"I want to be an Aura Guardian." Ash proudly claimed with a grin on his face.

The distorted world was suddenly filled with the booming roar of the Pokemon who gathered in the area. From the giant and mighty Onix and Kyogre to the tiny Flabébé and Combee, all of them added fuel to the roar. Pokemon who were miles away from the area could hear the deafening yell. Pokemon like slowpoke and Slakoth were rudely woken from their sombre slumber. The dirt and rock ground shook vigorously with all the sound waves created in such a small amount of time. Pebbles started bouncing. It felt like a small Earthquake to those unaware of the celebration.
Arceus then marched forward. Silencing the once boisterous crowd. Arceus opened his large mouth to speak but was then, rudely interrupted by a mighty yelp. The dreaded... baby Pokemon. A dozen baby Pokemon rushed out and stopped in front of Ash. Not caring that the God Pokemon wanted to speak. Pokemon like Pichu, Clefairy, Togepi, Igglytuff and a variety of others all marvelled at the creature presented to them. "Ooooo. The creature is back again. What type of Pokemon are you?" the babies innocently ask.
"Um. I'm not a Pokemon. My name is Ash. I'm a human." the boy sheepishly replied.
"Human. Weird name for a Pokemon. Doesn't matter. As long as we can play with you." The baby pokemon yelled.
Suddenly the group ravenously knocked him down. Making him realised that they were the babies same from yesterday. The group scampered all over the boy's body and eventually started to form a pile on him. "Hahaha. Guys. Stop, you... are making... it... hard to... breath now. Arecues... can you tell them to... stop." Ash tried to exclaim with the hindrance of laughter in his voice.
"They are babies. They don't listen to anyone. Not even me. Their God..." Arceus announced, making everyone chuckle.
"That's were your wrong Arceus," Pikachu cooly exclaims. "Let me show you how it's done." Pikachu then stepped forward, standing a couple of meters away from where the baby Pokemon were trampling over Ash.
"Ahem (Clears throat). Kids! It's time to stop now!" Pikachu bellowed. The baby pokemon then stop and stare at Pikachu. Swiftly, the group jumps off Ash and line up in front of Pikachu. With an innocently look on their faces, as they hear Ash Groan and pant heavily.
Foolishly the mouse announces, "See. I told you. I am just naturally gifted with these things."
Abruptly, their faces changed, like an angel to a devil, the look of evil found from hell appeared. Making Pikachu take a couple of steps back due to being scared out of its fur. Pichu then announces, "No one.... tell us what to do."
"Ahhh. This must be some... misunderstanding. A prank you know? Please don't hurt" Pikachu nervously pleaded.
Rejecting the plead, the Pokemon then rushed Pikachu. Before the yellow creature could mutter "Wait" the devious group piled onto Pikachu. Submerging him under the pile of Pokemon.
"AHHHHH help!" A pleading voice could be heard being muffled from the bottom of the pile. All Pokemon who gathered all sweatdropped. All except Lucario. His face as Serious as stone.
Unfazed the canid-like aura Pokémon step forward and announced, "Ash. Its time to begin your journey as you Aura Guardian. Are you ready?
"Yes, I can't wait" Ash replies without hesitation while pumping his fist.
Lucario, unphased by the boy's actions, authoritatively demands, "Follow me." The aura Pokemon then turned away from the boy and walked down one of the many bridges connecting the islands. The Pokemon who gathered started to dissipate. Going back to their daily lives. Leaving, Arceus, Mew, Ash, and Pikachu, who was still being buried alive.
"Come on Ash lets go." Mew injected. The pair hastily started walking to the same bridge Lucario was travelling.
"No, don't leave me under here. Help!" Pikachu begged while still being trampled by the baby pokemon. Bringing Ash to a stop.
Arceus then quickly turned to Ash and stated, "Don't worry it's normal. He will get out... Eventually." Ash hesitatingly nodded his head and quickly turned back. Hastily, he ran to catch up to Lucario, who was being annoyed by a swirling Mew.
