I smacked my lips "boy stop playing" he lazy butt was still knocked out in his bed.
"Mya I told you I'm feeling sick" I smacked him "Lie again and ama smack you"
"What the hell , you already did " he caressed his cheek. "August stop playing we were suppose to go shopping today" I whined

"Ya babe we went yesterday the day before and the day before that , like what else is there to buy. "I pouted. It was kinda true can you blame me though. "I think you bought out the whole mall already."
"You doing as if I didn't buy you anything"
"I'm very grateful for it even though I told you you didn't have to" he mumbled getting more cuddled up in his sheets.

"Oh come on August ,don't make me smack your bottom "  I threatened , his head popped out the covers with a look of disgust and shock. "So you goin just threaten to violate me while I'm sick" I chuckled "do I get to squeeze your's?"
" Hell no!" I laughed .he scoffed "some bull" he mumbled before going back under his covers.

I faked an exaggerated sighed . "Aight fine , I'll go by my damn self" I mumbled getting up and packing my bag.

"She out with Dennis " I could hear him turning around in his bed. " How about Cha"
"She bout to leave because the kids got a play date " I hear him mumble a damn.
I was about to leave his room. "I'll call the boys then " I shook my head . "Nah with all the boys at the mall I'll make new friends" so I prolly said that on purpose because of how protective he can be. He frowned at me . "Gimme a sec lemme change my clothes."

"No I mean is cool you can stay maybe my new friends would tell me if I look good in the clothing booth"

"Mya I'm almost done , you best stop talking all that nonsense before I shut you up. Ain't no guy going see you in nothing ."

"Oh he being mean to you huh Aunt Mya ?" Noonie said with her hand on her hip shaking her head. I pouted nodding my head.

"It's okay Aunty we got you " Chay said , looking at me sympathetically . Kay came with all the attitude of the world on her face .

"Girls let's go" Chandra yelled from downstairs. "Okay mommy " Chay yelled back. Just then August came back out from the bathroom.

"Oh and uncle Aug shut don't go up prices do " Chay said with her hand on her hip. "And you better not be mean to aunty Mya again" she pointed her finger at him .

His face , oh my gosh. Hahaa. They good . I feel for the kids at their school.  He shook his head afraid to answer them. She eyed him before smiling at him "mhmm" then walked away . " You better not uncle Aug " noonie singed while walking away. "Or it's going be yo booty " Kay smirked walking.

I snickered " so you goin leave them lil kids school you like that " he stale face me and I busted out laughing .

"Hi hi hi hi funny " his sarcasm made me laugh even more. "Watch I stay home and you go by yourself"

I settled down "okay okay I'm done" I watch his straight his and I started laughing all over again.

"Maan you a trip" he started laughing a bit.

"Mya I'm tired of holding these bags and I'm hungry as hell" August whined . Both his hands were full with bags .
"Aight aight let's go put these in the car and then we'll go eat"

We walked out and started putting them in the car . Russell wasn't there anymore cuzz Aug was driving my car. I spotted a familiar face ." Anthony!?"

When he turned I recognized him in a heartbeat. I screamed and ran to hug him.

"How are you ?!" He looked so happy to see me. I haven't seen my cousins from my moms side of the family in a long time.

"I'm good I'm good how about you though, I heard you got your eyesight back . That's great news "
"I know , God is so good, thought I'd never get it back." I breathe out.
"How does it feel to see your hottest cousin in the world baby?" I pursed my lips then I faked a surprise "Antonio's here too?! Where is he ?" He stale faced me.

"Whatever hater " I laughed. "Oh right right this is my boyfriend August " introduced since he started coughing up a storm. So dramatic. "Meet my cousin Anthony" they dapped each other "wassup"

"Whose the girl with you ?" He looked back at her and shrugged she seemed occupied talking to her friend "Just .. uh a family friend" I nodded well we gotta get going we're both hungry ."

"Before you go the whole family is here and we wanted you guys to come over tomorrow if that's possible " I was so happy to hear that.

