Chapter 2 : The other half-Cybertronians 

​​​​​"Alert! Alert! Experiment subject 3675 has escaped!" The alarms went off, " I repeat; experiment 3675 has ESCAPED!!!! ​​​​​​"

Pearl yawned as she rubbed her left eye. She gets up and slowly walked towards the glass tube that trapped her. Still sleepy, she looked around and saw the other people in the other glass tubes also looked at the other side of their 'cage'. 

Pearl's eyes widened at the sight of a person running towards her tube, " Blaze?! W-what?" She paused when Blaze puts her index finger over her lips to silence Pearl. 

" I gotta go," Blaze looked around, " But I'll come back to get you." 

" Really?" 

Blaze nodded, " I won't let them use you as a mouse lab anymore. Just wait. " She smiled and winked at Pearl, " Love you." And ran away with guards chasing after her.

"Please stop pushing me, Alex!" 

" But I want to see the girl more closely!" 

" But won't you'd be worry if Arcee sees you leaning over this girl?" 

" No,she won't." 

" Alex..." a small voice sighed.

Pearl opened her eyes slowly, only to see 2 boys looking at her with curious looks. Pearl screamed and smacked their faces; which made both of the boys fell on the floor. Pearl gasped. 

" Oh my gosh, are you all right?" She shuttered," I am so sorry! " Pearl closed her face with her hands before peeked at the strangers between her fingers. 

One of them stood up first; he had white and grey ish hair. His eyes were purple and he was wearing grey vest that has purple stripes and black shirt. But what surprised Pearl more, was his ' feet'. Except, the feet were replaced with 2 wheels on each legs. 

 
" Woah!" He smiled, touching his red cheek that Pearl smacked, " She's shy but strong! Just like you, Robin!" He looked over ' Robin' as the other boy stood up. 

' Robin' has brown hair like cappuccino color and his eyes were yellow. His hair was messy and long until it closed his left eyes. Which made Pearl thought that Robin needs a haircut as soon as possible. He was wearing grey jacket that has yellow stripes and green shirt. Robin blushed at the other boy. 

" No, I am not! " He said and coughed before looking at Pearl, " Um, anyway. Sorry for scaring you. I am Robin." he held out his hand but quickly pulled it back when he noticed the confusion look over Pearl's face that mixed with fear as well. 

Pearl was unaware of Robin's gender because he looked like boy but with big eyes and his voice was small and sounds like girls. But she threw away the thought. The boy with white hair walked closer to Pearl with a big grin. 

" And I am Alex." The boy said, " From what we were told, you are Pearl, correct?" 

Pearl nodded, still keeping her guard up. She looked around and noticed she was wearing another clothes; a bright blue long clothes with white pants. 

" Where am I?" Pearl asked. 

" In the Hospital, where else? " Alex said, grabbing Pearl's hand and folded the sleeves to shows Pearl that the girl's hands was neatly wrapped in new bandages, " See? June already -" 

Hearing Pearl's shrieking already enough for Robin to pushed Alex away from Pearl. The girl backed away from Alex and Robin, looking at her hands as memories of blades shot out from her forearm until her wrist, still fresh in her minds. 

" Alex! " Robin scowled. 

" What?" Alex threw Robin an innocent look, " We already know she's a half-Cybertronians like us, so what's the harm?" 

" H-half-Cybertronian?" Pearl looked up, " I am a what...?" 

" Half-Cybertronians." Robin sighed, " Half human, half robots. Like me and Alex." He said, showing his hand that suddenly turned into a blade. 

Pearl fell from her bed. 

Alex scoffed," You scared her more than I do!" 

" I am sorry, Pearl. Are you all right? " Robin rushed towards Pearl and helped her to get up. 

" I-I am confused... Please do tell me more." Pearl said, still shaking but tried to put her trust on those two when she knew none of them had any attention to hurt her.

" Cybertronian or easy to call as Cybertron was actually a living Planet that had robots in humans sizes lived there. Long ago, Cybertron was peaceful, until the evil Decepticons waged war against the Autobots. Both sides fought for control of the planet, each ruling one half. Eventually, a mysterious, unclarified "cataclysm" struck the planet, following which the small race of robots known as the Mini-Cons emerged." Robin explained," So, when they came to earth, which means, they brought their war to our kind as well. So there were wars between humans and Cybertronian. After 30 years of destruction, both clan decided to ended the war and made peace. " 

" Yup, in fact, there were schools for both humans and Cybertronian as well; like Olivin  High School, Detroit school and many more! " Alex beamed. 

Robin nodded and turned back his attention towards Pearl," So, the crime of killing either Autobot or Decepticons also the same crime of killing a human. Although some Cybertronian steals and do crimes, it still looks a little but normal because humans do those thing as well." Suddenly, Robin looked down and when he spoke, his voice broke," But there was this people called the M.E.C.H started to do the most biggest crime ever in history. They killed thousands of humans and Cybertronian. They keep doing illegal experiments and tests." Robin looked at Pearl. 

" And we are the subjects that escaped from their grasp. Including you, White Pearl. "

Alex continued and to Pearl's surprised, he looked serious for the first time she met him," I was a young boy. A normal one. But the M.E.C.H took everything from me 10 years ago. They kidnapped me and my younger siblings, tortured them until they died. They replaced my feet with these," Alex looked at the wheels, " and I'm one of the successful subject.One night, I escaped and returned back home but my family looked at me with disgusting expressions and threw me away. "

Alex closed his eyes as Robin approached him and patted his back. Pearl had sympathy in her eyes. Robin looked back towards Pearl. 

" I never knew I am a half Cybertronian until 2 years ago. My father worked as a scientist with the M.E.C.H, but he didn't know that I was kidnapped when I am 2 years old and he only discovered that when he saw me in a glass tube with my hands," Robin hands switched into blades," in this condition. He took me away and brought me back home. My mom was happy to have me back but when dad didn't return for the next few days, mom knew the M.E.C.H had kill him and she hid this thing from me." Robin sighed before continued, " Alex and I were brought to this city, where we were under the government protection. We met many friends and school at the Olivia high school until now. "

" After that, Blaze joined us as well. " Alex said and Pearl's eyes widened. 

" Blaze? You know Blaze? She came here? " Pearl asked, stepping forward. 

Alex and Robin nodded," Yeah, but yesterday, she said she wanted to save a friend of her but Optimus was concerned about her safety. Being stubborn like she always did, she went back there and saved you, Pearl. " 

A pain of guilty hit Pearl. 

" But she never came back... " Pearl mumbled loud enough to let Alex and Robin heard her. 

Alex and Robin stared at Pearl," You were there... You must have known where Blaze is right now. "

" BUT I DON'T! " Pearl screamed and the boys jumped. " I DON'T KNOW WHERE BLAZE IS AND WHAT HAPPENED TO HER!!! ALL I KNEW;  IT WAS ALL MY FAULT!!" Pearl sat and hugged her knees. " Oh, Blaze.... I am so sorry... " Pearl sobbed and weeping uncontrollably. 

Alex and Robin stood in silence as they stared at Pearl. Robin kneel down and gently grabbed Pearl's arm," Come. " He said and Pearl looked up. 

" To where?" 

" We want you to meet our friends. " Alex said and he cracked a small smile, " They'll keep you safe and happy." 

Robin nodded, " We all will."
