2 weeks later

Coming back from my 'mission', I walk onto the Bounty. "Welcome back Kai, how was the mission." Cole asks. "Mostly patrols, got to bash a few thugs. How was things here." I ask. "Mostly quite, a blacksmith named Kailina came shortly after you left, she fixed and restocked all our weapons." Jay said. I nod as Cole catches my eye. With a slight nod, he goes into the Bounty. I go into the kitchen, Zane cooking. "Welcome back Kai, I'm making roast. Can you put a pot of rice on." He says. I 'mhm' getting the rice and pot out. "Three rice, one and a half water." I ask. "Yep." I set it up and in an hour, we're eating. Later I'm in my room, pulling off my gi when a light knock sounds. Looking last the curtain, its Cole. He comes in as I pull out a gown. Back turned, I quickly change. Tapping his shoulder, he turns, eyes go wide. "Your..beautiful." Cole said. I blush, sitting on the bed, he joins me." So why hide." He asks. "I use to be full of life, nothing could bring me down. But one night, I was kidnapped. By Nya's dad." Cole arches an eyebrow, confused. "My real father is sensei." I say. "Does Wu know." He asks, I shake my head. "The reason I hide my gender is when I turned seven, Ray would....'play' with me." I say, tears starting to fall. Cole wraps his arms around me as I break down. All the stress, pain, the load of everything just too much. Cole leans back, pulling me on his lap as I just sob on his shoulder, rubbing circles on my back. "I don't care, nor do I want to know why. But you are the strongest person I know." Cole begins, pulling away. He wrips my eyes. "Anyone would love to have someone like you. In fact, I'd like to ask, will you take me as you boyfriend." Cole said. I look at hem " If you'll have me as broken as I am as a girlfriend." I say. Cole leans forward, softly kissing me. "Let me be your rock." Cole said when he pulls back. I nod, he lays down, I curl into his chest. As sleep takes me, I know, I in good hands.
