Chapter 1 : What have I done?

The night sky seemed to be darker than before; even if it was full moon and there were millions of stars on the sky, nothing light up the sky that night. The air felt colder and the wind furiously shook the trees in the dark forest. Making it hard for a young girl with orange haired and glowing red eyes. She tighten up her coat, moving in full speed towards an old looking factory. The place was a mess and the wall were all covered with leaves and it was rusty; people would think it was just a forbidden factory.

But not for Light Blaze.

Blaze rushed into the factory and panted. Slightly relieved to escaped the furious winds. Once the girl gained back a little energy, her eyes darted around as if she was looking for something. Spotting a lever, she pulled it and to not her surprised, the ground shook and a secret ladder heading into the ground appeared. Smiling a bit, she went down, unaware of the entrance that she just took has closed. Blaze wriggled her fingers and a small flames of fires appeared, lighting up the place. And it seemed to be a mine. She saw a cart and hopped into it. The cart slowly moved automatically. Blaze peered out the cart, keeping her guard up as she was heading deeper into the dump mine. On her ways, she saw another 2 carts moving beside her and in the carts were full of crystal, jewels and what it seemed to be blue crystal that glows like fires. The cart suddenly stopped and Blaze gasped, tripping and fell flat on her face. She groaned in annoyance as she peered out of the cart again but then hid back when a man in black suit wearing mask walked passed the cart she was in. When Blaze looked up back, there were at least 2 man with the same outfit as they checked the carts one by one.

" Look at this one," One of them spoke, taking out a blue crystal, " Ain't it beautiful?" He kissed the crystal.

" You won't say that if it won't for money." Another one said, laughing as he watched his friend pouted although they were wearing mask.

One of them walked towards Blaze's cart and with one look in the cart, a kick was send on his face. Blaze jumped out of the cart not even bothered to attract another man's attention. She punched the first guy and then hit the second guy. Putting all her strength in her hands, she choked the men to the ground, making them unconscious. Enough to give Blaze more times. She saw a metal door and ran towards it. She pulled the doorknob and she ran right into what it seemed to be a lab full of people. Blaze hid behind a gas tank, hiding from those people lab coat. She slowly tip toed towards the hallway. A relief sigh escaped her mouth when no one was in the hallway with her. Blaze started to ran to save more times as she turned into a few corners, she finally arrived at the most bigger door in the place. Stood 2 man armed with guns beside the door and Blaze groaned. She spun her index finger and a small tornado with flames appeared, heading towards the men. The guard gasped as they ran in circle and yelled in pain when the tornado brushed upon their exposed skins. Blaze took this change; she dashed passed them and tried to get into the room but there was a coordinates she should put in. Smirking, she slightly tapped;

M.E.C.H are awesome.

Laughing, she ran into the room and closed back the door. The room was dark but Blaze could feel a presence of someone approaching her.

" Who are you?" Asked a small voice.

Blaze smiled, opening her palm as fires lit up from her hand, she looked at a girl younger than her with black short hair wearing green hoodie and blue jeans as the girl's green sea eyes widened.

" Blaze?"

" Pearl, " Blaze patted Pearl's shoulder, "It's time. Let's go." She said, grabbing the girl arm and dragged her away further into the room. Pearl slightly tilted her head, " Go where? There's nothing in this room except white walls-"

"That has secrets exit." Blaze said, stepping on a rose pattern on the white ground that looked dark because of the condition of the room. A secret door opened and Pearl stared at it in awe as Blaze laughed, pulling Pearl again.

Both of them had reach out the building and met the cold air of the night. Pearl shivered as she wrapped herself with her bandages hands. Blaze smiled apologetic and never let go of Pearl as she dashed away from the factory with Pearl beside her. Blaze's fingers twirled around Pearl's so the heat of her fire power would warmed Pearl. As they ran, Pearl tripped and she fell flat on her face.

Blaze gasped, " Are you okay?" she bent down and noticed Pearl's knee was bleeding.

" I am fine." Pearl smiled a little.

" Come on," Blaze helped Pearl to get up, " We gotta hurry or Silas and his team will-"

" Did someone mentioned my name?"

There were bright lights hitting Pearl's eyes and she winced before closing her eyes and his behind Blaze. The orange haired girl gasped, looking around her and Pearl as men in black suits surrounded them followed with helicopters as well. A man with scars all over his face stood in front of them, slightly amused by the look of fear that showed by the two teenagers.

Silas growled, " Think you could made my pet escape just like you escaped from my grasp, Light Blaze? Or should I say, experiment 3675 that failed."

Blaze scoffed, " I am no longer a mouse lab and so does Pearl." She said, positioning herself to kept her balance and attacks ready.

Silas laughed," You want to fight? " His voice sends chills all over Pearl as the girl gripped her hold on Blaze tightly.

