P.O.V. Third

King was sitting beside his white haired lover looking at a small piece of paper. "I still don't get it," King said as he looked at the problem in front of him.

"It's simple, look I'll show you again," Weiss said as she worked out another problem. "Now you try," Weiss said looking at the male beside her. King nodded hearing this and then looked at the problem in front of him. A few moments of silence then passed and King looked at Weiss. "Is the answer forty-seven?" King asked as he looked at Weiss.

Weiss nodded with a smile hearing this and looked at him. "Do you understand it now?" Weiss asked looking at the male.

"Not really, but thanks for the help," King said as he looked at the female. The two then heard the door behind them open and turned to see a familiar blonde figure looking at them.

"Ms.Goodwitch? How can we help you?" Weiss asked as she looked at the elder blonde in front of her.

"The headmaster would like to speak to you Mr. Schnee," Glynda said as she looked at the male in front of her. King was confused to hear this but nodded as he stood up.

"I'll be back," King said as he looked at Weiss. When he said this Weiss nodded and watched the white haired male walk away. King then looked at Glynda as she began to walk towards Ozpin's office. "What does the headmaster want?" King asked as he looked at the female in front of him.

"I don't know he did say," Glynda said as she stopped in front of the males office. "I'll leave the three of you alone," Glynda said as she began to walk away. When she said this King looked at the door a little confused. 

"Three?" King asked as he opened the door and a familiar red haired female on the other side. It seemed like Pyrrha had also been called to his office for some reason. When King walked over to the male Ozpin smiled and waited for him to take a seat. 

"Glad to see that you decided to come. Now that both of you are here I can finally tell both of you the truth. However before I do that, I'd like to ask the two of you something. What would you say your favorite legend is?" Ozpin asked looking at the two in front of him. 

The two were understandably confused but Pyrrha decided to answer the question nonetheless. "There are just so many different stories. However if I had to chose one, I'd say it was the tale of the four maidens," Pyrrha said as she looked at the elder male in front of her. 

Ozpin nodded hearing this and turned to look at King. "What about you? What's your favorite legend?" Ozpin asked looking at King. When he said this King had to consider the idea for a moment before looking back at Ozpin. 

"It's the legend of the Sion without a doubt," King said as he looked at the male in front of him. Ozpin smiled slightly hearing this and nodded. 

"Now there's something I need to tell the two of you. While several legends are indeed nothing but simply bedtime stories. These two stories that you two picked out, are true," Ozpin said looking at the two in front of them. 

The two were a little shocked hearing this and looked at the figure in front of them. "You're kidding right?" King asked as he looked at the male in front of him. 

"I'm afraid not, the four maidens and the Sion are indeed real," Ozpin said as he looked at the two in front of him. 

"Why are you telling us this?" Pyrrha asked as she looked at the male in front of her. "I'm sure there are more qualified people for the job than us, like official huntsmen. So why tell us of all people?" Pyrrha asked looking at the male in front of her. 

"The reason I'm telling the two of you are for very simple reasons. Pyrrha we'd like you to become one of the maidens for us," Ozpin said causing Pyrrha to look at the male in disbelief. "You want me to become a maiden?" Pyrrha asked looking at the male in front of her. 

Ozpin nodded hearing this and began to explain the situation he was in. "One of our former maidens was attacked and had part of her power stolen. I don't think it's necessary for me to explain how bad it would be if whoever did this managed to get their hands on the other half of the maidens power. So we want you to absorb her aura and become the next maiden," Ozpin said as he looked at the female in front of him.

When he said this King smiled slightly and began to laugh. "I get it, this is some kind of joke right? I'll admit I didn't take you for the type to have a sense of humor and play jokes like this. I'll admit you actually had me convinced for a moment," King said as he looked at the elder male in front of him. 

"I'm afraid this is no joke," Ozpin said as he looked at the white haired male in front of him. 

"Sure it's not, what's next? You're going to tell me you want me to become the Sion," King said as he looked at the silver haired male in front of him. 

