Milk

"Kathie is great!" Frankie squealed. "I think we're going to be the best of friends!"

"Eh, don't get your hopes to high when you meet Marklin." Clawdeen smirked. "But he does know his fashion."

"Sorry I'm late!" Draculaura squealed as she ran in. "Timmy is so cute!" She squealed again.

"These new students are amazing!" Frankie smiled brightly. "And Jackson told me that our new teacher is really nice!"

"Yes, yes, but do they know who their queen is?" Cleo rose up. The others stared at her, making her laugh a bit. "I'm joking... a little." The girls giggled.

"I have a great feeling about them!" Frankie smiled. "Let's make sure that their first day is the best first day ever!"

Just then, Marklin rolled down the halway, hissing. Not at anything, just one long hiss; he kept walking.

"See what I mean?" Clawdeen smirked.

Suddenly down the hallway, the new teacher was heard yelling at the top of their lungs, Marklin suddenly bolted the opposite direction not even thinking about his record for longest hiss. The girls watched him run, looking back to where the new teacher was.

"That doesn't sound very nice, Frankie." Cleo spoke up.

"Jackson wouldn't lie." Frankie quickly retorted. "Besides, it was her own kid. He probably did something."

"Yes, but he's a normie. And we all saw her youngest." Cleo rolled her eyes. "She might just be a normie sympathizer."

"I don't see anything wrong with that." Frankie replied. "And that still doesn't mean that she's mean. Have a little hope!"

A hand that was sticking out of the wall, holding a phone, quickly retracted. Draculaura heard her phone buzz, quickly seeing that it was a new post in the Ghostly Gossip. "Oooo there's a new post!"

"What's the title?" Clawdeen asked, a little apprehensive.

"It says, 'New Teacher: a Normie Sympathizer!?'" The ghouls looked at each other, all concerned. All around them, the other students phone's went off, and soon all were reading the newest post from the ghost.

______________

Cass turned around and looked at her class. "Do you understand that?"

Jackson was really the only one to nod, the other students either not paying attention or looking lost.

"Well, session is almost over, so read it in your books or ask me tomorrow morning, I have to unfortunately buy milk this evening." Cass looked around. "Anyone know if I should go into Salem or Keiser?"

"You mean the normie towns?" Draculaura tilted her head. "Why would you want to go there?"

"To buy milk. Do you have no comprehension." Cass called, putting her hands on her hips and here eyes narrowing.

"Why waste a disguise to buy milk when you could just go to the monster grocery store?" Clawdeen questioned.

"Yeah, I like cow milk thank you. My child is sensitive to that." Cass sighed, "Look what town has good milk prices and or is nicer in general?"

"None of their towns are nice." Cleo said, apparently listening to the conversation, even though she looked like she couldn't care less.

"Yeah, dude. The normies are never nice." Cleo's boyfriend, Deuce, said beside her.

"Let me guess, Rival schools?" Cass crossed her arms. "And stop with the Normie thing, I'm pretty sure you are all using it wrong and appropriately."

"Normies are what we call the humans." Jackson quickly said, getting a bit of glares from some people in the class.

"And it's more like rival species." Clawdeen rolled her eyes. "If we step into a normie village, we'll be killed!"

"Oh please-" Cass thought for a few seconds, "Oh."

"I'm sure it's not that bad, Clawdeen." Frankie spoke up.

"Oh no, Frankie! It's worse!" Draculaura looked frightened.

"Oh no my Father!" Cass turned to the board and started to fret.

"He's probably choking on a bird." Marklin called sleepily.

"Or a d-" Kathie was elbowed by Marklin. "HEY!"

"I don't think that's safe." Frankie said.

Cass dropped to her knees. "Children shut UP!" Cass turned to her own children. "He stopped eating birds two years ago!"

"Mreoooow, he must've been an ameture." Toralei Stripes laughed with her cat possy, Purrsephone and Meowlody, before coughing up a feather.

