**Author's Note:  I'd hoped to update this weekend, but things are moving slower than I anticipated. 

Still...I feel compelled to give you something so I hope this sneak peek will tide y'all by in the meantime.**

The door gradually pops open, my eyes inching toward the slowly appearing crack only to discover Hope fooling around with one of my favourite guitars, goofy grin lighting up her face as her hands create some of the most hideous sounds I’ve ever heard.  

I’m tempted to say something, anything to interrupt her private ‘concert', but the look of pure rapture and peace on her face stops me. Whatever anger I was feeling upon seeing her messing around my with favourite guitar ebbs away at the sight of her unbridled joy in creating what can only be described as a mangled, indiscernible jumble of noise.