"Oh okay I'll be sure to tell them."
"It was nice seeing you"
"Same here"

We hopped in the car ." See so I didn't shop for nothing. " I stuck my tongue out to him.
"Oh wow three days of shopping for one family get together" he said with sarcasm.
"You coming too you know that right?"

"Alright cool, how I'm pose to dress?"
"Semi formal" he popped his eyebrow.

"They Spanish boo a get together ain't never something small"

"Was you sick for real ?" I see him smile . "Nah , my head was hurting a bit nothing August can't handle "

"Are you sure baby ?" I was feeling bad now I pulled him out his house to take me shopping.

"I'm fine " he waved me off . So I shrugged . All right then. If he say so .

I lied. My back. My shoulder my head and my arms hurting like hell not from the bag carrying but from the car accident.

It been hurting like hell.
Ever since everything been good , I stop stressing and now the pain be catching up to me.

When we reached by her house I tried picking up her stuff but I felt the pain kick in my arm. "Aaw damn" I mumbled in pain.

"Bae you okay ?" I see the worryness in her eyes. "Fine, my arms hurt from carrying all yo crap" I teased.

"Ha ha don't disrespect my stuff boy, some of your things in there too" I picked them up but damn .. my arm were burning. "Baeee !! Your sweating already ! What's wrong?"

"Nothing" she smacked her lips "try that lie again " she dared me .
"Come on gimme em " she tried taking them but I shook my head "nah I got this"

"August gimme the damn thing" she grabbed them out of my hands and picked up the rest bags and walked in her house.

I sighed . I need to start taking back my pills.

She came back for me "come inside boy" I walked in and went straight for the couch . Soon I sat I relaxed my body. I felt tired self.

"What's wrong?" She folded her arms .

"My body hurt " she scanned me "wanna go in detail?"
I was so tired even talking to her was hard for me. " My upper body , from the car accident " my words came out slurred. "Bae ... Bae ? ...August can you see me?August!"

Everything became blurry and then black.

Mya's POV

"Bae ... Bae ? ...August can you see me?August!" I snapped my fingers calling him out.
I called our recent doctor for some info "Doctor Anderson , hey uh my boyfriend .. August Alsina . He kinda blacked out on me . He said his upper body  was hurting him-"

"Oh ok Ms Houghton there's no need to worry he just needs to rest. Once the pain becomes too much his body will get physically tired and eventually pass out. So he just needs to rest. Make sure he takes his pills after he eats when he wakes up. Please make to not make him work so much or else the same thing will happen again"

I was relieved. "Oh, thanks Doc "

"Anytime miss Houghton"

"Liar liar pants​ on fire " I talked to him even though he was sleep.

"You could've just said bae my body hurts way earlier this morning "

I went to get a comforter for him and I draped it around him. Lucky for him my daddy got ac in the house. I know . He bouje too.

"Goodnight stupid " I kissed his cheek before going up to my room.

Next day
I know August knocked out on me on the couch.. down the hall. So please explain to me why i'm feeling his arms around me when I wake up in the morning.

"Good morning sleepy head"

"Mhmm next time don't leave me on the couch" I turned my head to watch him "what was I supposed do ? Carry you up ?"

He scoffed "yes"he said in a duh tone. I rolled my eyes .
"I messaged Cha yesterday for you're pills. Doc said you gotta take em after you eat so let's get to it."

"Naaw let's stay a while longer" he whined pulling me closer to him. I rolled my eyes. "Too bad , I got a hair appointment due for 11 and it's already minutes to 10"

"What's wrong with your hair ?" He looked confused. "Baby my hair needs to wash and be done nicely"

He shrugged "Looks fine to me "

"Men"

"Women" he mocked me.

"Anyways while I'm out you better be relaxing . Before I leave tonight you better be in good condition" I said getting up and heading to the bathroom.

"Uh correction you mean when WE got tonight" he yelled from the bed.
"Babe you're not in perfect condition to go , I don't want you blacking out on me at the party "

"I thought it was a family thing "

"I told you those things are rather to be called parties "

"Listen bae how bout this I'll relax all day and if I feel good I go and if I don't I stay" he tried to compromise. I rolled my eyes and sighed.

"Fine"
