(SCENE: ATLAS) (POV: Y/N KAHN)

This place reminds me too much of the Garlean Empire: corrupted enslavers of innocent souls. If the Garlean were still around, I have no doubt they'll form an alliance with each other.

But now, the Garleans are all extinct, so that's a blow to Atlas.

But enough talk of those Garlean fools. I have a job to do. And yes, I did came here alone. The reason is mainly due to the fact I'm currently an enigma now while my allies will stick out too easily.

As I walked through the streets of Atlas, I find that it seems like a ghost town. Probably because of Atlasian curfew, though I'm sure the patrols won't bother me since they're probably busy screwing each other or something.

But when the Hospital came into view, I was stopped by Atlas' top fighters: Winter Schnee and Ace Ops.

"Halt! State your business?" Winter orders as I simply raises my hands up. "At ease. I'm simply here to see someone." I say, in an attempt to ease their aggression.

"We need to see a permit. If you don't have one, then you need to return to your home." Clover says. "Well, I don't live here in Atlas and I don't have a permit. Though my reason to visit the Hospital is something of great importance, importances I cannot reveal yet. So, I request you allow me passage to the Hospital." I explained.

"Despite this importance, you need to seek shelter immediately. If you still wish to refuse this order, then we'll be forced to use other means." Winter explains as the Ace Ops prepares for a battle.

"I don't wish to battle, but I'll be forced to defend myself." I said as I enter a battle stance. "Very well then. ACE OPS, ENGAGE!!!!" Winter orders as the Ace Ops charged at me.

However, I merely used the Time Stone to stop both the Ace Ops and Winter dead in their tracks. "Sorry young ones, truly I am. But the mission I have is too important to be delayed." I said as I walked pass them and advance to the Hospital.

(SCENE CHANGE: HOSPITAL) (POV CHANGE: 3RD PERSON)

Y/n Kahn enters the Hospital as he approaches the desk. "Excuse me, but is there a Fria available?" He asks. "Oh yes, she's in Room 792." The receptionist says.

"Thank you." He says as he leaves to Room 792. Y/n Kahn then enters an elevator and pressed a few numbers to his destination. The elevator begins moving as some horrible music begins playing.

Though Y/n Kahn's temper hasn't been broken in quite a long time, these songs were beginning to wither away at his sanity. He then proceeds to use his powers to change the songs into something better.

'Ah, the people in Atlas will thank me for this." He thoughts as the elevator stops, indicating that Y/n Kahn has reached his destination. He exits the elevator and begins to check the numbers on every room till he finds the one he's looking for.

It took some time until he found room 792 as he knocks on the door. "Come in." An elderly female voice says as Y/n Kahn enters. He finds the elderly woman on a bed, covered in a blanket with flowers on it.

"Greetings, Fria. I'm Y/n Kahn and I wish to talk." He politely says. Fria examines him as she smiles at him. "Certainly. Though I was expecting Winter and her friends to visit." She says.

"Yes. However, they spotted me outside on the streets. I tried to reason with them and resolve the situation that won't end in a fight, but they wouldn't listen to me and prepare to fight. So, I used my powers to freeze them in time. If you like, I can unfreeze them." He explains.

"I would like for you to bring them here and only unfreeze their heads." She politely says as Y/n Kahn nods his head and follows through with her wishes.

He brought Winter & her Ace Ops into the room, relieves them of their weapons and unfreezes their heads. "Who?! What?! Where?! When?!" They frantically exclaim in confusion.

They then laid eyes on Y/n Kahn. "You!" They said with anger in their voice. "At ease, soldiers. He's here to talk." Fria calmly orders them as they turned to her in shock. "B-But Fria. He's an invader in Atlas. Who knows what he wants." Winter tries to reason with her.

"If he wished to cause chaos in Atlas, he would've done so alright. So, unless we know what his motives are, I suggest we let him speak and decide for ourselves." She explains.

Winter and the Ace Ops whisper amongst themselves as they came to a conclusion. "Fine." Winter grumbles as Fria smiles and nods to Y/n Kahn.

He smiles and nods as well as he releases Winter and the Ace Ops from the time freeze. Though, for a safety precaution, he temporarily disables their Semblances.

This works immediately as Harriet tries to surprise attack Y/n Kahn. However, this resulted in him tripping her and grabbing her at the scruff of her uniform's collar.

"Harriet, cease your fighting." Y/n Kahn sternly says as the electric speedster gave him a glare. "Please, stop such needless violence. I know the real reason why you battle, why you and others before you joined the Ace Ops. It's not about Atlas, but your families." He says as Harriet looks at him in shock.

"Yes. Your family suffered from something horrible and you wish for vengeance. I know this feeling all too well. I once sought revenge on this for the torture they inflicted onto me. But I realized that vengeance only ends in more suffering, more loss of innocent lives and so much more. Emotions like those are cancers that poisons the minds, souls and hearts until they're nothing left but blackness and bitterness." He explains as he lets go of Harriet.

