Author's Note :

I said on the last chapter that the title is gonna be Chapter 16 : The Star's Guidance but I changed mind and added, The Flame's Gratitude.

Okay, I made this chapter like 6 : 40 in the morning and ended in 8 : 45 in the morning so like two hors... >.< I know it's a little bit too early but... This is the last chapter! :P

I already made the Chapter 1 of Summoning Light and Darkness, BTW that's the sequel of this book, but now I can't remember where I save the chapter 1... -_________________- Maybe I'll update it next week if I saw it. ^_^

Chapter 16 : The Star’s Guidance & The Flame’s Gratitude

~POV : Dave Knight~

This is it... Finally Lucy arrived at my side, now the ceremony begins. The preacher started preaching. My heart was beating really fast. I waited for many years for Lucy plus the seven years that she and her friends had gone...

When I heard that they were back I immediately sprang into action to know some news about her. My heart break when I heard some bad news about her, I wanted kick their asses off especially that Minerva from Sabertooth. And also with that Salamander, she’s always with Lucy wherever she goes. I’m jealous with that part. But now, I proved him that she’s mine.

~POV : NORMAL~

Natsu continued sniffing for Lucy’s scent. I’m almost there, I’m almost there Lucy...

Natsu please hurry up!

Lucy was now terrified, if Natsu couldn’t arrive in time the wedding ceremony, he couldn’t stop the wedding and I’m stuck with Dave for life! *SNIFF* Wait a minute... *SNIFF* It’s him... He’s coming for me... On outside of Lucy’s body, tears fell from her eyes.

“Daijuobu Lulu?” Dave asked her and handed a handkerchief.

Lucy’s head nodded. She get the handkerchief and wiped her tears. Lucy kept praying silently while the preacher keeps preaching...

Meanwhile at Natsu...

*SNIFF* *SNIFF* *SNIFF* “Minna! The cathedral is there!” Natsu point to the cathedral and they all ran.

ALMOST THERE! The four of them thought as they were getting near to the cathedral.

“Does anyone who wanted to object these two of being together?” The preacher asked. All the people inside there were in silence.

“No... Objections??? Anyone???” The preacher said again all in silence. No! Lucy thought.

I am here...

Then people smell something burning. Suddenly the door of the cathedral was on fire, and before they could run. The fire was gone and the fog covers the faces of the four people that can be visible to the people inside the cathedral. The people murmured about this happening.

“I STRONGLY OBJECT THE WEDDING!” The one who was infront said.

Lucy turned around and she gasped. Her green eyes was now back to normal, and then the fog was now cleared away.

“Sorry I’m late, Lucy.”

 The four persons were revealed to be no other than Natsu, Wendy, Gajeel and Laxus with their stern expressions.

“Natsu!!!” Lucy immediately ran to him and hugged him.

“No, this can’t be! My plan!!!” Dave screamed to the air.

“The wedding is cancelled.” The preacher said and ran away using his magic.

“I will not forget you Natsu Dragneel, I will take my revenge on you!” Dave said and then he became big gigantic golem, that he destroyed the cathedral! From the once sunny day, but now the sky was gloomy. Then people already screamed and ran away from him, except for the five certain wizards who are going to attack him.

“Now it’s my turn.” Natsu moved infront of the four and faced Dave.

“But Natsu-“ Laxus said.

“No! We’re going according to the plan! Just help the other people evacuate first.” Natsu said back. The three of them nodded and ran away for other people to help. Lucy stood beside Natsu.

“What are you doing here Luce?”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Flash Back~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Laxus nodded in agreement with Natsu.

“And gramps told me that the guild master of Deathly Ghosts is, Dave Knight.” Natsu said and they gasped. Natsu nodded and closed his eyes.

“He made his guild seven years ago while we were in the Tenrou Island, and one of his objectives is...”

Natsu opened his eyes and said. “Is to capture Lucy.” Everyone’s eyes widened in shock.

“So I better be the one dealing with him, got it?” Natsu asked.

“Hai!”The three answered.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~End Of Flash Back~~~~~~~~~~~~~

“I’m fighting beside you.” Lucy said.

“No! It’s dangerous!”

“But Natsu, I have a plan!”

“What is it then?” Natsu brightens up.

Lucy came close to his ear and.... *WHISPERS*

Natsu nodded and move his first attack. “Karyu no Hoko!”

Lucy gets her keys. “I open thee, Gate of the Scorpion! Water Bearer! Scorpio! Aquarius!”

“Here we are.” Scorpio said and Aquarius was hugging him.

Lucy smiled. “Do you best on attacking that golem!” She pointed to Dave and the spirits then started using their elemental attacks. After the attack Lucy closed their gates and then summoned the next two gate keys.

“Loke and Capricorn, help me in fighting that one! Let’s go!” They followed her and then the three of them started attacking the golden golem. But it was only a little scratch on Dave’s golem body and the three of them were panting very hard. While Natsu was lying on the ground, unconscious.

“Lucy, we need to go back now, we’re wasting your magic.” Loke said to her and the two spirits were now back at their own world.

“Gate of the Lyric! Lyra!”

“Hello there Lucy-sama!”

“Lyra use your song to get Dave’s attention while I take care of Natsu first.”

“Ok, here goes nothing.” Lyra started to sing one of her longest songs. And the trick did work on Dave, he was now listening to her.

Lucy ran to Natsu. And she put her hands in position for her to heal him.

~POV : Natsu Dragneel~

Where exactly am I..? Why I feel like... Floating? I looked around to see white clouds everywhere.