"There's no need for you to become the Sion, because you're already the Sion. In fact you've been the Sion for years, fifteen if you want to be exact," The male said as he looked at King. When he said this King seemed shocked at first before falling back into his denial. 

"Me the Sion? You're kidding right? I'm a protegee sure but I believe I fall short of being the Sion," King said as he looked at the silver haired male. 

"Because you're blood hasn't fully awakened yet. Just like with the maidens there are rules that need to be followed for not only receiving the power but also awakening it. You are the Sion, think about it, has there really never been a time in your life when you thought something was off with your power?" Ozpin asked looking at the male in front of him. 

When he asked this King tensed up slightly and remembered the day he had met Weiss. The day they had been kidnapped and taken hostage. The day that they should have died, but didn't. Because he suddenly felt stronger and just reacted instead of thinking about what he wanted to do. Ozpin saw the males reaction and looked at King. 

"Tell me King, do you remember someone by the name of Rain?" Ozpin asked looking at the male in front of him. When he said this King once again tensed up however unlike last time King wasn't sure why. As far as he knew he never met anyone with that name. 

"Rain," King repeated more to himself than for the others and as soon as he did he felt a sharp pain in his head. King then remembered a male with long purple hair and silver eyes. King's eyes then widened as all the memories suddenly came flooding back to him. 

"How could I have forgotten someone so important?" King asked his eyes wide as he remembered everything he had been through with the male as well as his apparent reason for hating Beringel. 

"I see, so it was as I thought," Ozpin said as he looked at King. When he said this the white haired male looked at him a little confused. "It would seem as if Jacques gave you the repression dust to repress those specific memories. I'm not sure why but now that you know I'm sure you have your own feelings about this situation," Ozpin said as he looked at the male in front of him. 

King didn't answer hearing this and looked at the male in front of him. "I'm . . . I'm going to leave," King said as he stood up from the chair he was sitting in. When he said this Ozpin nodded and looked at the male in front of him. 

"Please return when you have managed to clear your mind. I also trust that you won't tell anyone about this," Ozpin said as he looked at King. 

"I'm telling Weiss," King said without hesitation and looked at Ozpin. "I love her, and it's my job to protect her," King said as he looked at Ozpin. 

"I can not stress how-" Ozpin began as he looked at the male in front of him only to get cut off by King. 

"This is not up for debate. I'm telling her regardless of what you think. Whether you support me or not is up to you," King said as he began to walk away. Ozpin sighed hearing this and looked at Pyrrha as he walked away. 

King then began to walk down the halls of Beacon and opened the door to his dorm to see that Weiss was still doing some of the homework that they had been assigned. Hearing the door open Weiss turned to look at the male and smiled seeing him. 

"So what did the Headmaster want?" Weiss asked looking at the male in front of him. 

"It's . . . complicated," King said as he walked over to the female in front of him. Weiss was a little confused hearing this and turned away from the papers in front of her to look at the male in front of her. 

"Do you want to talk about it?" Weiss asked looking at the male hoping he'd tell her what had him so distracted. King nodded hearing this and walked beside the female and began to sit beside her. 

"I already decided that I was going to tell you this even if I did find out just a few minutes ago. I don't want to keep something like this away from you, so I'm going to warn you it's a lot to take in," King said as he looked at the white haired female. 

When he said this Weiss reached forward and cupped his hands in her. "Just remember that no matter what happens, I will always be here for you," Weiss said giving the male in front of her a kind smile. King smiled feeling a little better about his situation before he looked up at the female. 

"I was just told that I'm the Sion," King said as he looked at the white haired female in front of him. Weiss looked at him a little shocked hearing this and looked at him. 

"The Sion? As in the Sion from the story?" Weiss asked looking at her brother causing the male to nod. "I see . . . and how do you feel?" Weiss asked looking at the male in front of her. 

"I'm not sure, I mean it's great that it turns out I've been this incredibly powerful person all this time yet at the same time if others find out then they might try to hurt you and . . . I don't know what I'd do if something happened to you," King said as he looked at his sibling. 

