hangs up.

Meanwhile, Kira rushes down the streets, trying to out run the assassin as she watches over Ota, who has scurried into the alley. She sighs. He'll be safe. Even for now.
She decides to abandon the car, planting a bug in it to listen into anything. She runs down the streets and through the bug, listens in to the assassin after them as he searches the car. "Crap, not in here... That blonde better get him, then." At that, only one person flashed through her mind. Hikari.
It doesn't seem likely, but right now, anything was possible.

"Look, Hikari. I need to meet up with Kira." "Let's go, Ota. She was never going to take care of you anyway. Didn't you see she set this up? That's why there was an assassin after you."
"Wait... How did you know that?"
Hikari doesn't answer, just drags him off but he shakes off her grip. "How. Do. You. Know. That. Hikari?" he demands, when suddenly, Hikari disappears, only to reappear behind him, pressing a drugged cloth to his nose and mouth.
The artist's body goes limp and he falls, unconscious. Only one face remained in his mind as he fainted.
Kira.

A raven haired girl rushes onto her motorcycle, whipping her helmet on as she started its engine. It roars to life as she began speeding through the streets, jumping red lights as she zipped passed cars, trying to get to Tres Spades in time.
She rushed down the empty roads near the hotel, glancing at her watch ever so often as she worried for the safety of her beloved.
She might have broken up with him, but that doesn't mean she did that to hurt him.
If she could just tell him...
Tell him everything in a few words; all she could say was:
"She never loved you, the way I did."
