As a Countess of Outworld's Royal Court, she developed a close friendship with Kitana & Mileena at a very young age. So much so that people started claiming that the three are sisters.

However, her past holds a dark secret: she was actually a spy for General Shao to keep tabs on the Royal Family since Quan Chi falsely prophesied Liu Kang destroying Outworld.

But after getting to know the Fire God & learning of General Shan's betrayal, Countess Jade took to her Sisters in arms side and opposed him. Now promoted to a higher calling as Kitana's Head of the Stealth Operations.