***
After walking through the dull lands of the reverse world, Lucario pointed into the distance and announced, "Over there. That is where we will train." When the others looked up, they saw an oasis. It stood out like a Magikarp out of water. Surrounded by the dirt, and rocky background, with the occasional distorted building, stood a beautiful green block. With an abundance of flora and fauna. It is the first time Ash saw the environment green in this dimension. It gave him the bubbly feeling of being back home in Vidiran forest.
The group was soon in the thick of the oasis. Surrounded by the towering lushes trees and boxed in by large bushes forcing them down a narrow path. The group had to push and cut through the shrubbery that has grown over the small path.
"Em. Lucario, how much further?" Ash inquired.
"Patience, Ash. Some things take time to bloom," Lucario answered ambiguously. Making Ash pout behind him. Can't he give a straight answer
Suddenly, after a couple more minute of walking, the claustrophobic forest disappeared leaving a massive oval clearing. With a crystal clear lake, planted right in the middle of the clearing. There was an abundance of pokemon enjoying the water and the rich green tall grass near the tree line. It was like Ash was transported back to Vidiran forest. The only difference is the lack of human intervention. And of course, the pokemon playing in the area.
Throughout Ash's 16 years of life, he always dreamed about Pokemon being real. He dreamed of being a pokemon master. A champion. But at the time, he knew deep down that these ambitions were unreachable. It's like a child reaching up to the night sky to touch the millions of stars raining down. You can't. You can see it, you can imagine it, but you can't obtain it. Well, he thought this way, until 24 hours ago. These amazing creatures were right under his nose. Just in another dimension. These mythical creatures were apart of human history for a brief amount of time. But then were seemingly snapped out of existence. It made Ash think, What would life be like with Pokemon? Would it be the harmonise world that the games and anime present to viewers? Or would the lust for power and greed make take over humans? Using pokemon to destroy the world and in acts of war and violence.
Bringing out Ash from his pondering state Lucario then turned to Ash and questioned, "Worth the wait?"
All Ash could mutter was a simple "Yes," as he took in the clear smell and activities in front of him. When satisfied he turned back to Lucario and inquired "What's the first aura ability I'm going to learn?"
"Well, you already learnt one," Lucario revealed.
Ash's eyes widen at the revelation. "How? And what is it?" Ash questioned.
"Can you understand Pikachu?... What about Typohlison or any pokemon that doesn't use telepathy?" Lucario asked. Ash nodded his head. "Well, that is because of aura. To everyone else, they are speaking in their native tongue. They will not understand what the pokemon is saying. For an aura guardian, it's a passive ability. Meaning you don't have to think about it to use it. It's like breathing. You don't have to tell your body to breath it just does automatically."
"Wow, that's so cool." Ash joyfully exclaimed, his eyes sprinkled in amazement as he fist-pumped.
Ignoring the excitement from the human Lucario nodded his head. "Let's not waste any more time. Now, I'm going to teach you the foundation of aura. But, since you already know what aura is I'm going to teach you on how to read an Aura." The pair then moved a safe distance to where the residential pokemon wouldn't be disturbed by their training. "Sit down Ash." Ash then sat on to the soft grass, crossing his legs.
Lucario posted the questioned, "Look around ash. What do you see?"
This made Ash's head turn on a swivel, rotating his body to do a 360. "Err, Pokemon. Water, trees-"
Lucario sharply interrupted, "No." Making Ash's chocolate brown eyes snap to Lucario. What more is there to see? Ash thought. "That is the image your eyes perceive. Your eyes can play tricks on you. Sometimes you see things that aren't there. And sometimes you can't see things that are there. If you wish to see aura, then you must see things from a different perspective. Close your eyes."
Ash immediately obeyed by taking off his bag and closing his eyes. After a couple of seconds, a strange aroma filled his nostrils. It wasn't clean and elegant as the oasis around him. It was the complete opposite, foul and disgusting. Ash eye's shot open to see a yellow mouse pokemon bottom right in his face.