“Hello is somebody there?!” I asked.

“Hellloooo!”

Then someone bumped my head. “Owww..” I scratched it.

“You baka! Turn around here.” That voice sounded familiar. I did turn around and saw Igneel!

“Igneel!”

“Natsu, I know we haven’t seen for many years but now it’s not the time to celebrate, I still have to teach you something.”

“Oh what is it?” I jumped up and down.

*SIGH* “Follow me on what I have to say. Flame’s desire.”

“Flame’s desire.”

“I call upon you thee...”

“I call upon you thee...”

“Hope, justice, peace and freedom.”

“Hope, justice, peace and freedom.”

“May you burn all the hatred...”

“May you burn all the hatred...”

“That it is within our hearts...”

“That it is within our hearts...”

“Great Flame’s Desire!”

“Great Flame’s Desire!”

“May you will be the one who will stop evil!”

“May you will be the one who will stop evil!”

“Now Natsu, you need this spell to perform with that Celestial Spirit girl, Lucy. I wish you luck!” Igneel vanished.

I opened my eyes and saw Lucy healing me. She then sat on the ground and saw me, her face brightened.

“Natsu... Are you okay now?”

“Yeah, and I met Igneel! He taught me a spell to perform with you, he said.”

Lucy puts her finger to her cheek and think for a moment. And then she snapped her fingers.

“Natsu! I got it!” She said and whispered to me. I kept listening to her and smirked.

“Yosh I’m all fired up!” I started sprinting with Lucy.

~POV : Lucy Heartfilia~

We arrived infront of Dave. Lyra now finished her song and she already returned to the Spirit World.

“Dave, stop right now or else!” I screamed at him.

“Why would I stop? I wouldn’t until you give up and live with me forever.”

“I...” Then Natsu patted my shoulder. He shook his head and moved infront of me.

“I’m not letting Lucy to live with someone like you! That’s why...” Natsu held me hand.

“We’re going to fight you!” We said in unison.

~POV : Natsu Dragneel & Lucy Heartfilia~

“We’re going to fight you!” We said in unison.

Natsu and Lucy stand into position. Natsu’s left hand hold onto Lucy’s waist, Lucy’s right hand onto Natsu’s shoulder. And their hands, fingers, tangled together. The two closed their eyes and bowed down their heads. Then a magic circle was shining below them with a warmth feeling in it. Their hair was rising above them because of the pressure below them.

Natsu and Lucy opened their eyes. Natsu’s eyes were in a flame shaped, while Lucy’s was in a shape of a star (Like when Lucy uses Urano Meteoria, some shapes were covering Lucy’s eyes). And they started chanting.

“Star dreamer...”

“Flame’s desire.”

“May your light be...”

“I call upon you thee...”

“Guide us away from the darkness of evil.”

“Hope, justice, peace and freedom.”

 “Lead us to the light of righteousness...”

“May you burn all the hatred...”

“And help us to protect our loved ones.”

“That it is within our hearts...”

 “O, Star Dreamer!”

“Great Flame’s Desire!”

“May your light shine upon us on merciful people!”

 “May you will be the one who will stop evil!”

And because of that one attack, Dave was now dead. The two separated and stumbled a little bit.

“N-Natsu? Did we really did it?” Lucy asked and she fell onto Natsu’s arms.

“Yes, we did it.” And he himself, lay on the ground hugging Lucy.

~POV : NORMAL~

The attack was very powerful, indeed the one who performs it must really waste a lot of magic.

The attack did hit the golden golem, and just in time, Laxus, Gajeel and Wendy were there to help Natsu and Lucy to go back to the guild.

As fast as a lightning, Laxus transported the five of them back to their own guild. And immediately brought the two to the guild’s infirmary.

Many hours past and still the two were sleeping soundly in their bed. Wendy also finished healing them and said that they need rest so that they could gain magic again. The whole guild patiently waited for the two to wake up.

The next day, Natsu was the first one to wake up.

“You’re awake dad, I’ll tell everyone, I’ll be back.” Wendy said. Natsu sat up and look at Lucy beside his bed. But then, Lucy groaned, Natsu chuckled.

Lucy sat up. “Oh, Natsu ohayo!”

“You have a nice dream didn’t you?”

“Yeah...” Lucy’s face saddened.

“What’s wrong?”

“It’s Dave, he died yesterday...”

Natsu looked at the window. “Yeah... But it was for his own good.”

“I know.” Then Natsu sat beside Lucy and kissed her. They pulled away when they heard the knock on the door.

“Hi mom! Dad! Everyone’s here!” Wendy ran up to them. And then the room was entered by Erza, Gray, Gajeel, Levy, Mira, Lisanna, Elfman, Laxus and Juvia.

“Welcome back!” They said.

“Thanks.”

Lucy let me help you up, and Gray help Natsu.” Erza commanded and help Lucy to stand up.

“Thanks Erza.” Lucy said and also Levy came to the other side of Lucy for support.

“Pssshhh help Natsu she say.” Gray murmured.

“Did you say something Gray?” Erza glared at him.

Gray gulps. “UhMM nothing Erza ehehe, come one Natsu! And you too Gajeel!”

“Why are you bringing me?” Gajeel scoffed. “Okay fine..”

And the two guys help Natsu. And all of them go downstairs.

“Hey everyone!” The two greeted them. And everyone looked at them.

“Welcome home!” They greeted back, Natsu and Lucy laughed. No more troubles and fightings... For now. They were back at their own home, the Fairy Tail Guild.
