Chapter 7: Tournament Proposal
(SCENE: UNITED HALL OF HEROES) (POV: 3RD PERSON)
As Y/n Kahn and the Gods plan to hold a Kaiken Tournament, things started to calm down back in the United Hall of Heroes.
For starters, the Union group now reside away from the rest of the Heroes and wished to avoid them at all cost. However, the old friends of Y/n Kahn choose to interact with the other Heroes as they wish to learn more about Y/n Kahn.
Right now, they're learning about the artifacts on his armor. "So, those Kamidogu' that Y/n Kahn wears are what's keeping a literal god eater dormant?" Ren asked as Liu Kang nods in confirmation.
"It's true." He says. "Not only that, but they also grant Y/n Kahn a massive increase in nearly everything." Kung Lao adds on as they grew wide eyes at this.
But before anyone could say anything, Lighting struck down next to them as Raiden and Y/n Kahn emerged from it. "Lord Raiden, Y/n Kahn." Liu Kang says as he and Kung Lao bowed.
Raiden went to consult with Liu Kang and Kung Lao about the Kaiken Tournament while Y/n Kahn approached his old friends. "Team JNPR, Team CFVY, Asia, Sona, Tsubaki, Mei, Nejire, Ryuko, Mako, Hinata, Naruto, Akame and Leone. Something of great importance has come up that needs the attendance of the Headmasters." He explains as they were confused at this.
"Why do you need them?" Jaune asked. "I wish I could explain, but not around the ears of many. Only when I know it's us and us alone will I reveal the true." He cryptically explained.
His old friends feel scared at what could cause this change in Y/n Kahn's personality as they guided him towards the rest of their friends.
(SCENE CHANGE: UHH'S LIVING QUARTERS)
As Y/n Kahn and the others began making their way towards the Living Quarters of the United Hall of Heroes, Y/n Kahn's friends couldn't help but wonder why he wants to talk with the Headmasters, despite what the audacity they tried to pull.
They finally arrived at the Living Quarters as they entered. Y/n Kahn can easily sense many of the auras of hostility from mostly everyone, but he held an emotionless expression as he makes his way towards the Headmasters.
"So, finally decided to show the loyalty towards your own home and comply with us?" Sirzechs asked with a victorious smirk on his face.
"Lucifer Sirzechs, loyalty isn't merely given, but rather earned. And I disowned that world ever since the day I became Kahn." Y/n Kahn explains as the Headmasters grew angry at this. "But that is not the reason I came to talk about. Something came up and I need the approval of you all. It's-" He tried to explain but the Headmasters cut him off to soon.
"DEAL!!!" They exclaimed as Y/n Kahn raised a brow. "You sure? Because there is no backing out of this once you all agree to this." He told them as the Headmasters brushed him off.
"We don't care for whatever meaningless game you have planned. But I'll be the last game you'll ever play as 'Kahn'." Jiraya says as he used a mocking tone at the 'Kahn' part.
Y/n Kahn brushed off his disrespect as he takes out the scroll of the Kaiken Tournament rules. "This scroll reveals everything you need to know. I would suggest you read now so you don't get caught off guard." He explains as he places the scroll down on a nearby table.
However, Bakugo grabbed the scroll from the table and destroyed it with his Quirk. "LIKE WE NEED ANYTHING FROM A UNWANTED AND WORTHLESS EXTRA TRASH LIKE YOU!!!!" He exclaims in both anger and arrogance as his friends nod in agreement.
'Yelp, they'll be regretting this for when the Kaiken Tournament comes up. Because the rules said nothing about Fatalities or anything.' Y/n Kahn said in his head.
"Well then, I sure hope you all are prepared for what comes next, because whatever happens from this point on will be nothing but your own faults." He said as he teleported out of the Living Quarters.
(POV CHANGE: JAUNE)
After Y/n Kahn left, everyone started talking badly about him and how they'll handle anything he throws at them. I and several others, however, have different ideas.
'The way he explained everything makes it feel like whatever he's planning is a one way trip. I sure hope he knows what he's doing.' I thought to myself as I'm sure the others have similar thoughts.
(POV CHANGE: Y/N KAHN) (SCENE CHANGE: Y/N KAHN'S THRONE ROOM)
I returned to my Throne Room to find Cetrion waiting for me. She ran up to me and gave me a kiss on the lips as we locked eyes with one another.
"My handsome Kahn." She flirts as I smiled. "My beautiful flower." I flirt back as she chuckles.
