Neil's Pov -

"Mom, I will never forgive myself for what I did with her. She was in pain because of me. I shouldn't have left her alone. I'm a bad husband. My avi , she's in pain. It's all my fault. " I sobbed hard clutching into my mom arms.

"Neil, it wasn't your fault. Stop crying. Nothing will happen to her and baby." Mom tried to console me but how can I not worry when my life is crying, screaming with pain in operation theatre.

Avi got labour pain as soon as I left her. It was all my fault that I left her abruptly. I should have been with her that time consoling her in my arms but I wasn't. Instead I ran away from her . But her sudden scream made me alert and afraid. Panicking ,when I went to our room , avi was on floor crying by clutching her belly.

I was scared. Immediately we took her to hospital where doctor's told us Avi's water broke and it was an emergency and they won't allow me inside. My heart sank when avi cried clutching my hands to come inside with her, she wanted me with her while delivering baby I promised her too but now  I broke it.

Soon after few minutes, I was heartbroken, when I saw the CCTV footage of our room in my phone. I installed it for the safety of my avi.  The time I left her, Avi was on floor because she didn't get anything  to hold on or to support herself. She couldn't bear the pain and slid on floor clutching her belly. My heart sank realising how bad I was, I left my wife in a miserable condition.

"Mom, I will kill myself if something happens to them. I will die. It's my fault that I didn't understood her from the beginning. She hid so much pain in her heart and I didn't even realize it. I made her cry, and because of me she is in pain. If I didn't left her she wouldn't have been on the floor crying. " I cried out. My eyes hurt from the constant crying. It had been an hour since they took avi inside for labour.  I remember avi begged me to come inside with her, she clutched into my wrist pulling me inside but doctors they refused me and didn't allow me inside making her cry more and I felt my heart sank watching her in such a terrible condition.

"I shouldn't have made her pregnant. It's all my fault. I'm bad. They didn't even allow me inside. She must be so much pain. " I sobbed ,tears rolled down my cheeks remembering her heart wrenching screams.

"Neil stop. It's not your fault " Neela ma said.

I looked at her with teary eyes.

"I'm sorry neela ma, I failed to take care of your daughter. " I cried hiding my face in my palms.

Few minutes later she pulled me into a tight hug.

"Nothing will happen to her and you're the best husband in the world understand? " she said patting my back.

"No, I'm not. I made her go through all the pain. " I hiccuped and cried

Neela Ma and mom looked at each other and sighed.

"How's my wife avni? Is she fine? Nothing happened to her right? " I asked impatiently as the doctor came out from the room.

"Congrats Mr. Neil. You have a girl. " Doctor says smiling.

A bright smile formed on my face as soon as I heard that. My heart joyed with happiness. My baby , our baby we made her, I'm a father now.

But soon my smile faded remembering my love avi.

"Avni? She is fine right? " I asked crying. My heart is aching from the time they took her inside. They even didn't let me see her.

"She is unconscious and under observation. she's very week as she has lost a lot of blood. Dont worry she'd fine. " doctor replied.

I sighed a huge relief but I felt my self crying again. She isn't conscious means she didn't saw our baby.

"Congratulations tillu. " Everyone cheered. My dad ,Ashish uncle hugged me.

I had a blank reaction.

"Neil ,why aren't you speaking anything? " Mom asked. 

"Until avi recovers don't congratulate me."  I said sternly and walked out from there.

5 hour's later :

"Mr. Khanna you can visit her now. She's is conscious. " Doctor told me smiling.

I felt relieved. I only knew how my heart was waiting to meet her. I even didn't saw my baby girl because I wanted to see her in Avi's arms.

"Thank you doctor. " I said politely and walked into Avni's room with teary eyes. As I stepped inside I saw her sleeping on bed.  Her eyes were closed and her face looked pale. Slowly I approached her and stood in front of her.

" Tillu ? " Avi slowly opened her eyes with weaknesses. Her voice was horse. She recognized me without even watching me.

"Avi.. How do you know it's me? " I questioned with tears.

