Something Against Him
The auction was going smoothly, and having Kira's crew really helped. The bidders and Kira were watching from their gallery viewing with Ota's cell vibrating constantly, most likely Hikari, who has been decided to stay back.
The artist ignored the calls, clicking his tongue in annoyance as if he never had wanted to be with her in the first place. "This is getting annoying. Turn it off, Ota." Eisuke commands and Ota was more than happy to do so.
The auction was just about to end and a statue was up for bidding. The bid was about to be set when the doors burst open and multiple men in black storm to the stage. "What is going on, Soryu? I thought your men were-"
"Perfect timing." Kira cackles from the side and all the bidders' eyes turn to her in anger. "You brought them here?!" Eisuke yells, glaring harshly at the woman. "Tch, can't even trust me?" she shakes her head with a click of her tongue.
"Hey, Kira!" Baba calls after her when Kira suddenly stands on the edge of the gallery viewing. "Don't do anything rash!" they try to stop her, but she jumps off. 5 stories high.
"Oh crap..." they mutter but Soryu looked calm, staring out to the attack of men and soon spots his sister running in. "She's there. Just watch."
The bidders calm down and watch the fight ensuing between Soryu's group and the intruders. "Where's Kira? And her people?!" Eisuke exclaims, looking out to the group when he suddenly spots Kira's team gathering on stage, even without Kira instructing them.
"Listen..." the mobster mutters to his friends and soon, a shrill whistle sounds through the air and Kira's group, who were gathered by the stage, stormed into the battle. Ota surveyed the crowd, looking for Kira when she suddenly bursts out of the crowd of tall men, jumping as high as she can.
The bidders notice a dagger and a gun in her hands as she shoots, hitting the intruders in the head as she falls back on the ground and disappears in the crowd once more. With the help of her group and Soryu's the crowd of intruders fell one by one. One man was left standing and Kira gestured for the Ice Dragons to move away. The bidders watch from the gallery viewing with growing curiosity.
They heard her loud and clear in the now quiet auction hall. "Who are you? And whom do you work for? Answer it and I'll let you go." "That information is classif- AGH!" the man falls to his knees when kira shoots both his feet with a steady gaze.
"I'm going to ask you again, who are you and who do you work for?!" she exclaims, kneeling down on a knee and grabbing the man's collar. "W-We work for the S-Silver Jaguars! I'm second in command! I came here to kill the mafia prince and princess of the Ice Dragons!" he stutters, panicking.
"Pathetic." Kira stands back up and points her gun to his head. "W-Wait! You said you'd let me go!" he screams, staring at her, cowering.
"I didn't say you'd make it out alive." she grins wickedly and pulls the trigger with a steady hand, killing the man instantly as the bullet pierces his skull.
"They made me this way." she mutters, walking out of the auction hall with orders to clean up the bloody mess.

Back at the penthouse, the bidders were all drinking, trying to relieve themselves of the gruesome scene they had just witnessed. "Ota! Is it done?!" Hikari comes bursting through the doors and the bidders shoot anxious glances towards Kira, who was calmly sipping her drink as she looks on with a stoic face.
"Did Kira hit on you while I was gone?" she mocks with a grin towards the author, who shrugs and glares at the model in return. "I saved your boyfriend's ass, that's what I did." she rolls her eyes.
Hikari ignores the comment and drags Ota away, giggling uncontrollably. Kira kept drinking, slowly downing glass after glass, but not showing any signs of being drunk. Or any emotions for that matter.
"Kira, can I talk to you?" Baba waits for no reply and drags the author away from the group, into his suite. "What do you want, Mitsunari?"
"Are you really okay with Ota and Hikari?" "None of my business, and neither is it yours." her answer was the same as last time, but once Baba tried again... "Would you believe me if I said he still loved you?"
Kira stared at him as if he were crazy before finally answering. "Love? Hikari and Ota seem perfect together... And after listening to him say she was his soulmate, I have never been more sure."
Baba was confused as the author's words before she spoke again.
"Besides, how can I believe if in the middle of believe is the word 'lie'?"

5 uneventful days passed and Kira was off on a meeting with some Japanese mafia gang. She finished off her morning tea and cleaned up before getting ready to leave. Snow was covering the streets of the city like powder and as she peeked out the window, small puffs of air appeared as she breathed, clouding the window. Snowflakes fell softly as children built snowmen on the streets and people rushed by, looking for some place warm.
Sighing to herself, she pulled out a cigar, lighting it as she took a puff, trying to calm her nerves. This wasn't just any gang, they were... complicated and had short tempers. The lounge was empty as she smoked, breathing in the addicting scent.
"Didn't think ya'd smoke, kid." Mamoru's gruff voice called from behind her and she turned to him with her usual empty face, tipping her cigar to him. "Cause no one ever asked." she chuckled before taking another whiff.
"Well, still a good way to calm the nerves." the detective grinned and took a seat beside her on the window sill. "Better than cutting myself." she mutters, looking out to the view of the vast city. "So what's the problem? Stressed?"
"Mafia meeting." "Ah, good luck on that one." he comments. "Hopefully no brains have to be splattered on the wall, too." she laughs quietly, taking another breath of her cigarette. "Especially yours."
"Aw, I'm touched. Didn't think you'd care about me, Mamo." "I'm just trying not to have Soryu complaining to anyone about your death." "Now I just feel bad." she sulks playfully but Mamoru plays along and ruffles her hair.
"I'm not the only one who cares, kid." he chuckles, implying the other bidders. "But there should be one person happy about my death." she remarks angrily. "Seriously? Who?"
"That blonde bitch." she answers and Mamoru's eyes go wide, "Now I don't think that Kisaki is-" "I meant the slut always around him." "Ah, Hikari. Yeah, pretty much."
"Anyway, got to leave in a few minutes. I'll see you later." Kira jumps t her feet and stumps out the cigarette, picking up her thin coat. "You gonna go out out there, in that?" the material was as thin as silk as she put it on.
"Don't really bother me. I've been at way worse." she snickers and ties her hair up in a ponytail before tucking a gun and a dagger into her combat boots. "I'll see you later, Kishi." she waves at the detective and grins before turning to leave.
But she heard a few words the detective muttered before she closed the door.
"Kid.. What happened to you?"