Weiss smiled hearing this and moved one of her hands to have King look at her in the eyes. His warm amethysts meeting her icy sapphires. "King, no matter what happens . . . even if I do get hurt. I just want you to know that no matter what . . . I will always love you," Weiss said as she leaned forward and connected their lips in a sweet kiss. 

King smiled hearing this and pulled the female into a hug. Weiss was a bit thrown off by this but returned his gesture when she realized what he was doing. When the two separated King looked at Weiss and smiled. 

"There was something else as well, but this one doesn't surprise me as much," King said as he looked at the female in front of him. Weiss looked at him ready for what he was once again about to say and once again offered him a kind smile. 

"The memories that your father had me repress . . . they just came back. He . . . he wanted me to forget about someone important to me. Someone who took me in and cared for me when I had nowhere else to go. He was the most important person in my life before I met you," King said as he looked at his sister. 

"I see," Weiss said as she looked at the male in front of her. "That . . . that must make you angry," Weiss said as she looked at the male in front of her. 

"A bit, but in a weird way I'm glad he did it," King said as he looked up at Weiss. "After all if he hadn't then I never would have fallen for you," King said as he looked at the female. Weiss smiled hearing this and hugged the male. 

"Guess my father finally did something right for a change," Weiss said as she began to cling to male slightly. As much as it mat have bothered her to admit it, she did had loved King for a long time. Her feelings became more than apparent to her just a few years after he had begun to live with her. 

"King . . . I . . . I love you . . . You know that right?" Weiss asked looking at the male in front of her. King nodded warmly as he looked at the female in front of him. Weiss then got up still holding King's hands and began to take him over towards her bed. 

King followed her and the two began to lay down on the bed together. "I don't want to do anything right now. I just . . . I want to stay like this with you for a while," Weiss said as she moved closer to the male in front of her. 

"Weiss, I love you," King said as he leaned forward and kissed the females head. Weiss smiled hearing this and leaned forward nuzzling herself into the males chest. 

"I love you too, you dunce," Weiss said with a smile, as she did she couldn't help but think about how many people had what they had. Even if her father didn't agree with what they were doing, not that she planned on telling him to begin with. Then she thought about how hard it must have been for the others that wanted to be together but couldn't for some reason.

As she thought about this unknown to her a female with pink and brown hair was walking into the building that she was unfortunately forced to call home. Neo then walked into the room with Emerald in it wearing her necklace that Ace had given her. "Emerald, I have some great news!" Neo said as she looked at the green haired female in front of her. When she said this Emerald looked at the male in front of her a bit surprised.

"Neo your voice . . . you can," Emerald began only for the female in front of her to cut her off.

"I know, it's this necklace, it has some kind of dust gem or something that allows me to talk, but that's not what's important at the moment. What's important is who gave me this necklace. IT WAS ACE!" Neo said as she looked at Emerald.

A few moments of silence then passed between the two Neo was a little confused seeing Emerald's reactions. She thought Emerald would be excited to hear that her brother was alive yet she just seemed indifferent to the fact. 

"I know Neo," Emerald said looking away trying to avoid the females gaze. 

"You knew he was alive? When did you find out?" Neo asked looking at the female in front of her. 

"About a week ago," Emerald said as she looked at her best friend. "Remember when I said the building was raided by two huntsmen in training? Well Ace was one of them and he was with that King guy," Emerald said as she looked at her best friend and Neo was admittedly a little angry hearing this and looked at the green haired female in front of her. 

"You found out that long ago and didn't tell me! Did you even try to talk to him?" Neo asked looking at Emerald. When she said this Emerald once again looked away from the female trying to avoid her gaze. 

"No, he was trying to talk to me though. I was hoping that if I ignored him that he'd stop searching for me," Emerald said as he looked at the female in front of her. Neo was once again upset hearing this and looked at Emerald. 

How could she do this to her of all people. If it was Cinder, Roman, or even Mercury she would understand but her? She was her best friend, they had known each other since they were kids. Neo thought she was the one person she wouldn't hide anything from yet she hid something this huge from her. 

