It's been two weeks from that horrific incident .It's been two weeks that I have learnt about tillu's love for me. Though it's not a proper confession but it's enough  to know his feelings.

Never,ever I thought tillu will ever love me coz we have always shared a bestie bond ,not other than else! But...Maybe I was in delusional till now  because tillu always loved me, I'm on other side thought everything he did as a friend.

Now I understood why did he kiss me that day. It was neither accidental nor a mistake, it was tillu who kissed me with all the love he had for me.

When tillu unknowingly confessed his feelings ,I was shocked at first . It was like a dream to me. Like I said before, I never knew tillu had feelings for me. When he said " I LOVE YOU BABY " that second ,my body went into paralyzed state and cold shivers crawled through out my spine ,I barely had breath that time and Till now I couldn't help to remember his words. The way he said he loves me. Ufff.. Still that thing revolves around my brain like earth revolves around sun.

After that incident ,I just acted like I didn't heard anything but whenever tillu talked with me or helped me with my bruises; my face used to turn deep red like tomato .Though tillu did notice this but he doesn't know why I was blushing. And now after two weeks I'm all fit and fine. My bruises have been healed and I have planned to propose tillu.

Yes, Im going to propose him that to today. He gave me everything I wanted from childhood. He made me smile when felt low, he was there with me whenever I needed someone.
And now it's my time to make him happy. That's why I planned to propose him to night.

But how I'm gonna take him to the place where I have planned? Coz No one knows I'm doing this. I took help of my friend ananya and prepared the things. Not to mention in my budget coz I couldn't take help of any family member ; if I tell them about this ,they will directly fix our marriage or even first night of us within a day I know. It's because they are fast in all this stuff :").

It's morning 9o'clock and today I wore Indian clothes. Well, it's my first time that I'm wearing any traditional dress. I usually wear jeans, shorts, T-shirts etc. Never wore these type of clothes.

But today... I want everything to be special. I want tillu to see me in this. As I know tillu had a fantasy of watching me in traditional clothes.
So ,I wore simple sky blue colored anarkali with long net sleeved hands.

( I did alot of search to get her full length dresses so that there's no need to imagine her in other clothes😍.)

Finally, wearing silver shine jhumkis (earring's) my look completed.

I saw myself in mirror.

Trust me! I couldn't believe my own reflection I looked so beautiful.

"OMG" Tillu will love this.

Awie..! I look beautiful!

I sighed and took my phone out to text tillu ,whether he is up or not coz I need to meet him and have to talk about evening.

I texted him good morning message.
Umm....Should I change his contact name?? As now he is going to be my boyfriend.

"HELL NO!" Gadha(donkey) suits him so much coz sometimes he exactly acts like that and you may ask why milk bottle ? It's coz.. Mm.... he..is my baby you...know.. *coughs *coughs.

Any ways, look at his dp awie.. It's us! Yeah, it was taken on our freshers day party. I remember.

Soon my thoughts broke as my phone ranged "beeeeeep "indicating message arrival. I opened my phone and saw his message notification.

"Gadha Tillu 🌚🍼 sent you a
message "

I clicked on  his message. Awie.. Look at those emojis. OMG! he sent me love emojis.

But wait...wait! He replied me after four minutes...freaking 4 minutes late. I should be mad at him. Ughhh!

I typed and sent the above msg and waited for his reply.

After a minute I got above  reply from him. Look at that emoji. Sad wala huh! 😏.

I texted him, Coz how dare him to reply late ,I thought he is dead that's why he replied late. Just kidding lol. I know he is alive.

Within a minute my phone again beeped indicating his message.

I read his message and rolled my eyes.ugh! Nature's call.
Anyways jo kaam keliyae text Kia Vo puchna hi bul gyi.

I asked texting the above message.

I read his message and next second my face turned deep red, my nostrils flared. How dare him to say like that!  Gadha tillu. How could he even!

I was annoyed and he loves making me annoy.

I got the above message from him like seriously! Doesn't he have fear of his life that he is texting me all this stuff. Wait tillu I'll make you pay I swear. I smriked.

I replied and closed my phone without waiting to his reply. I have to talk to him asap. Already I have lots of things to do.

"I don't know how I'll live my entire life with this gadha. " I huff and start to leave to tillu's house.

"Maa....Bye! I'm going to tillu's house. " I shouted running through the stairs

"Acha okay..." Maa says looking at me for a second. "But wait what?  What the hell are are you wearing? ".She literally shouts by making her eyes wide as saucers. Well.. Like I said before no body has seen me in traditional attire so,its obvious every one will get shock.

"Dress mom? " I reply rolling my eyes.

"I know it's dress but.. This was unexpected " She laughs.

"Why are you laughing? " I question frowning.

"Nothing .. Nothing.. never thought the great avni mehta will wear something like this " she again laughs looking at my dress.

Suddenly, I felt dissapointed wave Hit  my head ,But I didn't show it outside.

I sighed sadly.

"Okay, I'm leaving. Bye ma " I whisper calmly and leave my home.

