After two years!....

Neil's Pov -

"Avi, for God Sake stop your drama and like a good girl Drink this milk" I rubbed my forehead saying  to my beloved wife who's annoying me from past one hour just to avoid drinking milk. She is sitting on bed with a tissue around her nose wiping the fake tears that brimmed down her cheeks.

"No,Tillu. Do you really think I'm acting? ". Avi hiccuped. She made her eyes big and glassy like a puppy which could melt anyone even the coldest person present on this earth.

I starred at her with disbelief.

Today I'm not going to melt for those puppy eyes. That's it.

"I'm not a fool avi. Damn! From past nine months I've been watching this act like almost every day. So now, stop all this and drink milk and take medicine. " I said sternly, I tried my best to sound serious because she always did this to me to make me turn according to her needs but today A big no.

She muttered something under her breath and glared at me.

"Come-on drink quietly without any excuse's. " I handled her the milk glass which contained protein x powder. Avi hates milk and when I add this powder ,she hates it to the core and she does all these things to avoid the glass of milk.

"Tillu, You don't love me anymore. . " She whispered, her eyes glassed with fake tears. I can literally differentiate real vs fake tears of her. I've been watching this since childhood. She can't fool me.

"I hate you. You don't love me anymore. " she again said, glaring at me.

My eyes narrowed hearing her ruthless accuse.

"You don't love me tillu. You love only our baby. " she said pointing towards the fully grown bump.

My eyes traveled to her bump and then to her face.

"Is it so? " I asked amused. My brows crooked up hearing her words.

Oh lord, she even forgot my love to skip milk.

"Yes tillu, even I'm observing from past nine months ,your love for me started decreasing. " she said in an taunting way imitating me.

"You always wants me to eat those boiled veggies, green stuff, milk and medicines which I hate to the core." She whined like a child and her baggy white T-shirt which consisted of a panda face on the front  is not at all doing good to my eyes. She exactly looked like a cute white little panda with a bump.

I sighed and kneed down to bed level.

I hiked her T-shirt up revealing her swollen stomach.

"See, how your mumma is accusing me." I caressed her bumb saying.

"Do tell your mumma, that her tillu hubby loves her more than anything" I pecked on her stomach before ,I looked up to see avi frowning.

"Tillu, You're complaining to our baby about me? you're so bad. " avi said lowly. Her angry pout is making her look uber cute.

"Baby, Don't listen to your tillu daddy. He is lying." she said to the baby caressing her womb with her little hands.

Awie...

I smiled with glassed eyes .she is so innocent and I swear she'd be cutest mom ever in history.

I never knew we will be in this phase. From the adulthood, I loved avi and fantasised about marriage and kids.but I never thought my dreams would come true. From the time I had been married with my love avi, every day I pinched myself to feel this is not a dream.

We are married, and it's been two years of our marriage. Can you believe, two years. Gosh! It feel like yesterday.

After a year, avi turned out to be pregnant with our first child.

You can't imagine how  I ruined the moment when avi disclosed the news of her pregnancy to me.

Literally, I fainted on the spot as soon as I heard the news of being father. After an hour I woke up with many emotions swirling in my brain.

Parent's, preggo, avi. These were all thing's that flip flopped inside of me. I was confused, happy and what not. It was the beautiful feeling that I couldn't describe in words.

Honest to say, I never wanted avi to be pregnant to this much soon. Because I know she is still weak and not mature enough to take a huge responsibility of being mother but my foolishness led to this. I always ensured to use protection because I still remember how much I got scared when I realized I haven't used protection on our first night. But, still I've been an idiot Coz I can't control myself in front of avi, later Twice we had unprotected sex and I got her pregnant quickly.

I'm not saying that I'm not happy with Abu's pregnancy but the thing is ; Avi her pain makes me feel guilt. In our first encounter in hospital, doctor told us avi's weight is not enough to bear a baby. She'd have complications later. I thought of abortion at that time, I can't even imagine her undergoing pain. I just can't... but my mom, dad everyone convinced me alot to not to do that thing. But still I feel sad especially, her morning sickness took toll alot on me. She cries with constant vomiting that she has to do every morning , and the ache she feel in her stomach.

Watching her in all this mess makes me feel bad everyday like every second. If I'd have controlled myself or I'd have used protection she would have been happy like others.