"I can't believe you!" Neo said letting her emotions get the better of her. "I thought we were friends! How could you! You knew Ace was alive and looking for us and you didn't say anything! What's wrong with you! Why would you keep something like this from me!" Neo said as she looked at her friend. 

"Because there's still Salem and Cinder to think about!" Emerald said as she looked at Neo. When she said this the female was taken back slightly and she looked at Neo. "I wanted to talk to him! I wanted to tell him everything that happened to us after he disappeared! I wanted to tell him you were still alive! I wanted to but I knew I couldn't!" Emerald said a small amount of tears beginning to build up in her eyes before she looked at the ground. 

"Cinder's done so much for us over the years, and I don't want Ace to fight someone like Salem. If I stayed with them at least I have a chance to get on their good side so that he might be spared the fate Beacon's going to face. You know as well as I do that there aren't that many people that can fight a monster like Salem. I don't think Ace could fight someone like her even if he was prepared," Emerald said as she once again looked away from. 

"Not to mention that even if he did do you really think he'd forgive us? We've done so many horrible things to innocent people, and for what? Just to benefit someone else in their own quest for power. That's not what Ace would want to hear. He wouldn't have wanted us to have become murders," Emerald said as she looked at the female in front of her. 

Neo sighed hearing this, and sat beside Emerald. As mad as she still was at the female she knew she was right. Even if Ace had spent his life training to be a huntsmen unless he spent it training specifically to defeat Salem she didn't think he had a chance of beating her. 

"What about King?" Neo asked as she looked at the female beside her. When she said this Emerald looked at her a little concerned. "You said they were friends right? He was the other one with Ace when he raided the base right? What about him? We met him before remember?" Neo asked as she looked at the green haired female. 

"I know but even so, do you really think he'd be able to help?" Emerald asked as she looked at the female in front of her. 

"I don't know, but . . . I think he's our best bet. You heard what Salem said before she came here. It sounded like the only reason she wasn't coming here herself was because of King. She even admittedly that she didn't ever want to fight King. I . . . I think she's scared of him," Neo said as she looked at the female. 

The room was once again filled with silence hearing this and Emerald looked at Neo. Now that she thought about Salem's voice was a bit off when she was explaining her plan to Cinder. It seemed to waver slightly when she mentioned "the Sion" and that he might be attending Beacon. 

"She might be, but even so. Now that he knows what we're like, I don't know if he'd help us. Remember he's technically a member of Schnee family and what better way to boost their reputation than bringing in two criminals," Emerald said as she looked at Neo. 

Another silence then passed over the two and Neo looked at Emerald. "So what do you want to do?" Neo asked as she looked at Emerald. 

"I don't know, I . . . I'd like some time to think about it," Emerald said as she looked at the female in front of her. Neo nodded hearing this and stood up from the bed she had been sitting on. 

"Yeah," Neo said as she began to walk away from Emerald. "Me too," Neo said as she walked out of the room shutting the door behind her and walking down the halls of the building she was in. She had so many mixed emotions about the situation she was in. 

She knew that Emerald was right and that they couldn't just suddenly switch sides without a plan. That would do nothing but put a big target on their backs. She was of course happy to know that the male she thought was dead was still alive, but sad that she couldn't speak to him, and like Emerald she was afraid. 

She just found her long lost friend, and now because they were on opposite sides she was afraid that she might lose him again or even worse that she might be forced to fight him because of what was bound to happen or that she may even end up having to kill the male just because of what she had done.

She was also somewhat embarrassed that Ace was still carrying a small torch for her after all these years. Neo then felt her stomach start to turn slightly and her heart speed up. She then reached up placing a hand over her heart to try and calm it to no avail. 

It was true that she had a crush on the male when they were young but now it was different. Would he still accept her, even after everything she had done? She was just so confused having all these mixed feelings inside of her. She like Emerald wanted to act on her feeling yet also knew that she couldn't. 

Neo then used her semblance to cast her disguise over herself and walked out of the building. She wanted to talk to Emerald about their situation, yet because of her feelings she wanted to give herself some time to calm down that way she didn't say anything she'd regret later. She didn't want to lose her best friend after all, especially if she didn't have to.
