I woke up, my hair a mess. I looked in the mirror and groaned before looking to the clock.

SHIT!

I was gonna be so late! I had 10 minutes to get ready and get to school! Shit! Crap! FUCK! I quickly put my makeup on and brushed my hair, which took at least 5 minutes, urgh, curse my curls! I pulled on an old red t-shirt before remembering I'd be seeing The God again and pulled it off, putting on a nice blue top along with some designer jeans. I grabbed my bag and ran down the stairs. My mother laughed and gave me a piece of toast. I looked at the clock, 2 minutes. I could run. I put on my heels (not a good idea) And rushed out of the door. Stephen was also late obviously, he was walking faster than usual, I stared at him while I was walking and didn't notice the stone in my way. I tripped over it and fell flat on my face.

Stephen laughed, I could hear him laughing. I just stayed there, now set on just dying on the spot. Then I felt someone's arms wrapping around my waist and picking me up to my feet. I looked up and saw Stephen, that lopsided smirk still on his face. "Th-thanks" I muttered, lost in his green eyes.

He seemed lost for words for a minute too, we just stood there staring at each other.

"Er no problem" he said, breaking the silence and looking away. "I'll see you in science" he said quickly, rushing off to school.

I walked slowly as he rushed ahead, pouting to myself, I'd probably scared him off with my obsessive staring. I sighed and walked a little quicker, I was 4 minutes late for school by the time I'd gotten into registration.

I didn't have science today, good. I didn't want to humiliate myself further than I already had.

The day passed with no meaning to me, I doodled in all my jotters, little hearts with Stephen and I's initials in the middle. Fate made me fall.

Or maybe my staring at him made me fall.

Either way, I'd screwed up with my idiotic-ness from today and yesterday.

I went home. Ate. And slept soundly.
