Chapter 0: Prologue
P.O.V. Ozpin
I yawned as I walked down the streets of a small town. I was here because I had gotten a letter from an old friend. A former huntsmen that has given up on hunting to open a small restaurant. However in his letter he said that he becoming a huntsman again and that he wanted to see me.
If nothing else I'll get to eat some of his food again. He was the best cook I had ever met. So it does make since that he would open a restaurant. When I reached the town I began to look for him. I continued to walk until I saw the male that I had been looking for.
Long purple hair and green eyes, I walked up to him seeing this and he smiled. However I noticed a small figure behind him. A young male white pure white hair and bright purple eyes, was hiding behind him and holding onto his coat.
"Who's the kid?" I asked looking at him.
"Oh," Rain said as if he just remembered something. Most likely that I had never met the child before. He then put one hand behind King and slowly moved him in front of him. "Ozpin I'd like you to meet King," Rain said looking at me.
"I see, so you had a child?" I asked looking at the male in front of me slightly confused. I find it strange that someone that i considered a friend and sent me messages regularly never mentioned that he met someone, or that he had a kid.
"In a manner of speaking," Rain said standing to his full height. "He's something like my adoptive son," Rain said looking at me.
"I see," I said as I turned my attention to the child for a moment before looking back towards Rain. "So what is it you wanted to discuss with me?" I asked looking at Rain.
"Oh well it's about King actually," Rain said as he looked down at the white haired male. I sighed hearing this and was about to speak however Rain managed to speak before me and what he said next left me a little shocked. "King is this generation's Sion," Rain said with full confidence.
"A-are you sure?" I asked trying to confirm what I had just heard. After all a Sion is certainly something to talk about and if what he says is true it's no surprise that he didn't mention why he didn't want talk to me. It would have been far better and safer to talk in private about what to do next.
"Yes," Rain said with full confidence. I was shocked that we had actually managed to find the Sion. After all it's hard to tell a Sion from a regular person but since he's young, I guess it would be much easier to tell.
"So what makes you so sure?" I asked as we began to walk down the streets.
"Well to be honest I had no idea until about a month ago. We were walking to another town to get more supplies for the restaurant. On the way back we were attacked by a few Grimm. Most of them were nothing I couldn't handle, however as the fight progressed a nevermore appeared. It almost killed me and King just snapped, a scythe appeared in his hand and he just started attacking the Nevermore," Rain explained looking at me.
"So you saw his power first hand?" I asked looking at him.
"Yeah, it was amazing to see someone as young as him move and react the way he did," Rain said as we continued down the street.
"I see, even so someone as young as him shouldn't know how to access that sort of power," I said as we continued.
"I thought the same thing but when I questioned him about this, he said he only gained this power after his friend passed away. He said as he was fighting he suddenly felt much stronger and he just knew what to do," Rain said looking at me.
"If that's the case then it's possible that his fighting ability is also a byproduct of the Sion's power," I said walking down the street. "So I assume you became a huntsman again to help him train," I said as I turned my attention to him. When I did he nodded and I smiled. "I thank you for telling me this," I said looking at him.
"Of course," Rain said looking at me.
"I know it's a little early to think about which huntsman school to send him to but if he does go to Beacon I'd be glad to have him," I said looking at my old friend.
"Yeah, and to be honest I was going to let him chose which school he wanted to attend," Rain said looking at me. I nodded in understanding hearing this and looked at him.
"I see, well either way my offer stands," I said looking at him. I then reached the end of town and looked at him. "Well I suppose, I should leave, after all this is my first year of being Headmaster of Beacon," I said looking at him. He nodded when I said this and gave me a small box.
I looked at the box for a moment and then back to him. "Can't travel on an empty stomach," he said looking at me. I smiled when he said this and looked at him.
"I hope to see you again soon" I said as I began to walk away.

Rain and King were at the moment walking down the streets of the town. They watched as several people walked out of the town. "Why's everyone leaving?" King asked as he looked up at the much taller figure in front of him.
"A large group of Grimm have been spotted close by recently," Rain said as he looked at the young male. "We will leave as well but for now I want to make sure others get out safely," Rain said as the two continued down the street. "You got your stuff right King?" Rain asked looking down at the male.
King nodded when Rain asked this and the two continued to walk down the streets. The two then walked into the small building that they lived in and Rain looked at King. "King, I need to talk to you for a moment," Rain said looking at him. When he said this he over to King and looked at him.
"I know you probably don't want to hear this or even think about this, but what I'm about to tell you is very important so I need you to listen," Rain said looking down at the young figure. When he did King nodded and Rain took a breath before he continued.
