If one word could describe how Y/N was feeling at this moment, it would be, 'exhausted'.

For what seems like an eternity, Y/N had found himself thrust into different worlds, often against his will. Each one varied wildly but most of the time he'd end up in a place where he was a "summoned hero" and he'd have to go on a "grand quest" in order to save the planet.

A grand "quest" that should have taken years, maybe even decades, but Y/N usually finished them in three days, sometimes in a few hours.

At the moment Y/N was was staring blankly off into the distance as he sat on the brutalized corpse of a massive creature.

It would likely make sense to actually figure out what he killed, but Y/N was far too tired to look. He was pretty sure he was sitting on its head.

Princess Lumara: Oh great hero! Thank you for saving our world from the wrath of the evil god!

From below where Y/N was sitting a young elven woman approached. Y/N glanced at the elf, and then stared back into the distance.

(Y/N): ...yeah...

Princess Lumara: It is thanks to your efforts that our world has finally obtained peace!

Y/N wasn't really paying attention, not because what the princess was saying was wrong or that he was being rude, but because he's heard this speech more times than he'd like to admit. Y/N slumped onto his side and wished he was somewhere else.

The patchwork armor that Y/N stitched together was tattered, beaten, and falling apart, a sign of the sheer number of battles he'd been through.

Princess Lumara: If there is anything that I can do to reward you, please do not hesitate to ask.

Still lying on the enormous corpse Y/N rolled on to his back and responded.

(Y/N): I wanna go home please...

Princess Lumara: Y-you'd like to leave!?

(Y/N): Yes. Today please...

Princess Lumara: T-today!? But- O-okay... I'm sure our wizard can help you with that...

A Few Hours Later.

The Palace Summoning Circle

Y/N stood in the center of the mystical circle, still looking tired, while the wizard was channeling magic.

(Y/N): The first thing I'm gonna do when I get home, is shower. Then I'm going to sleep, and never wake up... -_-

Y/N was happily imagining the things he'd do when he finally got back to his home back on Earth. As he did so, the princess quietly spoke to the wizard.

Princess Lumara: He seems... happy that he's leaving...

The Grand Wizard: Hm? it would seem so.

Princess Lumara: *sigh* Were we that bad to him?

The Grand Wizard: Do not take it personally, princess. When I first summoned him, a few days ago, the face he made when he got here was that of someone who was exhausted of battle.

Princess Lumara: Wait. He was summoned a few days ago? I thought he had been here for years!

The Grand Wizard: Indeed. After I summoned him, I explained our situation and had assumed it would have taken him years to defeat the evil god, instead, he won in a matter of days.

Princess Lumara: W-Wow.

The princess looked back at the tired hero that saved her world, to say she was surprised would be an understatement. She truly believed that Y/N was on his quest for years, to find out that he'd manage to accomplish something what generations of heroes failed to achieve in a mere few days was a serious wake up call to her.

The Grand Wizard: Haha, that was exactly my reaction. I'd like to tell you that the fight with the Evil God was epic and climatic beyond belief, but it was over in mere moments.

The Princess looked at Y/N in an entirely new way, while she was still surprised that he was leaving so soon, her real thoughts were...

Princess Lumara: Just who are you?...

As she finished her thoughts, so to did the wizard finish his channeling of magic.

The Grand Wizard: Ah! There were go! Okay, everything is ready. Are you ready, Y/N?

(Y/N): -_- Yes, send me home now...

The Wizard nodded and the circle started to glow brighter and brighter, and then in a flash of light Y/N was gone, sent back to his home world.

Princess Lumara: *sigh* It would have been nice if he'd stayed...

The Grand Wizard: Haha! It most certainly would have! Let's go, my lady, we have work to do...

Y/N found himself soaring through a large tunnel of light.

(Y/N): Ugh, it's finally over. I can finally go home and start thinking about moving on. *sigh* I gotta start thinking about looking for a school to finish my education...

As Y/N flew through the tunnel of light, the whole tube shook as black bolts of electricity began to shoot out from the walls.

(Y/N): Ow. OW! What the hell is going on?

