9. Normality
I stare at the ocean,
bare feet in the sand,
wind blowing through my hair
Tide comes up and goes
Trapped in it's circulation,
I wish for it to be free
I lock eyes with a siren
She starts to sing her song
Her voice is soothing,
longing for my attention
It always goes like this.
It is until a bird flies over
I stand up and leave.