"King, if something ever happens to me, if for whatever reason I . . . if I die, I want you to head to one of the four kingdoms. I don't care which one just make sure that you get there okay," Rain said looking at King.
The young male was more than shocked to hear this but nodded nonetheless. "Good," Rain said as he stood up. "Then get ready, we'll leave in a few hours," Rain said as he looked at King. Hearing this King nodded and got the small bag that he had in his room.
True to his word a few hours passed and they were walking through the town one last time to make sure that everyone had left. Not seeing anyone Rain sighed and looked at the young figure beside him. "Alright, looks like everyone's gone, let's leave," Rain said as the two began to walk down a small path that lead away from the town.
The two walked down the path peacefully. Nothing seemed to be wrong until they heard a few low growls. Rain looked around hearing this and saw a few glowing red eyes. When he saw this he put his hand in front of King and pulled out a sword.
"Stay behind me King," Rain said as he moved forward and began to attack the Grimm. King watched with a smile as he watched the male defeat the Grimm. However unknown to the two, one Grimm had managed to get passed Rain.
A large Beringel stared at King for a few seconds before he jumped forward and hit the young male. When he did King was sent across the path and hit a tree. Hearing something behind him Rain turned to see a Beringel staring where King was standing and looked over to see King laying on the ground.
Rain immediately moved in front of the Grimm and held up his sword. This one seemed to be a little large than most as well as have more armor than usual. 'Seems like this might be older than most which means if I move he may go after King,' Rain thought to himself as he stared at the Grimm.
Rain then heard King Groan and some relief filled him. 'He's alive and still conscious, that's good,' Rain thought as he stared at the Beringel. However his relief soon ended as the Grimm ran towards him.
Wanting to protect King Rain moved forward as well and began to attack the Grimm. It had no effect due to the Grimm's armor. The Grimm then grabbed Rain and threw him against a tree. Rain looked up and saw the Beringel staring at King.
Seeing this his eyes widened and he once again dashed forward. As he did the Beringel swung down to hit King. However it's attacked was stopped by Rain, putting his sword up to stop the attack.
However the Beringel was much stronger than Rain and shattered his sword. Rain was shocked to see this but didn't stop as he looked at the small amount of sword he still had left and jumped forward.
When he did he took the small blade that he had left and pushed it into the Grimm's eye. When he did the beast let out a cry of pain and hit Rain. This sent Rain into the same tree that King had hit.
When he fell to the ground King slowly opened his eyes. "Hey, King," the small child heard Rain call out to him. King smiled hearing this and turned to look at the male. However his smile quickly faded when he saw what condition Rain was in. He was breathing heavily and covered in blood. "Are you okay?" Rain asked looking at the male.
"Y-yeah," King said as he looked down at the male. Rain then smiled and looked at him. "That's good, I'm so happy," Rain said he closed his eyes and his body went limp. The male's body then disappeared turning into small green balls of aura.
King was shaking seeing this and tears started to roll down his face. King then heard a low growl behind him and turned to see the Beringel looking at him. King's eyes widen in anger, and unknown to him his white hair started to glow an even bright shade of white.
Then like before he felt a sudden surge of strength and a scythe appeared in his hand. He then lunged towards the Grimm, not seeing the child as much of a threat the Grimm swung at him. When it did King became covered in a pure white almost clear aura before he disappeared.
King reappeared on the other side of the Bergingel, and the damage was visible almost instantly as the Grimm's fingers fell off then it's wrist fell off followed by its forearm, then its elbow and its bicep. Despite the Grimm's arm being almost completely covered in arm it had all be sliced cleanly through, it was just like before his body instinctively knew what to do.
The Grimm let out another cry of pain feeling this, and King then started to dash around the Beringel, leaving behind a cut each time he did. It was obvious that he wasn't trying to kill the Grimm at the moment he was focused on trying to inflict as much pain as possible. King could barely see through his tears as he moved around the beast.
Yet somehow his body was still able to react to everything that the Grimm did. Then with one final swing King brought his scythe down on the Grimm, severing the Grimm's head from it's body.
When he did he stopped and felt his scythe disappear, and unknown to him his hair stopped glowing. King then fell to his knees and let his tears flow freely. What was he supposed to do now that he lost the only person who he ever had any kind of feelings for?
King then looked down the path that the two had been walking down. He stared for a few moments before he started to walk down the path. Remembering what Rain had told him earlier that day.
When he finally arrived at the next town he sighed and sat on the ground. He had no idea if he was in one of the four kingdoms or not. However even if he was that wouldn't help the way he was feeling.
As he sat the ground he gained several stares from several people passing by, of course most of them went unnoticed by the male. However unknown to him a figure had began to approach him. "Are you okay?" King heard a new voice ask. When he heard this he looked up to see who had asked him the question.
