"You're out of the Summer Troupe and the Mankai Company forever. That is that."

Tenma just stared at Izumi with a hurt expression.

"W-what...?"

"You heard me. I said what I said. Now get out of my sight."

Izumi turned her back on him and walked away.

Tenma stood there, his eyes getting watery. Without a second thought, he ran out of the theater and ran down the street, crying hard.

He stopped to catch his breath, sobbing uncontrollably.

Two women walked past him, whispering just loud enough for him to hear.

"That's Tenma Sumeragi, the former son of that famous actor."

"Yeah. Can't believe he disowned him. So sad."

Tenma froze. His parents would never disown him... right?

Not wanting to believe it, he took his out his phone and called his dad. What happened next shattered his heart.

"What do you want?"

"D-dad...? You didn't disown me... right...?"

"Of course I did. You were such a nuisance, it was easier to just kick you out and disown you. And don't ever think about calling me ever again. You're nothing to me."

After that comment, Tenma could do nothing but drop to his knees and cry there, his tears a raging river of sorrow.

"What... did I do...?" Was all he could say.
