i paid the uber driver and thanked her. i usually don't do ubers but i talked to the family and kb hasn't been out of bed since she got here and they were to scared to leave her alone just incase she try to do sum crazy to herself.

but i had a female Uber driver and i felt 100% more safe and she was really sweet we just had a friendly conversation to distract me.

rolling my suitcase i knocked on the door and her brother opened the door for me. i smiled and hugged him tightly cus he's like a brother to me.

"hey sis come on in.. kb in her room and won't come out" he said.

"thank you kaleb" i smiled as i set my suitcase down and he nodded.

i went to kb's room and i knocked lightly just cus the manners are there. she didn't answer so i knocked again and she said nothung ik she was in there so i just went in.

"kb" i said lightly. she was in bed with a hoodie covering her face and she was under the covers.

"kb" i said again getting into bed beside her. i pulled the cover from over her head making her groan.

"girl ion care about yo attitude, you heard me knock and call yo name."

"ion wanna talk" she mumbled.

"but you need too. this ain't healthy dawg. you been in this bed for 3 days.. you haven't eaten you haven't-

"i just showered so don't try to play me like im dirty" she quickly interrupted.

"girl ian even say nun. the point is you been in this bed for 3 days. you need to eat kb" i said.

"i can't." she mumbled.

"okay well what's wrong ? you can talk to me and tell me how you feel right now" i said.

"idk i have mixed emotions, my mom was a horrible mom but i still loved the women. what am i supposed to do now ? im so use to having her and even tho she wasn't the best she listened to my problems and took me into her arms" she said making me nod.

"i understand what you're saying but you don't have to feel guilty.. this is life and God has you covered. everything happens for a reason and yk that you still have me and my family".

"there's not a day that goes by where you can't call me or my mom when somethings wrong." i added.

"yeah i know" she mumbled.

"kb you spent more days at my house than your own. you already know how my family feel about you and you're like a daughter to my mom. you have her number stop being scared to call her. she ain't gone treat you no different from how she treat me and kiare" i said.

it's just crazy to me to me that kb is actually scared to call my mom and ask for help when she know how my mom feel about her.

we grew up together, we spent almost everyday with each other and my mom let kb call her mom it went from there.

"kb call her if you can't talk to me" i said. she sighed and picked up her phone calling her. it rang 2x.

"hey ma how are you ?" kb said.

"im good its been a minute i was starting to wonder if you forgot about me.. how are you i heard about your mom".

"i could never forget about you lol. that's why im calling im kind of struggling and i need someone like older to vent too are you free ?"

"ofc sweetie, im always here. spill the beans" she said making me smile and nod.

"imma be in the living room" i mouthed and she nodded.

i felt my phone vibrate and it was nalyssa calling making me smile & i quickly answered it.

"hey baby" i smiled.

"hey stink imyyy" she said.

"i miss you more love. wyd ?" i asked.

"nothing me and kelsey watching netflix. how's kb ?? she hasn't texted me back or answered my calls".

"she's okay.. but kaleb said that she hadn't come out of her room since she got here 3 days ago. she's really going through it but she's talking to my mom right now" i explained.

"how you doing ?" i asked kb.

"im okay better than when i got here. i think that venting and not being scared to ask for help really helped me" she said making me smile.

"im proud of you bookie and yk im here if you ever need me" i replied.

"i appreciate you twin. why didn't you come with jack ??"

"because kelsey surprised me and came to vegas i didn't wanna leave her here" i told her.

"bet, also i took yo shoes you just bought i hope you don't mind" kb said making me gasp and look in my shoe cubby where i saw my brand new shoes gone.

"aight heffa, the nerve" i said as we laughed.

"jack says hey" she said.

"hey bookie" i said so she could hear me.

"anyways don't be mad you stole my chain without asking" she said.

"yeah but it wasn't brand new. i haven't even got to wear them yet" i defended.

"well what's better than having your twin whom you love so very much wear em first ?? nothing exactly" kb said making jack giggle in the background.

"heffa" i mumbled.

"i can't believe i never noticed they were gone" i said shaking my head.

"yeah cus im like really sneaky" she smirked.

"yeah too sneaky for my liking. and don't get them dirty either" i told her.

"oh blah blah blah im not" kb said making me mug her.

"anyways have yall finished funereal arrangements ?" i asked.

"we have kb just has to finish printing out the obituaries" jack said.

"okay and what's the colors ?"

"black nb finna go through allat trouble tryna find a color." kb said.

"iktr. i got so much black in my closet" i said.

"ouu my mom can make rotel and meatballs for the repass" i added.

"ong tell ma too make that i love her rotel and her meatballs".

"when did you meet her mom ?" jack asked.

"when she stayed the night with me my mom and dad came" i said.

"and i haven't met them why ??"

"jack you don't even like people, i thought you wanted to wait until you were ready ian wanna push you" i said.

"well set it up boo im ready" she said making me smirk. she ain't really shy nomore and i love that.

"i can't wait to eat" kb said making me jackie giggle.

"lord, you right tho twin im ready too" i said.

"jack did you get it.. i sent you $200 on cashapp?" i said.

"yess but i told you ion care about yo money what's this for ?" she asked.

"cus i miss you. you should go get your nails and toes done or sum" i said.

"aww thank you baby. i really appreciate you. text me what color you want me to get your choice" she said and i nodded.

"ouu twin you is a trick girl i love it" kb said making me laugh.

"bye ntm, it's not tricking if im in love and she my wife" i defended.

"im tryna get like you my boy" kb replied.

"dang you could've sent me some money so i can go shopping, yk help with my depression" she said.

"kb please lol. i'll send you a lil sum sum twin" i said.

"preciate it gang" she smirked making me shake my head.

we continue to talk mostly about the funeral and the repass cus they didn't have that set yet & they only had a few people who was making food.
