Maybe all this was
just some twisted dream
an alternate reality
a parallel universe

None of this could
have happened
It just feels so unreal

But then I see pictures
and smiles and paperboats
and memories and good times
and friendship and love
and all that proves me wrong

Yet there is this
emptyness in my soul
left by a dream
I have just awakened from.