"So, how was Union?" She asked as I frowned. "Not so well. They agreed to the Tournament right away before I even had the chance to tell them what it was. One of their students even destroyed the scroll the Gods gave me in his arrogance." I explained everything that happened.
I saw Cetrion's face turned into one of disappointment and frustration. "Those arrogant fools." She growls under her breath as I calmed her down with a kiss.
"Don't worry, my sweet blossom, they'll pay for their arrogance in the Kaiken Tournament. Speaking of which, how're the forces coming along?" I asked.
"The leaders of the factions under your rule are here to represent your side. Several other nations wishes to join your cause, so they send their world's greatest fighters here. The United Hall of Heroes and their allies have sent a couple of their fighters here as well. Also, both the other refugees and the Branwen Tribe wish to join your cause." She explains as my eyes grew wide at this.
I quickly shook my shock off. "Well, since those Union fools are too arrogant for their own good, we could either get on with the Tournament or have a few hours of training?" I suggested as I hold back on my jokingly tone.
Cetrion gave me a small smile. "Personally, I think it's time to put them in their place." She says as she wraps herself around my arm. She and I then proceeded to make our way to where the others are at as a thought came to mind.
"Hey Cetrion, does the Kaiken Tournament allows Fatalities? Because I know for a fact that Kombatants like Baraka or Reptile wouldn't hesitate to kill them." I questioned as, though I don't care for many of the students, I would like to avoid unnecessary casualties.
"Don't worry, I'm sure if they do kill someone, it'll be considered their comeuppances." She dismissingly said as I chuckled a bit.
'Man, I forgot she can be like that sometimes.' I thought to myself as we arrived to where everyone is gathered.
(SCENE CHANGE: GATHERING AREA) (POV CHANGE: 3RD PERSON)
Y/n Kahn and Cetrion entered the area as everyone turned their attention to the pair. Y/n Kahn walks on top of a pedestal as Cetrion takes to his side.
"Friends, Families in Arms and Warriors of both new & old! I have summoned you all here because a great threat is approaching quickly. This threat will originate from the same world our new allies have come from." He explains as he gestured towards both the Branwen Tribe and the Forces of Darkness.
"The threat their world posed is great. But thankfully, the threat just needs one more component to be completed. And that, said component, is the Heart of Onaga." He reveals as everyone, par the people from Y/n Kahn's old world, gasped.
"As per your knowledge, the Heart is safely locked away and will prevent anyone with ill intentions from accessing the Heart. But in order to spare the Realms from such a fate, the Heart must be destroyed." He explains as everyone mutters and whispers to themselves.
Y/n Kahn lets out a fake cough to catch their attention as he resumes his speech. "I know what you all are thinking, but I learn that the Heart can be destroyed. However, I would need many things from their world to accomplish such a task. Unfortunately, I cannot undertake in such a quest without encountering extreme difficulties. As such, with permission from the Gods themselves, I've been granted the right to enact a Kaiken Tournament." He explains as everyone became curious at what a Kaiken Tournament is.
Y/n Kahn then stepped aside as Cetrion moved forward to explain for him. "The Kaiken Tournament is a competition that can only be enacted if someone originated from a different Realm and that being becomes a power that surpasses those of their birth Realm. The main purpose of this Tournament is to grant the previously mentioned being complete immunity towards any laws and orders their old world has created." She explains as she gestured for Y/n Kahn to take control.
"And as you can gather, if our side wins this Tournament, we can prevent a threat of incalculable measures from even emerging. But know this, I know not of the boundaries towards Fatalities, so I would prefer if you all were to not commit them unless I say so." He finished explaining as everyone agrees to these terms.
Y/n Kahn then used his powers to create a projection of the rules from his memories. "Here are the rules of the Tournament. Once you all read it and memorize it, send someone to me and I shall begin the Tournament." He says as he exit the room with Cetrion at his side.
(TIMESKIP)
After some time has passed, a Naknada warrior arrived to Y/n Kahn's Throne Room and informed him that everyone are familiarized with the rules.
Y/n Kahn then told the Naknada warrior to return to the others as previously mentioned Naknada did just that. Y/n Kahn then looks at Cetrion as he smiled.
"It has begun."
(Here's Chapter 7 done. Sorry for the end part, it was getting kinda late and I'm getting pretty tired, so I had to compromised a bit to end this chapter. But I'm sure the rest of it will make up for it. Anyways, next chapter will begin the Tournament.)