But let me tell you, Avi acted rebellious when doctor confirmed this news. she jumped like a monkey with excitement not aware of all the pain. She was so happy and joyful. Even now she is happy apart from sickness.

But sometimes she winces with pain at night, and my heart clutches. I sooth her and make her sleep in my arms. This happens every day from  from the time her bump started growing. Avi was given her due in next week, with in seven days she is going to deliver a baby. And I'm scared.

Suddenly I snapped out of my thoughts hearing Avis voice.

"Tillu, I'm going to complain to mummy ji " Avi said sternly looking at me before she stood up from bed.

"What? Complain? " I was confused. What does she want to complain about me? I've been a good husband till now.

"See, Mummyji will scold you. Remember I'll tell her everything. " avi said like child who got her toy stolen and wants to complain to her mumma. She started walking to the hall.

A smile broke through my lips watching her walk like a penguin with ahand on her bumb . Not to be rude, she exactly looks like that.

My baby! My baby penguin !

Suddenly my eyes widened. she is going to complain, means scoldings and lectures.

Oh no!

"Avi.. No.. " I shouted running behind her alas too late she was already beside my mom whispering something into her ear.

I shut my eyes tight.

"Get ready tillu beta , no one will save you now. " I thought to myself, avi has alot of weapons behind her. My mom, dad, my cousin's, asish papa even my dog Oreo. I've only neela ma behind supporting me.

"Mummyji, you know tillu is bad. He made me cry again. "she said to my mom crying.

I gasped. When did I made her cry?

"What tillu's? You made her cry. " Mom shouted and held my right ear twisting them.

"Mom ..mom. Stop she is lying to skip milk. "I shouted before she makes my ears numb.

Mom left my ear , we both looked avi who stood innocently like a doll.

"No mummyji... He is lying. Don't you believe me? I swear on tillu. " she said in a baby tone.

My eyes widened with horror. I'm here husband for God sake. Just to skip milk she does this every day , drama,.acting. I'm habitual to this. I sighed

"I know beta. Tillu is donkey  I'm sorry. " mom kissed her on forehead.

"Okay, drama over. Avi now come and drink your milk " I said seriously.

Avi threw a look to me before turning towards my mom again.

"You know what tillu said? He said you're annoying as hell. You make him irritate. " avi said to my mom.

"what " my mom looked me with pissed expression.

"yes mom, tillu said this to me when you interrupted our kiss in bedroom." she smirked.

Ho God! She will embarrass me to death!

"Tillu is this true, I embarrass you?" mom asked.

"N....o m...om.. " I shuttered.

Mom started scolding me and as a child I stood silent listening to her. Through the session, I glanced at avi. She is giggling and laughing looking at me.

Such a blissful sight.

"You're gone tillu "  she mouthed ,sticking her tongue out.

I nodded my head with disbelief and smiled because her happiness is my happiness.

Lecture was about to take an hour but my Savior neela ma came in interrupting us.

"Arey, sweta why are you scolding our son in law. "

Thank God!

I quickly turned around and hugged neela ma. 

"Thank you so much Ma. Bacha liya "I whispered into her ear before I broke the hug.

I turned towards asish papa and hugged him.

"Daddy! " Avi exclaimed loud and ran to her dad.

"Hey don't run " I said concerned, although we can't consider that as a run because she was running in the speed of turtle yet it's harmful for her. What if she trips?

She didn't listen to me.

"Princess, listen to your husband " Ashish dad said as he  hugged her side ways.

She didn't listen to him to.

I rolled my eyes. Typical avi!

"Daddy, did you brought something for me? " she said with bright eyes looking at the bags in their hands.

"yes, "

That's it, she snatched bags from their hand and went back to the sofa.

"Look at your daughter neela maa. She doesn't listen to anyone. " I complained to neela ma staring at avi who's searching bags like a excited kid.

"Tumhe hi jelna padega Neil. Now she is your responsibility. " she replied smiling.

"By the way sudden surprise why? "

"Nothing wanted to see avni, kitni badi hogyi meri bachi " neela MA cried while Ashish uncle patted her back.

I smiled.

"Daddy, I hate you too. You bought me fruits and all other stuff than chocolates and cakes. " avi huffed, she threw bags a side and crossed her arms with a pout on her lips.

I walked towards her and sat next to her.