" I don't want to fight, " Pearl whispered," I don't want to use my abilities again." She buried her face on Blaze's back.

Blaze ruffled Pearl's hair," Don't worry, you don't need to do anything." She whispered and looked back at Silas with her hands lit up with fires.

​​​​​​" One more thing," Blaze glanced at Pearl," Whatever will happens later, it will not be your fault, Pearl." She said, folding up her sleeves and there were deep old scars on Blaze's skin.

Light Blaze glared at the M.E.C.H leader as she cracked up a smile.

The last thing White Pearl knew was she saw Blaze fought the people and a scream echoes through Pearl's head as she fell into a deep unconscious.

Pearl opened her eyes and saw the blue sky; signing it was already daylight. She got up, and her green sea eyes widened, there, around her, lied dead bodies as their blood mixes with the river nearby the location. Panicking, Pearl got up but what surprised her most was the bloods that does not belonged to her; covered her knuckles and her bandage that was wrapped from her forearm until wrist has an opened hole and there were more bloods gathered on that spot. Pearl looked around to find Blaze but no such luck. She spotted something glowed in the river and she walked towards it. Touching the cold water gave a little pleasent on Pearl but she quickly took out her hand from the water when she grabbed the thing. It was a necklace with golden color that circles the white pearl. Pearl giggled a bit at the thought of her name resembled to the necklace she was holding. She spun the necklace and there were words written behind the pearl:

White Pearl and Light Blaze

Pearl stood in frozen. And then it hit her;

" One more thing," Blaze glanced at Pearl," Whatever will happens later, it will not be your fault, Pearl." She said, folding up her sleeves and there were deep old scars on Blaze's skin.

So that what Blaze meant. The necklace Pearl was holding was the necklace that she gave to Blaze a long time ago before they were kidnapped by M.E.C.H. Blaze used to told her that;

" If I am gone, this necklace will go to you back." Blaze said and Pearl looked confused.

" Why?"

Blaze smiled, pointing her index finger on the necklace and a long golden flame of fire came out from the tip of her finger, sliding around the pearl before the flame circled on Pearl's neck, thought Blaze had to calm Pearl down so she would be convinced that the fire won't burns her.

" Because you gave it to me and then, I give it back to you."

Tears escaped Pearl's eyes as she watched the necklace glowed once again. Pearl put on the necklace before sat on the ground. Weeping uncontrollably. It was all her fault. Pearl didn't know what happened but she sure that she went out of control again. And Blaze doesn't want Pearl to think that. But she did.

" What have I done?" Pearl sobbed.

After a few moments passed, she could hear someone's voice but she didn't care. She just want to sit there and blamed everything that happened on herself. Soon, Pearl could feel some people around here, murmuring and circling her. A light tapped was set over Pearl's shoulder ; sending the girl to startled.

"Miss, are you all right?" A robot that taller than Pearl with blue colored, that seemed to be a policeman, leaned over Pearl. " Do you know what-"

" S-Stay back!" Pearl yelped, swinging her hands.

Everyone around her gasped; there were long sharp blades came out from Pearl's forearm until wrist. The blade almost touched the bot who named, Chase, as he backed away.

Pearl's eyes widened," Please, get away from me.." She whispered, hugging her knees, " I am dangerous..." She cried once again.

Chase had a worry expression written all over his faceplate. He tried to touch Pearl but another bot stopped him; Heatwave.

" I think we should let June take care of her. " Heatwave said, " The girl's terrified. " Chase nodded, backing away and let a woman with black shining hair tied in ponytail walked over to Pearl.

June kneel down, she gently wrapped Pearl in a blanket, " Don't worry, we won't hurt you. " June whispered, " I am June."

Pearl waited for another words but June seems determined to know Pearl's name because there was only silence for a few seconds.

" Pearl."

June smiled satisfying, " Okay, Pearl, I want to check if you're hurt or not, okay? Do you have any idea what happened now?"

Pearl shivered, " I-It was all my fault... T-they took Blaze... I..." She continued to sobbed as she lost control to speak.

June sighed, turning back her attention to Chase and Heatwave," The M.E.C.H must kidnapped this girl too - and now she thinks everything is her fault. "

Heatwave growled," Silas had gone too far this time. Combining a human with Cybertronian parts of body are seriously dangerous and risky, " He shook his helm, " I wonder how many lives has Silas sacrifice just to set his plans work. "

June looked back at Pearl, " Everything will be fine. We're gonna send you to the Hospital and we'll find you a nice place to stay. " She said, putting both her hands over Pearl's forearm and the blades shut back in their places. Pearl didn't know how she did that - but having June beside her made Pearl feels safe and warm.

But Pearl knew; everything will not be fine.
