It was another day in the Occult research club I was sitting with Koneko and Kiba the two of them understood where I came from neglected by parents and soon kicked out of the house. But later down the line Rias accepted me into her peerage reincarnating me as a devil. I didn't have the speed of Kiba nor the strength of Koneko or the magic power like akeno. "Hey Kiba." I said looking at him. "Something up (y/n)." Kiba said. "Do you think I produce results like you, Koneko, or akeno it's been a while since I joined this peerage." I said. "I can assure you will." Kiba said smiling at me. "Beside what make Rias want to kick you out the peerage." Akeno said. "Yeah you're right." I said looking at akeno but still I had my doubts.

Time went by as Rias came through the door with someone who I didn't know all I can tell he is in the same class as me. "I think there should be some changes." Rias said. "Changes." I said. "This is our newest member Issei when I reincarnated him he absorbed 7 chess pawn pieces but his sacred gear requires one more piece." As I felt a stinging pain in my chest seeing Rias' hand go through it pulling the last pawn piece making me cough up blood. "(Y/n)." Kiba said coming to me. "Don't even bother Kiba he was a weak piece anyways I only did it out of pity." Rias said as my eyes slowly closed.

Kiba pov

"Rias why you knew (y/n) didn't have anyone with him during those times." I said. "I know but still have to build my peerage to face him that is why I have to expell (y/n) from my peerage he is good as dead anyways." Rias said. "But still (y/n) was a part of this." Koneko said which surprised me seeing this was the first time Koneko showed emotion to anyone.

"Let's dump his body in the forest I'm sure nobody would even find him anyways and if you do go against me I won't hesitate to label you as a stray." Rias said as we had no choice. 'I'm sorry (y/n) I guess this is the last time we'll meet.' I said in my mind.

Third person pov

It's been hours since the dumping of (y/n)'s body in the forest. His body looking malnourished at this current point. Soon a hobgoblin riding a wolf found (y/n)'s malnourished body to which he screamed. "Gobta what happened." As the person who approached behind Gobta saw the neglected body the mysterious person. "Rigur there's no way a body like this would be in the forest right." Gobta said as Rigur felt the pulse of the unknown person. "His magicules are very low also this is no human but a devil a weak one at that." Rigur said. "A devil." Gobta said. "Let's take them back I'm sure Rimuru-sama will have a solution." Rigur said putting the unconscious body over his shoulder as the two rode back into the city.

Rigur pov

Me and Gobta soon made it back to the city most of the citizens concerned of the person over my shoulder. "Rigur what's going on." Rigurd said. "Is Rimuru-sama here." I said. "He should be in his office in a meeting but should be done very soon." Rigurd said. "I'll take them to one of our doctors." I said as I took him to one of our medical buildings.

I soon came in as the doctor took him off me as they place them into one of the rooms. 'Who ever you are let's hope you make a good recovery.' I said to myself as I walked out of the building. "You think they'll be ok." Gobta said. "It's been hours since we found them who knows how the recovery process will be but I can trust Rimuru-sama will have a solution." I said. "Rigur." I saw Rimuru-sama come up to me and Gobta. "Rimuru-sama." I said. "Rigurd told me about who you brought." Rimuru said. "Yes he's in one of the medical rooms." I said as Rimuru-sama also had his butler with him as well.

Readers pov

"Hey Hey you okay." I heard a voice my vision was a bit blurry as I soon looked they had blue hair with a butler next to him.

"Huh where am I." My voice still weak ever since the malnourishment. "You're in the hospital in the city." The person said. "Rimuru-sama it's like Rigurd mention his magicules are very low I suggest the doctors use the potions." His butler said as this rimuru person asked for one of the potions. One of the nurses came in with a vial filled with some blue liquid as they made me drink it as I shot up fully recovered with the hole Rias made finally gone.

"May I ask your name." This rimuru said. "My name is (y/n)." I said. "No last name." Rimuru said as I shook my head. "I've only been living with that name
ever since I was reborn into a devil even before that I was just a human with neglecting parents." I said. "You said you were a human before being reborn as a devil." Rimuru said as I nodded. "I am from a town known as Kuoh but my last master threw my body into the woods leaving me there to rot due to my lack of magical capabilities, speed, or even strength." I said. "I see they lack in a development trying to help there comrades get stronger." Rimuru said. "Even if I try I can't let out a simple magic ability." I said hugging my knees. "How about this I can set up a place for you and live in the city maybe you can also call me father as well." Rimuru said. "It's a bit awkward since we barely met and all." I said as rimuru gained their composure. "Though even if you don't have a last name why don't you take up my last name." Rimuru said. "Your last name." I said. "Rimuru Tempest." Saying their full name. "Then my full name would be (y/n) tempest." I said though does have a nice ring. I see rimuru then held out their hand as we shook on the agreement. "I'll repay you in some form for your hospitality Rimuru-san." I said. "But first I believe some food is in option there is a big feast happening tonight as well. Hope you can make it." Rimuru said. "Yes Rimuru-san." I said as I waited til that night.

It was slowly night I look out the window seeing people set up for tonight's occasion. I hear the door open revealing a woman with a singular horn along with purple hair in a ponytail while wearing a purple business like suit. "Are you (Y/n) Tempest." She said as I nodded. "I am Rimuru-sama's secretary shion Rimuru-sama want me to get you and give you some clothes as well." Shion said handing me a pair of clothes. She then left the room as I began to change into the new given clothes. I looked into the mirror seeing these new clothes I put on a little on the Kyoto vibes.

'A little too fancy for my taste.' I thought to myself as I walked out of the room with shion escorting me to tonight's feast and my god she wasn't lying.

The city was light up with wooden tables and food being made. 'Rimuru really knows how to make a feast be this lively.' I said as shion escorted me to where rimuru-san was as he was also with a man who almost had the same features as shion but had red hair and crimson red eyes. "Ahh (y/n) I'm sure had a good rest sit down." Rimuru said as I just sat down next rimuru. "Come eat up (y/n)." Rimuru said. I was hesitant but began to eat god this food was good cause ever since Rias neglected me in the forest. "Rimuru-san." I said as he looked at me. "Yes (y/n)." Rimuru said. "I was gonna ask how will I continue my education since I'm living in your nation." I said. "I was thinking about that as well since when Rigur and Gobta found you they said you were in a uniform of some sort." Rimuru said. "I go to a school known as Kuoh academy." I said.

"All I can suggest is you continue your education there but how can we get you there." Rimuru said. "May I suggest something rimuru-sama." Benimaru said. "Why not teach (y/n) some of the basics of magic." Benimaru added. "Yeah that could work." Rimuru said as he looked at me. "Alright (y/n) I will first teach you teleportation." Rimuru said as I saw rimuru disappear from my sight as I saw him at the other side of the tables. "What the." I said. "It's very complicated but if you think of where you want to go there is a good chance you go to that place." Rimuru said. "Try teleporting to the other side of the table." Benimaru said pointing to the other end.

I tried putting my thoughts of teleporting to the other end of the table. I open my eyes seeing that I was on the roof of one of the buildings close to them. "Well it's a start." Rimuru said scratching his head. "Agreed everything starts with a single step." His butler said. I hopped down sitting with them feeling I have found a new home.