"Aw, you are such a hypocrite." Cleo cooed sarcastically, causing Toralei to growl a bit. The bell rang.

___________

Marklin was yet again at his locker organizing books. Cleo and Draculaura walked past, both in fearleading outfits.

Draculaura stopped. "Marklin! Have you signed up for any after school activities?"

Marklin snorted. "Nein."

"You have to join one!" Draculaura stressed. "Oh! I know, you can join the fearleading squad!"

Marklin perked up.

"Excuse me?" Cleo spoke up, quickly whipping her head back around. She walked back to the two, eyeing Marklin up and down. "I don't think so. We don't need anyone dragging us down."

Marklin gasped offendedly. "The only thing that's going to weigh you down is that layer of foundation and concealer."

Cleo gasped. "How dare you disrespect me?"

"Cleo...." Draculaura begged. "Can't he at least try out?"

"There is no way I'd let someone with such disrespect join our fearleading squad!" Cleo huffed, mind made up.

"To bad you'll have to quit." Marklin snapped.

Cleo glared at him before sashaying away. Draculaura looked to Marklin. "Sorry about her; she's usually really nice, I promise!" She then looked to Cleo. "um, I better get going! Hope you find an activity that you like!" And both the girls disappeared into the gym.

Marklin seethed for a few moments, slightly angered and definitely hurt in some way. That didn't last for long, though, as two monsters sped past.

One was in a shopping cart, sing shouting, "AH YEAHHHHHH!" as the other was pushing him. They took a sharp turn into a nearby classroom.

Marklin looked on for a few moments, he then closed his locker and walked towards the classroom.

Inside, two monster crashed into the wall, both laughing. One was a blue monster with fiery red hair and the other was a light purple with a beautiful design almost etched onto her face.

Marklin watched them quietly.

The girl sat up, wiping a tear from her eye. "Oh, Holt, you have the best ideas." She burst into laughter again as the other adjusted the headphones on his head.

"Let's hope none of the equipment broke." He laughed a bit as he sat up, checking the instruments that were apparently in the shopping cart. There was a keytar, a guitar, and a microphone that were somehow all miraculously not damaged. Also in the room was a few speakers and a drum set.

Seeing that their equipment was alright, the girl then turned to Marklin, already having seen him. "Everything alright there, sugar?"

"Uhm, yes." Marklin started to back away.

"You don't have to leave just yet now." She smiled, laying a hand on her hip. She glanced back to the monster named Holt. "We don't mind if you wanna sit in a watch, right?"

"Holt Hyde always digs a crowd." he finger gunned.

"Erm, ok."

"I'm Operetta." She held out her hand. "That's Holt. And you are?"

"Marklin." He took her hand and shook firmly.

She shook back just as firmly before putting both hands on her hips. "We're the outcast music club." She rolled her eyes.

"You blow up the old one or just not like the people?" Marklin asked.

"We got kicked out." Holt rolled his eyes.

"He's a mess and they were tryin' to force me to sing." Operetta glared across the hallway, where a closed door was, musical sounds coming from it.

"So, we started our own band!" Holt sprang up.

Marklin looked at them, "That sounds nice."

Operetta picked up the guitar, strumming it a bit and finding that it was still tuned correctly. She played it a small bit before smirking and handing it to Marklin. "Let's see what you've got."

Marklin looked at the guitar and put the strap over his head. "I'm not good off of my own guitar but we can see." Marklin started to shred.

Holt grinned, moving one of his ear phones back off of his ear without worry. "Rockin'!"

Operetta picked up the keytar, starting to play along with Marklin. Holt quickly moved to the drumset, quickly going along with the music.

Marklin finally stopped eventually. He looked around. "W-why are you, also playing? When did, did you start?"

Operetta laughed as she set the keytar down. "Lost in the music; I like it. You're in!"

Marklin smiled. Holt covered his ear again as he grinned wide. "We'll be the best band ever!"