The light in the tube began to fade and change to a blackened color as the electricity became more intense. Ricocheting Y/N around the tube.

(Y/N): Ow! Ow! Why!? Q_Q

Eventually a bright light filled the tube and before Y/N knew it, he was engulfed in a huge explosion.

Some Time Later

The wilderness?

(Y/N): (muffled) Ow.

After the explosion, Y/N found himself face down in dirt.

(Y/N): (muffled) *sigh* I hate dimension hopping...

Slowly, Y/N picked himself up off the ground and gathered his bearings. Wherever he landed, it was well into the night, the signs being the cool air and the faint sound of crickets. Fortunately for him, it wasn't pitch black as there was just enough moonlight for him to see.

(Y/N): Ugh.... I feel like I was put through a meat grinder... again.

Y/N rubbed his eyes and when they finally adjusted to the darkness he noticed that he was in a large crater. The crater itself wasn't too deep that Y/N couldn't see over it, but the area in and around it was completely burnt.

(Y/N): Oh crap.... I guess that's my fault...

Looking around more closely, Y/N noticed that the scorched ground he created was at least one-hundred yards in diameter, luckily he landed it what looked like the wilderness.

(Y/N): Thank god I didn't land in a city... *stretches* Now I just need to find out, where on... Earth.... I... am...

As Y/N was stretching, he looked up and spotted the moon... or rather, the shattered moon.

(Y/N): ._. The fuck happened to the moon?...

As Y/N was processing what he was looking at, he heard a growl coming from the tree line. When he looked at the source of the noise, Y/N noticed he was encircled by jet black creatures, that resembled different animals. Each had white spikes protruding from their backs and sinister red glowing eyes.

(Y/N): ._. The fuck happened to the animals?...

Slowly, more and more of these monstrosities began to emerge from the treeline, some resembling wolfs, giant-snakes, scorpions, and spiders.

(Y/N): I better not be in another hell dimension. I drew the line with those demon cows in the last one!

As Y/N was complaining to himself, what once seemed like a small group of these strange creatures quickly became an enormous swarm of them. Gradually, more and more creatures kept emerging from the tree line just outside of the scorched circle, all of them slowly approaching Y/N.

(Y/N): Wait a minute, what if these are the people who inhabit this world?

Y/N looked back up at the horrifying forms approaching him.

(Y/N): Maybe they're friendly? They're probably just scared that a strange person blew up a part of the forest! I can't judge a book on its cover, just because they look frightening doesn't necessarily mean they're evil.

Y/N rose to his feet and straightened himself out and looked at the nearest creature to him.

(Y/N): *ahem* Hello! My name is (F/N) (L/N) and I come in peace!

The creature that Y/N was speaking to had the appearance of a huge bear, but was covered in huge white spikes like the others. It didn't react to Y/N's words and continued to slowly approach him.

(Y/N): Hmmm... maybe there's a language barrier? Well then... what about a gesture of good will?

Y/N opened his hand and stuck his arm out in a motion to shake hands. The creature, now a mere few feet from Y/N looked at his hand.

(Y/N): ...Friends?

Y/N looked hopefully at the huge bear, who responded by lunging at Y/N biting his hand and and part of his arm.

(Y/N): ._. ............

(Y/N): AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

With a resounding roar, Y/N's scream was muffled out and he was swarmed by the army of creatures that had appeared from the woods.

2 minutes and 23 seconds later...

(Y/N): Well, that was traumatizing!

Y/N was walking away from the large crater, shaking off the leftover drool that was still on his arm.

(Y/N): Eugh... Gross. Bear drool...

As he kept walking Y/N stumbled upon a dirt road.

(Y/N): A road? A road! Maybe there ARE people here that aren't horrifying monsters!... God I hope there are... -_-

Y/N turned and began to follow the road, with a hopeful glint in his eye.

(Y/N): Hopefully, this place isn't gonna be too crazy...

This shall also be my first "original story" as in, I won't be following the plot of "RWBY" exactly. I really hope you guys will enjoy my story.

As a side note: Please note as of writing this, "RWBY Volume: 6" Has not yet released. So if there is any mind-blowing thing that happens in that season, I did not know it.