"Ahhh what the hell Pikachu!" Ash exclaimed while quickly pushing Pikachu out of his face.
"That's for not helping me with those devil-," A wolf growl suddenly silenced the complaining mouse.
"Get. Away from my student Pikachu. Or else you will face an even worst devil," Lucario growled, his eyes filled with fury at Pikachu.
Pikachu then slowly backed away and scaredly gulped. He has seen first hand what happens when you interrupt his lesson. The mouse then shakenly stated, "S-S-sorry sir. Won't happen again." Pikachu quickly turned and ran swiftly back to Mew. Cowering behind the mythical pink Pokemon.
"That's what I thought," Lucario huffed. He then turned back to Ash and ordered, "Again close your eyes." This time hesitantly, Ash closed his eyes while peaking at Pikachu. "Do you see anything?"
"The colour black," Ash retorts.
Suddenly, for a split second, the boy felt all his hairs stand up and the warning of danger slithered up his spine. Soon after, Ash felt a surge of pain coming from his left-right cheek. A stiff palm whipped across has fast, knocking the boy unceremoniously to the ground. A whine of pain escaped the mouth of the dazed boy while his hands quickly ran to cover the aching cheek.
Lucario walked up to the hurt boy. Towering over him. The teacher questioned, "Did you see that coming?"
"Sort of... but I definitely felt the aftermath," Ash groaned while gingerly sitting upright. "It's a bit hard to see something coming if I can't see it at all." Lucario let out a small sigh as he shook his head.
"That is why you can't fully feel it. You still rely on your sight too much. Your eyes only look at the outside. Aura looks on the inside. Let go. Forget about what you see and trust what you have on the inside."
"Ok," Ash stoically replies. Taking a deep breath before closing his eyes.
"Remember Ash, trust yourself." Lucario reminded. Soon after silence followed. No creature daring to make a squeak. Ash then suddenly saw a blue beam appear in his vision. Illuminating the black night. However, it quickly disappeared in a flash. Ash again started to feel uneasiness crawl up his spine. Goosebumps started running up his arms and legs. In a flash, a blue fist appeared. Only this time, the blue light was being hurled quickly Ash's forehead. In response, Ash tried to move his head out of the way.
But it was too late.
BAM. Lucario's first goes barreling into Ash's forehead, flooring the boy. His vision began to blur while pain coursed through Ash's head and into his brain. The hit adding to the discolouration forming around his cheek and forehead. That's going to bruise, Ash thinks. The aura pokemon again towered over the boy. His face highlighting no emotion. He then huffed, "Improvements... But still not good enough. Again," not caring at the state that Ash was in
Concerned Mew injected, "Don't you think we should stop Lucario."
"No. Aura won't just pop up like you using teleport. You will need to bond with it. Nurture it like a baby. Carass it like artwork. Its how Sir Aaron mastered it. Through Hours of dedication, he perfected it. Ash has the potential to exceed this level. And that's all it is right now, potential. I have seen students fail due to my incompetence. I'm not going to let that happen to you, Ash."
Lucario then walked up to the bent over Ash and kneeled beside him. "Get up," Lucario ordered. "You still have fight left in you. I know you do. Or are you going to give up." Lucario exclaimed.
A fire was lit in Ash's body, as soon as he heard this. His brown eyes dilated. Give up? Not in a million years. The boy's eyes snapped to Lucario's ruby red eyes. "Hell no. I'm never giving up," Ash barked angrily. Like an arrow being shot, Ash spring back up to his feet. Quickly balancing himself as he felt a wave of dizziness.
Impressed Lucario exclaims, "That's the spirit. Giving up doesn't give you anything. Failure prepares you for the future. Now focus up."
