The next day Pam was in a daze but she was acting normal, like nothing. Pam was still hurting about Fergal getting married but she was too late to do anything about it now and from what she could see he was happy with Shauna. Sitting at a cafe Pam had a lunch date with Mercedes before Mercedes had to go off to meet up with Joseph later on. It was strange that Mercedes was dating Joseph but they were happy and so in love. Just then Mercedes walked into the cafe with Joseph behind her as she walked over to where Pam was seated.

"I'll leave you ladies to it. I'll see you later babydoll" Joseph said as he wrapped his arms around Mercedes.

"Okay babyboy I'll see you later. Love you" Mercedes replied throwing her arms around his neck as he lean down and kissed her.

"Love you too babe" Joseph said kissing Mercedes again before walking out leaving Mercedes to have lunch with Pam.

"You and Joseph look so happy Mercy, I'm happy for you" Pam said after Mercedes sat down next to Pam.

"I truly am very happy Pam" Mercedes replied smiling until she saw the look on Pam face and she knew straight away that something was bothering Pam.

"Pam, what's wrong hun? And don't say nothing because I know you, I can see it that something is upsetting you. Talk to me" Mercedes said reaching across and grabbing Pam's hand squeezing it to encourage her to talk to her.

"Oh Mercy, where do I start?" Pam said just giving up, she had to tell someone so she can get it off her chest and who better than Mercedes.

"Well starting from the beginning is always a good place to start" Mercedes said trying to lighten up the mood.

"Okay here it goes...... do you remember that night I got drunk and you took me back to my hotel room so I could sleep it off?" Pam asked Mercedes.

"How could I forget! You were so wasted and so was Fergal not as wasted as you but he was tipsy. Yeah Rami and I took you both back to the hotel to sleep it off, why?" Mercedes replied looking at Pam curiously as she waited to hear what Pam was going to tell her.

"Well after you left me in my hotel room I got up and went to Fergal's room" Pam said before pausing. 

"What!" Mercedes said stunned.

"I ended up in his bed, Mercedes" Pam said putting her hands in front of her face.

"Pam, oh my god please tell me you didn't do anything?" Mercedes asked fearing what Pam is going to tell her next.

"We had sex..........twice" Pam said finally telling Mercedes her secret.

"OH MY GOD! Pam, are you serious?" Mercedes said a little to loud, she couldn't believe that Pam slept with Fergal and not just once but twice.

"Oh there's more, Mercy" Pam said, she was on a roll right now and she just wanted to tell Mercedes everything.

"Oh god Pam, please tell me your not pregnant" Mercedes said as she was trying to take in all this information Pam was telling her.

"What! No, Mercy I'm not pregnant!" Pam said as Mercedes sighed with relief.

"Oh thank god, you had me worried there" Mercedes said putting her hand over her heart relived.

"But I've gone and fallen in love with him" Pam blurted out before bursting into tears.

"Oh Pam, oh hun!" Mercedes said reaching over and rubbing Pam's back.

"What am I going to do Mercy?" Pam asked, she was so confused.

"Have you spoken to Fergal about this? Does he know?" Mercedes asked.

"We spoke briefly the next day when we ended up in the lift. We had no choice but to talk and we both acted like nothing and we both agree to be friends, but now I'm in love with him" Pam said looking at Mercedes for some advice, just anything.

"Pam you have to tell him how you feel. Fergal has a right to know, what if he has feelings for you too" Mercedes said .

"Mercedes! He's getting married, besides he loves Shauna and his happy who am I to came between them" Pam replied it felt good to talk to Mercedes about this but Pam was still in a predicament and had no idea what to do.

"Oh Pam, I don't know what else to tell you hun" Mercedes said giving Pam's arm a squeeze.

"I'll just have to live with it. As long as his happy I have to learn to be happy" Pam replied sighing as Mercedes looked at her sympathetically.

Just then Fergal walked in but he was alone, Shauna wasn't with him. He walked up to the counter to order a coffee to go as he was running around trying to organise things. As he waited Fergal was checking his messages and replying to some. At that precise moment Mercedes looked up and saw Fergal at the counter and she smiled as she turn to Pam.

"Today's your lucky day Pam, look who's at the counter" Mercedes said as Pam confused at what Mercedes was going on about looked towards the counter and gasped when she saw Fergal standing there.

"Oh my god, what's he doing here?" Pam said shocked to see Fergal there.

"Go talk to him Pam, it's the perfect opportunity for you to tell him how you feel. You've got nothing to loose, go for it" Mercedes said encouraging Pam to go and talk to Fergal.

"Are you serious, his getting married Mercy are you crazy" Pam replied not wanting to talk to Fergal right now.

"Go talk to him or I will" Mercedes threatened Pam putting her in a very uncomfortable position.

"Okay, okay!" Pam said getting up from her seat as Mercedes gave her the thumbs up.

Walking up to the counter Pam was so nervous she was going to lay her heart on the line and tell Fergal her feelings and she was petrified of his reaction but she was going to do it and whatever happens, happens she'll deal with it later but right now she was going to go for it like Mercedes said she's got nothing to loose.

"Hey Fergal!" Pam said sitting down next to him at the counter.

"Pam, hey, how are you going?" Fergal asked putting his phone down as he turned to look at her.

"I'm okay, just busy with stuff you know how it is" Pam replied getting nervous again.

"Pam, are you okay?" Fergal asked when he saw her getting nervous and he knew something was going on.

"Actually I'm not okay, is there somewhere more private I can talk to you?" Pam replied, she was scared but it was now or never.

"Ehhh..... yeah, sure" Fergal said "come with me I know somewhere more private" he continued as he got up from the counter leading Pam off to the side where it was more private and just the two of them.

"Okay Pam talk to me, what's wrong?" Fergal asked when they were in a more private place.

"You remember that night we got drunk and ended up............ you know" Pam said she was really nervous now but she was just gonna tell him.

"Yeah, I thought we were okay and that we could still be friends" Fergal replied getting confused as to why Pam was bringing up that night now.

"I was okay, I mean I am okay that we're still friends but..........." Pam said and stopped as Fergal continued to look at her.

"But what Pam?" Fergal said trying to understand what was going on.

"After that night I was starting to develop feelings........ for you" Pam said looking up at Fergal in the eyes, she was shaking.

"Feelings, what feelings?" Fergal asked almost too scared to know what Pam was going to say.

 "I've fallen in love with you Fergal"

A/N: Oh shit Pam's confessed LOL and I'm leaving you all hanging *ducks for cover* don't kill me LOL! I can't wait to write the next chapter damn I said it was gonna be 5 chapters but it looks like it will be more argh I always do this to myself oh well now I'm thinking to have it as a 10 chapter book but I'll see how I go!