She smiled weakly.

"Tillu..come here. " she muttered patting the side of bed.

Shifty, I went her and hugged her sideways. I buried myself into her neck and cried.

"I can feel your presence tillu. " she whispered.

I pulled myself back and looked at her.

"Baby are you okay? Is it paining. I'm sorry baby. I'm sorry for everything" I sobbed kissing her face numerous times.

"Tillu. I'm fine. Stop. Your beard Is tikling me. " she chuckled.

I stopped and looked at her teary eyes. I wiped her tears and kissed her eyes one by one.

"Tillu, I'm sorry for yelling on you. " she whispered.

"Why are you apologizing? It was my fault. I am bad husband right? I left you. " I said, my voice chocked.

She closed her eyes for a second and sighed.

"It wasn't your fault, and you're a good husband but I'm mad at you for leaving me like that. Did you even realize what if something happens to our baby." She says and paused , her eyes widened .

"Wait -  Wait- Wait - baby. Where is my baby? Tillu our baby? " she gasped.

I smiled, oh now she remembers she delivered a baby.

"Oh my gosh. Where is my baby tillu ? " she shouted.

"She is in the crib" . I laughed. 

"Oh, you scared me. By the way did you saw her? She looks like me right? I know. " she giggled.

"I haven't seen her yet." I muttered lowly.

"What? " she frowns.

"I want to see her face in your arms. " I said.

"You are weird." she exclaims.

"I know. " I chuckled. Avi doesn't know how much she means to me. She's more important than our baby.

"Bring her ,I want to see. " she demanded.

I nodded and walked towards the crib. Suddenly my hands shaked and my heart thumped. My baby girl, I'm seeing my baby.

I approached the crib and saw our angel sleeping.

I gasped loud, she looks exactly like her mother. Fair skin, sharp nose, plump lips. As she was sleeping ,I couldn't see her eyes.

"Oh my God, avi. Our baby. " I cried out holding her in my arms.

She yawned and stretched her little arms before she snuggled into my chest. She is so small for me.

Tears rolled down my eyes. I couldn't believe I'm father now.

I gently hold onto the baby and walked to avni.

"Oh gosh, she's is beautiful " Avni shrieked loudly. Her eyes were flooded with tears as well as mine.

A smile appeared on my face.

"We made her. " I kissed Avni's forehead then our baby's.

Avni pulled baby more closer to her. She kissed her face numerous times without waking her up.

"I'm proud of you avi. You're a great mother. " I whispered starring at her.

Avni looked at me and then baby.

"I hope she doesn't get your eye color." she says changing topic but her sentence made me shocked.

"Why not? " I asked offended.

"Because I've carried her nine months not you. So she should be like me. " she rolled her eyes.

"Hey, don't forget I gave you my sperm. " I said.

Avi gasps.

"Chi, shameless. How can you talk like that? That to in front of our baby?" She glared at me.

"Don't worry she's sleeping " I smirked watching avi's flushed face.

She rolled her eyes.

"Now make her sleep in crib my back is paining. " She whined with painful expression.

I quickly took baby out of her hold and made her sleep in crib.

"I love you baby. " I murmured and kissed her forehead.

I came back to avi and sat beside her.

"I was scared, You gave me heart attack. " I rubbed her knuckles softly.

"Why? "

"I thought I'd lose you. " I kissed her delicate hands.

"But I'm fine right? ". She muttered.

I didn't answer instead I starred directly at her eyes then her lips. Oh gosh ,how much I missed them.

I smiled leaning down her face. I could feel her breathing getting heavier with our promixty. I smirked.

I cupped her cheeks and approached to kiss her but avi stooped me before I press my lips.

"Stop, Who gave you permission to kiss me? "  She says.

"What? I'm your husband. I don't need permission to kiss you. "

"Oh really? Then sorry tillu hubby. You are restricted to touch me for six months. This is your punishment. " she says shrugging.

"WHATTTTT? NOO " I Shouted with wide eyes.