"Tillu.. Tillu..." I shout ,entering into tillu's mansion.

"Are.. Avni.. Tum yeha " sweta aunty chirps as she comes from kitchen. "But What.? Wait wait..what am I seeing? " She says with serious face.

I look at my dress , if there's anything dirty but found nothing.

"What are you seeing ? "I ask narrowing my eyes at her.

"Are you serious? Look at you! You're wearing Indian dress. Omg, I never thought that I would able to see you in these clothes but now I'm seeing! Is this eighth wonder? " she laughs.

I felt stinging pain in my heart. My throat tightened to speak anything.

Okay.. ! That's making my confidence level low. What if tillu reaction is like this? I thought.

But again I shrugged all this coz I knew tillu will never make fun of me.

"Auntie where is tillu? "I ask ignoring her laugh.

"He is in room, he would be shocked to see you avni " she again laughs. 

I smile half heartedly and head towards the tillu's room.

Should I knock the door? I think I should.

"I knock his door "

"Come in " I hear shout from other side.

"It's OK avni. Nthg will happen don't panic.. Don't panic "Thinking this I entered into his room with a broad smile plastered on my face.

"Avi. Is that yo.. " his words get's cut off when he turns around to see me. His eyes widened, maybe with shock.

I smile with blush and the next second my smile vanishes as tillu starts laughing.

I bit my lower lip to control my anger as well pain that hit my heart suddenly.

"Oh my God  what are you wearing? hahah " he laughs looking at me.

"Clothes. " I say calmly. I could feel tears filling up my eyes.

"I know they are clothes but look at you. You look like a joker " he again laughs clenching his stomach with his hands.

That's it ! It hurts... It hurts so bad.

I bite my inner cheeks to control the threatening tears.

I specifically bought this dress for him but what I get ? THIS. Everyone is laughing at me ,...Including tillu.

Tears fill my eyes and my throat tightens to speak something out. I immediately turn around to walk out.

I hate him  I hate him so much.

"Before I leave room, he grabs my arm"

"Hey avi , where are you going? You wanted to speak something right? "  he questions and tries to turn me around but I didn't turn as now my face turned red and fluffy with tears pouring outside.

I stood silent and struggled to come out of his grip.

"Hey avni." he again says and turns me around with force.

At sudden a loud gasp leaves his mouth as soon as he sees my face.

"Hey.. Why are you crying?  He asks, cupping my cheeks. "

"Why do you care? " I spat angrily on his face.

"what happened?  You were fine till now. Then suddenly ?" he wipes my tears saying.

I look at him disbelief.

"Nothing happened you know. Everyone who saw me today, just laughed exactly same like you? " I said looking away from his face.

He stood silent for a while.

"Avi.. "

"Avi.. I.. Just. Laughed.. Like that. " he stammers.

"Yeah.. You ..just laughed like that. " I smile sadly while  tears rolled out of my eyes.

"Avi.." he tries to say but I cut him off.

"No.. It's all my fault that I wore this dress. First my mom.. then next your mom and now you . It's okay laugh. Jitna hasna hai haso. I'm habitual to all this " I chock but  immediately I wipe my face with my elbow.

"I'm sorry. I just wanted to tease you avni. You look beautiful! " he says softly.

"Yeah, I look like a joker! " I sniff remembering his words.

"Anyways, Be ready at evening. We are going somewhere. " I say sternly and starts to leave his room. I have planned to spent time here with him but not now after all this.

"Please don't go.. Avni I'm sorry " he tries to stop me.

"No..dont stop me " I yelled . " I need to change this dress or else I know I'll become comedy show for everyone " I cry out with tears And leave his room.

Ruined..

Everything is ruined.

He laughed at me. He freaking called me joker. How could he.?I would have never get hurt if he calls me joker but today.. It hurts me so bad.

I walk furiously but suddenly bump into sweata antuie.

"Hey why are you running beta " she asks with confused face.

I don't reply anything.

"What happened to your face "  she again questions.

"I need to go ,bye aunty " I only reply this and leave tillu's house.

I hurriedly leave to me room and jump on to my bed.

How dare all of them to laugh at me? How could they even say like that. Kisni ne bhi yek bar bhi nhi bola I look beautiful. Even tillu said I look like a joker. I cry and wet my pillows.

I hate tillu.. I hate them all and I'll never talk with them.

Author's Pov -

After avni left sweta leaves to Neil's room to check what happened.

"Neil what happened ? Why avni is looking pale " she asks Neil concerned.

Neil didn't reply her, instead he was angry on himself for ruining Avni's day.

"Neil. " sweta trails off.

"I made her cry mom " Neil blurts out suddenly.

"What? What are you saying Neil. ? " Sweta shouts shocked.

"Mom,  I made fun of her dress. I thought she would take it as joke but no.. She is hurt ma and I have seen that in her eyes. " Neil cries. Sweta instantly felt bad coz morning she too laughed at her.

