Hello, everyone!

First of all, I want to thank everybody for waiting so patiently for the first chapter of my new series, From Smoldering Ashes to Rising Flames! It will debut this Saturday at or before 6pm CST.

However, I do want to give a fair warning to you all. Although this will not be an explicit work, it will be dealing with heavy themes (e.g., mental illness and everything that comes with that). I will place a warning at the beginning of chapters that could be especially triggering for some, but please keep in mind that, with this statement, I am essentially placing a trigger warning for the entire book.

Despite this, I want to make it clear that this is a hopeful story. As a Christian, I believe in Light and Dark, Good and Evil, Life and Death (both literal and metaphorical). I would be remiss if I did not include these battles---two sides every single person has to face and choose from---in this story. Please be aware that there is darkness, but by the end of this book, the light will triumph.
