( It has been a couple of weeks since the city battle. Things have not looked good for the war effort against the Decepticons. With the world now knowing of their existence. Agent Fowler's boss, General Bryce. Has ordered that in the event of a decepticon attack. The military will focus all its efforts on Evacuating the civilians of the populated area. As for the autobots,  Windblade and  Shifter have been getting very close. While they try to keep this growing relationship hidden from the rest of the team. The only one that knows about it is Aurora. Who after telling the two that she knew about it. Made Windblade promise to keep her son safe. Especially since Arcee has since then not integrated with Shifter as much as she did when he was still Jack) 

" ( Drives down the deserted desert highway while Windblade flies overhead). It feels nice to just take a drive through Jasper. Well, I guess it's taking a flight in your case." Said Shifter. " Yeah, but it's even more fun spending it with you." Said Windblade as they were contacted by Ratchet. " Base to Shifter and Windblade. You two missed your last check-in. Is everything ok?" Asked  Ratchet. "Everything fine Ratchet,  Shifter, and I were just enjoying the peace and quiet. Why, what seems to be the situation?" Asked Windblade. " Optimus,  Elita, Chromia, Arcee, and  Ironhide are dealing with Decepticon forces in an energon mine. Rekkasha, Aurora, Hiwire, Jazz,  and Bulkhead are on a mission to destroy a decepticon Outpost. The Airelbots when went with them after we discovered that the combaticons were there." Said  Ratchet. 

" Ok then, we'll let you know once  we find something." Said  Windblade as she and  Shifter pass by a military base not too far from them. Only to then stop after hearing an explosion coming from the base. "What was that?" Asked  Ratchet, who was still on comms. " (  Scanns the area and spots Havic a group of the new decepticon drones). It's Havic again, he and a swarm of those new Decepticon drones are tearing up a military base across from us. Let's go help them out Windblade." Said Shifter as he drove toward the military base. " Right behind you Shifter, we'll call you if we need help Ratchet." Said Windblade as she flew after Shifter.

( Meanwhile, at the Military base)

" Hold the line, stand your ground men. We can not allow them to destroy this base." Said a military commander as  He ran over to Fowler. " Soldier, how goes the defense of the base? We can not allow them to destroy a single facility." Said  Fowler. " We're giving it everything that we've got sir. But our weapons aren't doing much damage to these new drones like they do the others. Have you been able to get in contact with the autobots?" Asked the commander. " No, and neither will I do so. If they discovered that my bosses made their version of a transformer. Similar to how Mech made their nemesis Prime. It would be a breach of trust." Said Fowler, not knowing that Windblade had heard what he said and kept it to herself for now." 

( As  Havic and his Decepticons continue their attack on the military base. The drones are suddenly hit by a strong gust of wind. While Havic gets tripped up by Shifter who had drifted and slammed his left rear side into Havic's legs. Shifter and  Windblade then quickly transformed into robot mode)

" Your attack on the base stops here  Havic. Leave now and no one has to get hurt." Said Shifter. " Oh, I think you two are the ones that will be getting hurt.  I don't feel like wasting my time when I've got another mission to do. So I'll leave these drones here to keep you company). Signals for the drones to draw their swords. Until every drone is holding a sword in their right hand). Ta ta for now  Shifter, we'll meet again." Said Havic as he transformed into his vehicle mode and drove off while the decepticon soldier drones each got into a fighting stance. ( Looks at  Shifter and tosses him a sword handle to hers). Here, it's a little gift that your mom and I made using your grandmother's forge. This thing can only work for you or those in your family." Said Windblade. " (holds the handle tightly and then watches as a blue energy sword appears). Wo, now this is cool. ( Looks at the Decepticon soldiers). Alright then Windblade, let's get this done." Said  Shifter as he and Windblade ran at the decepticon soldiers.

(As the fight started, Shifter and Windblade made sure to watch each other's backs as they took out the deepticon soldiers. During the fight, Shifter notices how their weapons where doing a lot more damage to the new decepticons. Then a normal cybertronian weapon did.  As the fight continued. Shifter began to notice how his perception of an enemy's attacks. Seemed to be a lot faster than what he had expected.  As if his reaction time was enhanced to suit him. This allowed him to dodge a couple of swings from three decepticon soldiers and then drift slam all three of them by drifting to the right and tripping all three of them up with the tail end of his vehicle mode. This allowed  Windblade to fly overhead and slash all three of them. The two autobots then continued to fight until there were only eight left. So, they each took four and then attacked the remaining decepticons)

" (Dodges two swings from two of the decepticons that he was fighting). Missed me, decepticons. ( Transforms into his vehicle mode and then revs up his engine. Before slamming into the decepticon soldier in front of him). But I didn't miss you. ( Transforms back into his robot mode and then begins to blast the deception that he had just rammed into. Which hits the con in the spark chamber. Then turned toward the rest of the cons). Ok then, whose next?"Said  Shifter as he ran at the three decepticon drones.

" ( Spins around and then stabs one of the decepticon drones that she was fighting in the spark. Then throws her sword at a second Decepticon soldier which stabs the con in the head).  Sorry boys, but I'm not letting my partner beat me in this race. ( Takes her energy blade out of the decepticon drone's head. Then quickly turns toward the third decepticon that she was fighting. Only for that same decepticon to get sent flying after two more drones had crashed into him. She then turned toward where the two decepticons came from while slashing the last decepticon that she had been fighting. To see Shifter blasting his last decepticon soldier in the face). So, I guess we're even then." Said  Windblade as she walked over to him

" Yeah, besides, this is just to help me get used to my new weapon. Also, did you um." Said Shifter. " We'll talk about it later, but yes I did. ( Looks down at  Fowler). So, why didn't you call us? Especially if the decepticons were attacking you?" Said Windblade. " The cons were jamming our coms. We couldn't get through their signal jamming." Said  Fowler, hoping that they would buy his lie. Sadly for Fowler, neither  Shifter nor  Windblade bought it. However, they played along. To make it seem like they did. " ( Discreatly tosses a micro tracker onto the object that she saw in one of the hangers and then turns to walk away). Ok then, we're heading back to base. Come on Shifter, we need to alert Optimus of this development." Said  Windblade as she flew off. " Right behind you Windblade, oh and  Fowler. ( Transforms into his vehicle mode). Be careful with what your bosses do to rectify what happened here." Said  Shifter as he drove off and caught up with Windblade.