"Mom. Avi wore that dress for us. She wanted us to see her in that attire and what we did? we fucki*g made fun of her ". Neil ran his hands through his hairs and let out a frustrated grown.

"I'm sorry Neil. " Sweta  says.

"What sorry mom! Apko tho nhi kehna chahiyae tha na. She is equally hurt coz of you and me. And now I'm gonna pacify her and you will also help me " Neil exclaims determined.

"Yes.. Sure beta " Sweta smile wiping her tears.

"Neil.. Sweta. What are you doing here!?" Neela exclaims as soon as they enter inside of mehta mansion.

"Where is avni? " Neil asks ignoring the first question neela did.

"She is in room why? " Neela asks confused.

Neil didn't answer her question and directly ran towards Avni's room

"Isae kya hua? " Neela asks sweta. She sighs and explains everything that happened before ;The way avni got hurt and the way she left from Neil's room.

"Oh God! Sweta ji. Ye kya kar diya hum logo ne!" Neela panics as soon as she realizes her mistake.

"It's ok Neila.  Don't worry. we will pacify her I know! " she smiles.

"Avni.. Open the door please! I'm sorry na. Mai gadha tha isiliyae yese bola " Neil shouted after banging Avni's room door for nth time.

"Yes.. Tum gadhe the.. aur rahoge tillu " Avni spat back from inside. She was so angry on him .

"Please forgive me na. I'm sorry. Mai phir yese nhi karunga. Please let me in jaan! ".Neil cries as he again knocks her door.

"OK I forgive you. Just go away! ".She yells.

"Avni see mom has brought your favorite cupcakes. She herself made them..Don't you want that. Deko Mai kha lunga sab! Umm.." Neil fakes a moan.

Avni face lits bright for a second.

"Avni.. Focus.. Foucs you are angry on them. And they are corrupting you with cupcakes. Pigalna nhi hai! " She speaks to herself.

"Okay. You don't want. I'm gonna eat". He says. "Omg! This choco frosting is just amazing!  Umm.. ".Neil moans.

"He is eating my cupcakes... He freaking took my cupcakes ahhhh ! " Avni thinks.

Wait! Pigal na nhi hai avni.

"Avi last cupcake hai. Your choice or else I'll eat " Neil shouts.

That's it. Avni opens the door and steals the cupcakes from Neil forcefully.

"Don't you dare ! They are mine! " she takes and stuffs them in her mouth.

"Pigal gayi Mai. Huh! Tillu knows how to pacify me. Gadha! "

"I'm so sorry bacha " neela and sweta comes from back saying.

Avni looks away from them.

"Why are you sorry!  It's fine that you were honest with me that I look like bafoon in Indian attire " Avni speaks sarcastically.  Tears prick through her eyes.

"You look beautiful! ".Neil blurts out suddenly gazing avni in aweird way.

Avni looks on.

"So beautiful that even the most alluring thing would get jealous of you. ".he adds ,his voice was stern and calm.

Avni looks at him with confused eyes.

"I look like a joker? " Avni mutters.

"I was jealous of you that you looked so beautiful than me in Indian attire so I laughed " Neil shrugs.

Avni narrows her eyes to him.

"So you think your most beautiful thing according to your cheesy line" Avni sees Neil with disbelief.

"Yes! Duh!  " Neil laughs evilly.

"I'll kill you tillu " Avni shouts and run's behind him.

"Omg she will kill me. Please save me someone please.. " Neil shouts running around the  mansion.

"Wait gadha tillu .I won't sleep before killing you today. You made me cry you duck! " Avni yells throwing a pillow on him.

"Duck! " Neil made a weird face and that second Avni's thrown pillow hits his face directly making him wince with pain.

"caught ya ".Avni exclaims as she grabs Neil's arm and pulls him towards her , coz of the ill balance they both fall upon each other.

Avni looks at Neil's eyes directly . She could feel her breaths turning shallow. They were alone as neela, sweta left to kitchen.

"I'm sorry avi for laughing at you. But the actual truth Is  I couldn't even imagine how beautiful you looked today". Neil mutters.

" will you please wear for me again ?" he adds tugging her baby hairs behind her ear.

That's it Avni's cheeks flushed red. She could feel her body getting immobilized as the thought of Neil asking her to wear the dress.

"You like it? "  Avni whispers.

"Absolutely. You look goddess! "

Avni smiles broadly.

"I'll wear everything you want tillu.. Everything you love... Everything that make you happy... " Avni thinks and smiles to herself.

"Why are you smiling? " Neil furrows his eyes at avni.

"Nothing just like that " she says and gets up from him. "Now go to your house. And yeah be ready Sharp 6o'clock. I'll come and pick you. We are going somewhere " she adds.

Neil opened his mouth to ask where they are going  but immediately closed coz he knew she would never open her mouth. It's just waste of energy and time.

"Okay.. And ya take care " Neil waves a bye and leaves to his house

"Be ready for surprise tillu....I mean... Neeil...i just hope you like my surprise " Avni blushes thinking.