"Avi , these are healthy for you and baby. "I said calmly.

"So, everyone now loves baby not me." she frowned looking at her parents. "Even my mom and dad "

"It's not like that avi " neela ma said.

"No it's like that. You guys love baby more than me . I'm observing everything " her face saddened. I sighed.

"Okay, if you drink milk in return you will get nutella and chocolate cake. Deal okay? " I said hoping this would make her mood better.

Her eyes widened with excitement.

"Really tillu. Will you give me nutella and cake ?" she screamed with happiness.

"Yup " I nodded.

"Give me, I'll drink milk. " she stated.

"I'll just warm it a bit, stay here. " I kissed her on forehead before I left to kitchen

When I got back to hall. No one is there except avi. Maybe mom took neela ma to her room. Avi was watching kid vs Kat cartoon on tv. It's her favorite cartoon, she watched all episodes yet she doesn't lose interest.

"Come on coop you can do it ,Beat mr. Kat. " she said encouragingly to the screen. I smiled broadly at the cute sight.

"Avi your milk. " I sat next to her on sofa.

She looked at me then milk.

"Paakka, you will give me nutella na?" she asked cutely.

"Its been a week since I had chocolate tillu. " she said sadly. Even I want to give her everything but considering her health, I'm acting strict to her.

"Sweety, your tillu will never break promise. " I said and pecked her plump lips lightly.

She nodded and drank milk making numerous faces.

"Finally, happy tillu " she rolled her eyes.

"Good, now medicines "

"I hate you Tillu ! " She hit my arm.

The clock striked 11 : 00 Am. Thank God she drank milk and took her morning medicines.  still avi was watching her favorite TV show while I was starring at her beautiful face.

I could tell myself, I've changed so much since avi got pregnant. I've become protective towards her, my love for her turned infinite times more and finally I turned into a perfect husband material. Not to forget her mood swings, believe me she has worst level mood swings in the world. I don't remember how many times I've slept on couch, even outside of room just because I've denied to give her favorite things. But that's what makes me love her more, her each and every antics is beautiful and it flutters my heart to another level.

Suddenly I snapped out of my thoughts as soon as I felt hand crawling into my thigh. I turned aside and saw avi, who had a painful expression on her face.

"What happened? " I asked worried.

"Tillu.. I need to pee.... " she said in a cute little kid voice.

"come on " I said taking her hand. I made her stand from sofa before I grabbed her back gently monitoring towards the washroom.

"Shall I come inside? " I asked as soon as we reached out side of washroom it's because I can't take risk of any accident.

"yeah, please unbutton my shorts. It's been difficult for me to do. " she said. "And.. Panty too " she flustered saying.

"There's no need to embarrass baby.as a husband it's my duty to make sure you're fine."  I caressed her cheeks. I did this many times but she is really shy to ask me. Few times she called my mom.

I took her inside. I kneeled down and slowly unclasped the buttons of her loose shorts.

"Tillu.. Fast... It's urgent. " she whined wigging her legs.

"oops..sorry " I laughed a bit and pulled down her shorts and panty.

She quickly went inside of toilet while I waited aside.

"Tillu I'm done " she shouted.

"yeah.. coming " I replied walking to her with shorts and panty.

She stood their with a tired expression.

"what happened? " I asked , her face looked dull.

"Tillu, I'm sleepy " she muttered with sleepy, eyes. Her eyelids fluttered. She held my shoulders to support herself to stand. Her sleeping schedule has changed alot, she sleeps at afternoon and she is wide awake at nights.

"Just few minutes baby, wear this  and I'll take to bed " I said. I fastly made he wear clothes before I slowly scooped her in my arms . She is falling asleep when I did that. I walked towards our room.

I gently layed her on bed by this time she is sleeping.

I turned AC on. Adjusted temperature into moderate.

I starred at her. she is sleeping peacefully. I sat at the edge of bed and took her feet in my hands.

Being pregnant makes foot swollen and makes them sting. I know, but avi never admits it. She never says anything, because she thinks I'd get worried.

I pressed my hands into her feet gently massaging with my hands. I smiled starring at the cute girl that stole my heart and my everything.

Still can't believe she is going to deliver a baby in a week. but I'm scared, what if something happens. If any thing happens to her at the time of labor then I swear I'd never forgive myself.
