~Lucy's POV~

" Father. "I spoke, catching the attention of Jude after the Eucliffes' had left." Your meeting went well I hope. "
" Yes, extremely well. None of the information shall concern you. "he stated bluntly. I had only nodded, not finding a place to pry, especially with him." Remember what we agreed upon, Lucy. "With that he left to his study.
Now I had to meet with Natsu. Him coming here was not doing me good with me... I personally don't wish to befriend them. They honestly could do better without me. But it seems there's no way out of their friendship. It was as if being trapped in hot blanket, you push and kick to be free but it holds on, trapping you. The blanket was so warm though, made me sweat.
I sighed as I stood where I was, resisting the action of walking in the direction Natsu and Loki had... Loki!
I limped my way down a narrow-ish hall, doors at the sides that were spaced out greatly. I knew where they had probably gone, which was the living room, or entertainment area.
I was correct as I slowly opened the door to it, sighing to them playing billiards (pool).
" Hey Luce! "Natsu grinned widely, I only waved as I leaned on the frame of the door way. I didn't want to move, my ankle hurt so much I felt like it was breaking and I was going to fall any second.
" Natsu, your turn. "Loki stood up straight and Natsu got into position for his shot.
I forced myself to the couch, quickly so they didn't see so I wouldn't get asked. I sat there, watching them, though it was a bit hard to.

~Nobody's POV~

" YES, FINALLY WON!! "Natsu cheered after like the third game he played with Loki.
" Yeah, so can we be done now? "Loki sighed, putting up his pool stick upon the stand. He wasn't being sour against the loss, only because he let him win so they could be done.
" Luce? "Natsu questioned, walking over to her. She was silent, eyes closed as she leaned against the arm of the cough. Her formal appearance making her look like a modern, sleeping princess. He sighed in content, pushing the strands that hang from her bun behind her ear.
Loki jumped hearing the doorbell of the massing echo." I'm be right back. "he spoke before walking out to check who it was.
Natsu nodded before he went and stared back at Lucy." Hey, Luce. "he shook her shoulder lightly, trying to wake her gently." Luce. "
Her eyes slowly opened, her brown iris' jumping to his direction." Natsu? "she yawned.
" The one and only. "he grinned, taking his hands from her shoulders.
" Where's Loki? "she asked, rubbing her eye lightly. Natsu chuckled a little as she sounded and looked like a small kid, even through her fancy attire.
" Loki left just a bit ago, he'll be back. "he assured, patting her head. She yawned again." How much sleep did you get? "
" I don't know. "she rested her head on the arm of the couch.
" Hey, no falling asleep. "he warned, poking her cheek. She hummed in annoyance, wiggling her body for comfort." Luce-"
She looked up at him as he stopped, his hand pulling away from the poking of her cheek. He wasn't looking at her, so she turned to where he was eyeing.
" Zeref? "she questioned.
" Hey Lucy, how have you been doing? "Zeref asked, making his presence.
" I'm doing just fine. "she smiled." What brings you here? "
" I came to speak with you specifically, but I had no clue Natsu was here. "Zeref crossed his arms at his younger brother.
" I wanted to see Luce, I hadn't seemed her today or yesterday. "Natsu stated, standing straight.
" Don't fret, I'm not going to tell you to leave or anything. "Zeref sighed, putting down his arms." But you had mom worried since you didn't go home right away. "
" I'll call if it makes you feel better. "Natsu slipped into his docker's pocket for his phone, slipping out into his hands. He slowly walked out as he dialed the number of his mother.
Zeref turned to Lucy when Natsu had left the room completely.
" Where's Loki? "Lucy asked, looking around.
" I'm not really sure, but... "he sat down by Lucy as she sat up straight." I heard what happened yesterday. "
" Yeah, sprained my ankle... What joy! "she spoke sarcastically, forcing a nervous grin.
" Don't be playing dumb Lucy, I meant I heard about yesterday and Jude. "he sighed, messing up his black hair." Loki only told me, he didn't want to tell the others. But that was only because I'm not one to barge into his office and confront Jude. "
Lucy hung her head, looking down at her lap." Loki told you? "she questioned, her voice low.
" Yes, but don't blame him for trying to help. He only wants what's best for you, and so do all of your friends. "
" I know, but I just don't wish to get them involved. "she rubbed her arms.
" Lucy, what happened in America? "he asked suddenly making her quickly look up at him." Loki was hesitant on America and only said that was when everything turned in chaos. "
Lucy only sighed." That all started back during freshman year. "she spoke, hesitant.
" Please tell me what happened, Lucy. "he begged, taking her hands into his. She took a deep breath, knowing she had no choice when it came to Zeref.
" I was a target for bullying at the Academy I went to, Raven Tail Academy. "she began." At first it was simple pranks between friends I had, it was fun. They were awesome people who I talked to often, they were also the children of people fatherand  mother had worked with. Once I became a Junior the simple pranks turned into notes ending up in my locker, mostly threats, but I wasn't one to let it get to me. My friends started to get more personal, and that's when it began to hurt. But everything changed during the middle of Sophmore year. I get a love letter and he wanted me to meet him, I did and he was so kind and wonderful. I decided to become friends with him since I wasn't looking for a relationship, he wasn't to happy about that and neither were the ones I called friends at the time. The threats became more and more personal, and I had rumors and gossip flying around about me being some whore or a bitch. Soon enough, I was being ignored by everyone. But the rumors spread to the parents, father wasn't too happy but he supported me at first same with mom. But then mother died and he began to ignore me as well. I became mute for awhile, but then they stopped and began beating me. I had no clue what to do, the simple of pulling hair turned into threats with pocket knives. I was so scared everyday I had gone to school. My friends betrayed my trust and it felt as if everyone was out to get me, I hated it so much. But then-"she stopped, noticing her breathing became fast and tears were slowly sliding down her cheeks as she hung her head. Zeref put a hand over hers, letting her warm tears drop on it." It was only the last week of school before the summer, only three more days left. At the end of the day I was suddenly yanked back and I was dragged down by the men's restroom that not many people used. I was thrown into the last stall and they locked it so I was in there for what seemed like hours. I was tired, cold, hungry. The stall door opened sooner or later to the guy who had sent me the love letter and a girl I had called my best friend. I couldn't believe what had happened next, before I knew it... I was-I-I.... She even took pictures.... "
Lucy slapped her hands over her eyes and began to cry. Zeref sighed, not needing her to say anymore. He hugged her and let her cry in his chest, taking her hair out of the bun with his long fingers.
" It's alright, you've said enough. "he soothed, stroking her hair.