Ash immediately obeys and closes his eyes. Clearing his mind of all the pain lingering around his body. Peace and tranquillity ran through his body. His Aura began to flare, like a fire type activating blaze. Suddenly, Ash's aura picks up a fist coming from his right, aimed at his right cheek. Promptly, Ash swayed to the left, in an attempt to avoid the monstrous hit. The boy felt Lucario's spike glide over his bruised cheek. But, no harmful contact was made. The boy was fine. Pokemon who gathered to see the spectacle exploded with joy for the boy's progress. Ash then leapt up in the sky and yelled, "I did it-." But was promptly stopped Lucarios's fist barreling into the boy's stomach. Cutting the boys and other pokemon celebration as the air from Ash's lungs to rushed out.
Lucario stepped forward and exclaimed, "Good job. You dodged one punch. I don't think your enemies will give up after missing ONE punch."
"Ah... Yes... Very true... Sorry. I got too excited," Ash replied sheepishly.
Lucario smiled at the boy, and stuck a paw out to him, "Don't be sorry. I was playing around. At least you dodged it. It's a big step in the right direction." Lucario explained, hauling the boy to his feet. "Just be prepared and focused for anything after the first move ok?"
"Right," Ash answered while grabbing the outstretched paw of the wolf-like pokemon. Suddenly, while being hoisted up, the feeling of deception started to radiate from the teacher. Ash felt it. In a flash, Lucario's other paw swiped across, in an attempt to blindside the boy. However, Ash was ready for this. In response, Ash released his grip on Lucario and rolled back, successfully avoiding the paw.
"Good," Lucario stated. Even if the words seemed very bland, the aura Pokemon could not be more pleased by Ash's progress. His theory was correct. Ash was born to be an aura user.
Lucario then heard him exclaim, "O my phone." Phone? Lucario thought. What is this phone? Confused Lucario looked to Ash, who was holding a strange, almost alien-like, device. "What is the phone? What does the magical device do?" Lucario questioned while ushering towards the device.
"O this? Phones are mainly used to communicate. But can also be used for a variety of things like reading- O my gosh my face!" Ash yelped. From the reflection of his screen, he saw dark purple bruises covering his cheeks and forehead. Also a variety of cuts and scabs forming along his arms and legs. "O no. My mum is literally going to murder me," Ash worriedly exclaimed
Sympathetically Lucario injected "Er, sorry. I might have used a bit too much force in my punches."
"It's fine. It helped me learn quickly. Even if it did hurt like hell. But my mum is going to flip when she sees me."
"I can help," Lucario announce
"How?" Ash asked.
"Follow me to the lake," Lucario answered while motioning towards the crystal clear lake.
The pair then walked down to the water's edge, with Mew and Pikachu following. The water was as clear as glass, at a glance, one would of though the water wasn't even there. Water pokemon like Magikarp, Feebas and WishiWashi were easily spotted gliding through the still lake. Some may have first thought that the pokemon were floating. But the ripples being created from their movement destroyed the floating effect. Ash stuck his hand into the water to confirm that there was water actually in the lake. When he did he exclaimed, "Wow this water is so clear. How is that?"
"This lake has been untouched for countless of years. Us pokemon have strived to protect this environment and keep in in pristine condition. With the help of aura, we were able to keep it like this. " Lucario answered. Perhaps us humans could learn a thing or two Ash thought. Lucario continued, "Now, jump into the water."
Complying, Ash took off his blue jacket and black singlet, revealing a stomach layered with bruises. Ash could hear a faint gasp from Lucario. Ash was usually self-conscious about showing these bruises. But, he wasn't afraid here. Why? Because he trusts them. They showed him love and compassion when no one did. Yes, even if Lucario teachings methods were... unorthodox, Ash could still sense the caring nature Lucario had for him. Tough love, they would say. Ash then neatly folded the clothes and placed it nearby. Suddenly he dashed to the water and leapt high into the air yelling, "cannonball!" Which created a massive splash that soaked all pokemon in the vicinity. Specifically, Lucario, Pikachu as Mew used to teleport to avoid the water. Ash then resurfaced, his face then slowly relaxed in the calm water. The tiny molecules of the water massaged his battered skin, "Ahhhh. I could stay in here all day. The water feels so good," Ash groaned.
