Chapter 3 : After Seventeen Years... Realization Came

~Normal POV~

After 17 years... After the Grand Magic Games and all of the troubles they’ve caused, Fairy Tail gets their guild back and everything was back to normal. Natsu and Gray fight, Cana was drinking a barrel of beer, Erza was eating her strawberry cake, Gajeel was with Jet and Droy, Mira working with Kinana on the counter, and the others was having fun. Then Lucy came to the guild, holding a treasure box, which came from her mother.

~POV_Lucy Heartfilia~

“Hi Lucy!” Natsu greeted me and I waved hands at him as saying hi.

“Oi Natsu we’re not done yet!” Gray said to him and continued their fight. I walked to Levy who was writing her journal, Erza beside her and Mira-san was on the counter.

That’s unusual Natsu greeted me? While fighting with Gray???!!! I guess it’s nothing!!! Right?

“Lucy!” “Lucy!” “Lu-chan!” Three voices calling me and it were Erza, Mira-san and Levy-chan.

“Gommenasai! What is it about?”

“Well, you were thinking deeply, a minute ago and we tried you to snap out of it.” Levy-chan said.

“Oh was I? Sorry about that!” I said.

“Hmmm...” Mira-san was thinking and she smiled wickedly.

“Wha-what is it Mira-san?” I asked nervously.

“Oh nothing, you’ll figure out soon.” She said with a wink and went to serve the other members.

“Oh Lucy, by the way, what’s with that treasure box?” Erza asked.

“It’s from my mom, there were memories about my family and I decided to bring it here and want to see it.” I said.

“Oh, let’s open it now!” Erza said.

“Yeah! I want to know many from you Lu-chan!” Levy-chan said and Erza nods.

“Well, ok.” I said.

I opened the box and it glowed. Then a letter just popped out and I hold it. But there was so many precious treasures in the box and many family pictures, I spotted one picture. And shows that it was a family picture of dad, mom, me and a blonde girl about my mom’s age. I tried to remember who it was and I noticed the letter that was holding. Maybe it was a clue.

“Wow can we get this pictures for a closer look Lucy?” Erza asked.

“Sure!” I smiled. And get some pictures as I read the letter :

Dear Lucy Heartfilia,

I’m your aunt Victoria! Remember?! I’m a Celestial Dragon and I was training you about 5-7 years old. I was your mom’s younger sister, and I’m your aunt! Lucy, remember the days that we have training that you just have to be a Celestial Spirit Dragon Slayer? I was looking forward for your day that you’ll be a strong mage and I’m looking forward that you’ll be a Fairy Tail Mage. Me and Layla decided to train you as a Celestial Spirit Dragon Slayer and a Celestial Spirit Mage.

And I hope you’ll understand me that I put a spell you to forget me for ten years since I had to leave on July 7, X777. But the spell will wear off on ten years and you’ll be able to remember me again. And the times we had... I put you on a spell to forget me because you’ll be sad and miserable when you think about me leaving you... And by the way, have you already met Natsu Dragneel? Me and Igneel are good friends. Also the same with Metalicanna and Grandine. I hope you are already became good friends with their children before reading this letter.

Lucy, don’t ever think that you feel bad about this and I hope that you didn’t forgot my lessons I taught you when you were young... The basic spells, the healing spells, and the Secret Dragon Slayer’s Art. And looked in your mother’s treasure box, there are many pictures and writings in there and there are also the secret techniques in a document that I didn’t taught you when you’re young. And if you’re a Fairy Tail Mage now, I’m so proud of you Lucy! I hope we’ll meet again my precious Lucy...

After reading the letter tears streaming down my face and I remember her... Aunt Victoria and I remembered everything that I’ve forgotten. I’m sorry, aunt Victoria.

~POV_Natsu Dragneel~

I decided to go and look for Lucy. Then I saw her in the bar stool tears falling from her cute face as she was reading the letter. I ran to her and sat beside her.

“Lucy, what’s wrong?” I asked her.

“Natsu. Read this letter.” She said and handed me a letter.

“Lucy what’s wrong?” Erza asked.

“Lu-chan!” Levy said.

I kept quiet and read what’s in the letter and also mentions my name. Woah!

“Lucy! You’re a Celestial Spirit Dragon Slayer?!” I asked her. She nods.

“WHAT?!” Erza and Levy said.

“Oh my.” Mira said.

“Look everyone, read this letter.” I gave it to Mira, Levy and Erza. After reading it, they were shocked.

I don’t know what to do but I hugged Lucy.

“Lucy I’ll help you. To regain yourself as a dragon slayer.” I whispered.

“Arigato Natsu.” She whispered back.

“Ahem, mind if we would go to Master’s office to report all this.” Mira smirked at us and I removed my hug from Lucy and I offered my hand.

“Let’s go to gramps office Luce.” I said. And took my hand. Many are staring at the five us, especially me and Lucy. What’s wrong with them? What’s wrong that I’m holding her hand??? And why I feel like I’m complete when I’m with her. Neh, nevermind. It’s nothing something right?

~POV_Levy Mcgarden~

I saw Natsu holding Lu-chan’s hand and I giggled and blushed at the same time.

“What is it Levy?” Both Mira and Erza asked at the same time. I couldn’t say it but I point at Natsu and Lucy. And when they saw them they also blushed and smiled at the sight of it.

“Love is in the air...” Mira whispered.

“It sure is.” I answered and Erza nods.
