All I Need
A/N: This is the last chapter! Thanks so much for reading! On that note, I will be writing another story inspired by another Voltage app, Class Trip Crush! It'll be titled 'Broken Perfection' but anyway, back to the story!

"Come on..." she mutters, running her hand through her hair. Kira awaited and soon, the elevator's golden doors open to the penthouse lounge. "WHERE'S OTA?!" she screams at the bidders as she enters and as expected, everyone was there but Ota and Hikari.
"Oh, hi, Kira! We just saw Hikari dragging Ota to his-" Baba greeted the assassin but at his few words, she rushed past him, towards Ota's suite. She could hear ruffling on the other side of the door, and Hikari's voice.
"It's quite sad... I have to end our relationship here, you know? But since I love you, I'll have you talk to someone one more time but there are some exceptions of course." Kira could practically hear the smug smirk in her voice.
"You can call anyone but the police, and it has to be on the phone, neither can you call the bidder because of obvious reasons. Kira can be called if you wish since she's nowhere near us. Who do you want to call, Ota?"
"I hate you..." she could hear his quiet hiss through the door and she heard a safety lock of a gun removed. "Do you want to call anyone, Ota? Or do I just kill you here?"
"Fine. Get Kira on the line." the assassin's eyes widen and Kira fumbles to place her phone on silent. She waits, and soon, her phone vibrates silently. Breathing a sigh of relief, she answers, making sure she couldn't be heard through the door as she picks the lock.
"Hello? Who's this?" she asks, her phone between her ear and shoulder as she used her locking pins to unlock the door. "Hi, Kira! It's Hikari, Ota's here and he has a few words to tell you."
She could hear the phone pressed against Ota's ear and soon, she heard his sweet voice call out to her. "Kira! Oh thank god... Look, don't come to the hotel! Hikari's going to-" then Hikari's voice cut in, just as Kira opened the door a bit, seeing the model slap the artist. "I said not to give your location. Well, she's probably far from here so I'll let you finish." she shrugs and once more presses it against Ota's ear, thankfully not on speakerphone.
"Kira?" "Ota! Listen, I'm right by your suite, be quiet and distract her and please don't do anything stupid for God's sake." she orders and Ota covers it up nicely. "Thank you so much, Kira... I love you."
Hikari cuts the call and finally presses the gun to his temple with a happy grin. "I always thought we'd get married, Ota. But this is a deal I can't refuse." she remarks, nuzzling the gun into his head. "Any more words? I can tell them to the bidders if you wish?" she offers sarcastically, Kira creeping up behind her.
Before either could say another word, Kira joins the conversation, "Yeah, I'll tell them that some crazy bitch tried to kill Ota. But I can tell them she's dead, as well."
Hikari spun around and a gunshot rang through the otherwise quiet suite, echoing down the halls to the lounge outside.

The woman falls to her knees, blood gushing out her head where the bullet was buried within. She didn't say anything, just stared at the other woman beside Ota, who was grinning. She muttered curses under her breath as darkness ate at her vision until everything blacked out. Her heart stopped pumping and the ragged pants that came from her was no longer heard. Her chest no longer rising nor falling. She was dead.
"Well, that was fun. Let's get this over with."
"W-Wait!" Ota stuttered, struggling against the ropes as a gun was pointed to his face. "I-I'm sorry!"
"I told you not to leave that alley! Why would you do that?!" Kira screeched, rolling her eyes as she swiftly placed the gun in her holster, only to be replaced with a dagger that cut the ropes which had bounded the artist.
"She dragged me!"
"Whatever, just next time I give you orders, please follow them. No one should be tracking down Soryu or you anymore since I told the other Dragons on mine and Soryu's team to take care of that gang after you. That means my business here is done."
Kira rose from her knees as Ota rubbed his reddened wrists. But as she was almost out the door, Ota rushed after her, grabbing her arm. "What?"
"I... What I said on the phone..." "Yeah, good job distracting her by the way. Pretty good acting skills." Kira tried to cover up her disappointment with a compliment to the artist but her face reddened when Ota suddenly pulled her to his chest where she could hear his heartbeat clearly. "It was true."
Kira stayed silent as tears threatened to fall from her eyes, but she was unaware of the other bidders watching from the doorway. "Everything I said was true..." he repeated, beginning to stroke her hair.
The artist missed her. So goddamn much. The feeling of her hair through his fingers, how she called him, how she smiled at him. He missed everything of her.
What snapped him out of his bliss filled reverie was wet drops on his shirt, noticing that Kira was sobbing against his chest. Her hands were balled into fists as they pounded against his chest weakly. "It's not fair... It's not fair..." her voice was muffled through his shirt but he heard word for word.
"Why'd you leave me, Kira? Why...?" he asked quietly, lifting her chin for her to look at him. She gazed into his honey like hues through her tear blurred ones. "I couldn't protect you."
"What?"
"Hikari... She said she'd kill you if I stayed. I... I couldn't risk that." she mutters, hanging her head.
"It doesn't matter, you know I'd never leave you. I'd die for you, Kira!" "And I don't want that! Cole already died because of me... I don't want the same to happen to you!" she cries, falling limp into his arms again.
The bidders by the doorway left one by one, deciding it wasn't their place to stay, but they all smiled as they left, happy for their friends.
"Kira... Remember that necklace I gave you before?"
He reminded her of the necklace he had given to her during their one year anniversary, it was a locket with a picture of them.
"Remember the words carved into the back?"
They stared at each other before saying each word slowly, the phrase forever burned into their memory.
"It doesn't matter what they say. You're all I need."

It's been 2 years since Ota and Kira got back together, and today was their 5 year anniversary and Ota had taken her to some mysterious place, blindfolded.
She could feel grass and the sound of rustling leaves as he lead her around until they finally stopped. "You can take it off now." Kira reluctantly removed the blindfold and the first thing she saw was the sunset from where they stood on a cliff. The sky was painted a brilliant orange, gradually turning a lighter shade towards the sun. It was something you'd see in a painting itself.
"Oh My God..." she whispers quietly, staring out the vast scenery of the woods below her. "Kira..." the only thing bringing her back was the soft voice of her boyfriend.
She turned to him slowly, and gasped.
Ota was down on one knee, bathed in the sunset's soft rays. He was smiling gently, a small, navy blue box in hand. "O-Ota..." Kira was sometimes dense when it came to love, but even she knew better than this.
A hand flew to her mouth as Ota took her free one. "Kira... We've been to hell a lot together for the past 5 years," Kira giggles at his statement, making Ota break out into a smile. "A lot changed this half decade, but only one thing hasn't, and that's my love for you."
Kira's heart melts as she gazes into his earnest eyes. "I know I can be irresponsible or childish at times, but I love you so much. Man I can't believe I'm doing this, but..."
"Kira Oh... Will you marry me?"
He opens the box to reveal a simple ring, it was beautifully decorated and simple, but Kira loved every bit of it. "Yes! Yes!" she squeals, tackling the artist into a hug.
He slips the ring onto the girl's finger as they embrace, basking in the happy glow. "I love you... Remember what we said 5 years ago, Kira?"
They repeat the same words from 5 years ago with a smile.
"It doesn't matter what they say. You're all I need."