Lucario then stepped into the water and exclaimed, "Ash, this isn't a holiday, we are here to get rid of the ugly makeover you just had. After we do that then you can enjoy it all you want."
"I think this new look is an improvement," Pikachu injected from the shoreline. Soon after two tiny pink paws pushed the mouse in the back. Making the yellow mouse fall into the water.
"The only thing that needs approvement is your attitude," Mew hissed while stopping Pikachu climbing back up from the water.
"Can you two stop!" Lucario exclaimed with an authoritative tone. Forcing Mew to allow Pikachu to climb back and fall onto the grassland.
"Thank you," Lucario stated. "Now just stand still Ash. This may feel weird at first."
Lucario then places his hand mere centimetres (or inches) away from Ash's face. Suddenly, a blue ball starts to be created in the palm of his paw. The blue light then starts to travel into Ash's face, specifically the bruised cheek and forehead. For a moment, a surge of pain shot through Ash's mind. But was quickly overcome with a feeling of calmness and pleasure taking over. After a couple of more seconds, the process stopped. The bruising around his face disappeared into thin air.
"Wow, how did you do it? Is there something special with the water." Ash inquired
"Well mostly no. I just wanted to make the scene more dramatic." Lucario admitted.
"I healed you because of Aura Ash. It flows through every living creature and organism. Meaning several aura particles are flowing through this beautiful lake. As aura signifies life. If the aura disappears, then the organism dies. Us aura users can manipulate aura. Which means we can use it to heal us. But that is for a future lesson. Now I must ask you, why do you have many bruises on your stomach? There is at least 5 in different spots. There should only be one because of me," While beginning to heal the bruises from his stomach
"Um. It's my stepdad," Ash admitted
This caused Lucario to stop. "Who?" He growled while pulling his paw away from the now healed stomach.
"His name is Giovanni," Ash answered
"Giovanni!? As in a man that has pale skin?!" Lucario boomed.
Making Ash jump at Lucario's sudden swing in moods. "Yeah, that's him in the nutshell," Ash answered in a confused tone. "How do you know who he is?"
"I should have disposed of him when I had the chance," Lucario muttered. "3 years ago around this time of the year at the forest, you call Vidiran forest. I saw him commit a horrible act. So I fired an aura sphere at him to chase him away. And it worked he left Vidiran Forest. Now I wish I could have been more than a warning shot.
"Horrible act?"
"Let's not talk about it now," Lucario brushes. "Now come. We need to continue with the next part in your aura training," Lucario demanded while getting out of the lake.
???
Again, the dreaded phone began to ring around Giovanni's steal encapsulated room. The ringing echoing like a pokemon using screech. A pale hand then grabbed the phone and brought it to his ear. Apart from the shallow breaths that can be heard from the other end, no sounds were shared.
"What is it," Giovanni asked in an authoritative tone.
"I got big news," A husky voice replied.
This made Giovanni sit up in his leather chair. His whole mind being drawn toward the mysterious voice.
"There has been an increase in energy in certain areas of the world. Tomorrow, at noon. I'll be in Vermillion city. The Habour specifically. Be there, or else you will miss me." The mysterious voice continued.
Making Giovanni's black eyes narrow at the offer. "I can't, I am the principle of Pallet high. I can't just leave-"
"You're a smart man Giovanni. Find a way around it. Or I'll go to the site myself," The voice interrupted.
Giovanni let out an annoyed huff as he realised he was trapped in a dead-end. And there was only one way out. "Fine," he announced angrily. "I'll think of something. I'm guessing you will be easy to find due to your... fiery appearance?"
"Of course. You can't miss me," the voice smoothly answered.
"And where is this site exactly?" The pale man inquired.
"It's a place you know too well Giovanni... Vidiran Forest."
An evil grin started to bloom on the face of the devious man, "Good."