He sat down on a chair near Fria as he brings chairs for Winter and the Ace Ops. "Now then, let us sit down and talk like adults." He says as Fria nods in agreement.

The group follows along with this as they sit down. "Now then, what brings you here, young man?" Fria asks. "Because of a powerful and dangerous threat is approaching this world. Normally, I don't involve myself in matters of other worlds, but this threat would threaten all other worlds, including my own. But as for the rest? Let me just show you." He explains as he fires a beam from his forehead that goes through the heads of everyone present in the room.

Suddenly, memories of the threat Y/n Kahn talked about started filling their minds. Once the memories ended, everyone was panting with exhaustion. "Apologies for the exhaustion. That technique takes a bit of a toll on the mind, but you'll be find in a couple of hours." Y/n Kahn says.

However, no one says anything as they couldn't comprehend at what just happened.

"But as you've just see: this threat origins from Atlas. So, I need the final Maiden powers to end this." He says.

"But Atlas would never do something like this!" Winter exclaims. "Winter, you learned everything from me, as the gods have told me." Y/n Kahn says. "And how can you trust the same gods that let these horrible things to happen? To us? To you?" Winter asks. "I don't trust them. But Kuchiku will destroy everything you all fought so hard for. With a threat of this magnitude around, we have to take risks and chances if it means stopping this threat." Y/n Kahn explains.

"And how do we know you won't use the Maiden powers to destroy your old world?" Winter questions with furrowed brows. "If I wanted to destroy you all, I would've done it in front of the Hospital. And besides, once I'm done with Kuchiku, then I'll leave this place for good." Y/n Kahn says.

"Then why even bother coming here if you hate this place so much?" Winter asks. "Because if I don't stop Kuchiku, then the other worlds will suffer death and destruction at his hands. I cannot allow the worlds to face extinction because of my hatred towards my old world." Y/n Kahn says.

"But Atlas wouldn't do something like this! They wish to bring peace to the cities and protection to the defenseless." Winter says. "Winter Schnee, you need to open up your eyes and truthfully see Atlas for what it is. They don't care for peace. They want control, dominance and power. Why do you think the Faunusus and all like them hate Atlas so much? It's because Atlas was the one who enslaved them years ago. You and all others are blinded by the lies and deceit of the corrupted leaders & their false promises." Y/n Kahn explains.

Winter, however, says nothing as she exits the room. The Ace Ops we're about to follow, but Fria stopped them. "Let her be. She needs time to herself." She says. The Ace Ops looked conflicted, but they decided to follow her orders.

"I apologize for the argument. But I was merely trying to help her break free of her condition." Y/n Kahn says, causing the Ace Ops confusion. "Indeed. Though she doesn't show it, her pains and troubles with her family has scarred her greatly, both in a mental and psychological sense." Fria says with sadness.

The Ace Ops looked shock at this. "What kind of condition does Winter have?" Elm asks in concern. "Stockholm Syndrome. Both her and her family suffers from the Syndrome from their Father, Jacques Schnee. The family all took certain traits from him: Willow took his need to oppress others, hence her private zoo, Winter took his coldness and harshness, Weiss inherited his snobbish like attitude and Whitley took on his arrogance. Even though this condition is connected to a kidnapping, sometimes things aren't always what they seem to be." Y/n Kahn explains.

This caused the concern of the Ace Ops to raise. "I'm afraid he's right. Atlas was once a place for peace, happiness and acceptance. But now? I can hardly even recognize it anymore. Sometimes, when I look outside, I can hear the screams of innocent souls being tortured. Everyday, I wish I can stop this, but I can't. I'm not as strong or as young as I use to be." She sadly explains as she turns to Y/n Kahn.

"But now? Now, Atlas can be saved." She says as she grabs Y/n Kahn's hand and placed it on her chest. "You're right. Atlas is falling into darkness. But I also know it can be saved. So, I want you to promise me something. Promise me you'll bring back the Atlas I once knew." She says as Y/n Kahn nods his head. "I swear on my life, Fria." He says as Fria smiles at this.

Y/n Kahn then begins the Maiden Power Transfer. The Ace Ops looked on in shocked as Y/n Kahn finishes the Transfer.

Fria then lauds back down as she's still smiling. "Now go. Save the worlds. Bring peace this chaotic world and bring back what it use to be." She says as Y/n Kahn nods in confirmation and teleports out of the room.

Fria then turns to the Ace Ops. "Ace Ops, I want you and Winter to try and help Atlas too. Don't speak with violence, but rather your hearts. Show that love is more powerful then hate and vengeance." She says.

The Ace Ops smiled at this as they nod their heads. They then exit the room as Fria looks up at the calling. "The future is already looking brighter and happier. But, sadly, I won't be around to see it." She says as she closes her eyes and takes her final breath as time & age claims her.

(Here's chapter 15. Y/n Kahn now has all of the Maiden powers, though one of the previous Maidens wouldn't live to see the future, but I believe she will see it amongst the table of Heroines in the great lands in the sky. But next chapter, darkness will return.)
