Epilogue.

I stretched my arms over my head and smiled smelling the scent of cooking bacon wafting through my house. Looking over and seeing that George wasn't in the bed beside me I knew he must have gotten up early with the kids to let me sleep, our youngest one had a hard time sleeping last night. I walked across our large bedroom and into my walk in closet before grabbing a sweater to slip over my pajamas. I tossed my shoulder length hair up into a loose bun before walking out of my bedroom and down the staircase.

"Mommy!" I heard the second my feet hit the first floor landing, and I smiled before picking up my youngest daughter Dora in my arms. She was three years old with long curly red hair, I pecked her cheek and placed her on my hip before walking through the walkway to the kitchen. I couldn't help but smile as I walked through the door. George and Teddy were throwing flour in each other's hair, Teddy's hair changing from blue to blonde every so often. "Stop dad!" Teddy said with a chuckle as he ducked a handful of flour George chucked at him.

"Get him Teddy!"

"Smack him with bacon!"

I heard my fourteen year old twins shout at the two of them. Remus and Fred I swear were going to be the death of me. The pair of them stick true to the amazing men they were named after, and were complete handfuls. They each had shaggy brown hair like mine, with light brown eyes like George, with the same handful of freckles across their nose. They were identical in every way possible as they played pranks on anyone they could find. And both of them were so protective of their baby sister Dora, even with a eleven year age difference.

"I say smack him with the bacon son" i called over as I shifted Dora in my arms. Teddy looked over to me and I winked at him, he then grabbed a piece of freshly cooked bacon and smacked George over the face with it before running away. George looked appalled as he looked at our son who was hiding behind the twins. Teddy was seventeen now and still didn't act any older than five, but I wouldn't have it any other way. My Weasley men were all immature and i loved every second of it. If someone would have told me twenty years ago that I would be married with four kids i would have never believed them.

My kids drove me crazy more often than not, and my once lively hair was now duller with age, but I loved my life so much it hurt. Teddy was finishing his seventh and final year at Hogwarts, while the twins were finishing their fourth year. All three of them were in Gryffindor just like George and I. And much to my dismay all three of them played quiditch. Teddy was playing seeker, while Remus and Fred played beaters. They were all on Easter break at home right now, Dora sure missed her brothers. But I was glad Aimee and Draco lived so close to us, and Dora could play with Madison their three year old daughter while the boys were in school.

"You funny daddy" Dora said looking over at George who had a piece of bacon stuck to his face. George looked at his daughter and couldn't help but smile over at her. Our one and only child to inherit his crazy red hair. "You're funny too sweetheart" George said with a smile as he picked the piece of bacon off of his head and tossing it in the garbage can. "Teddy finish this please" George said with a semi-authoritative tone before walking over to Dora and I.

George bent down and kissed me slowly on the lips before kissing Dora on the forehead. "How are my two beauties this morning?" George asked before taking Dora out of my arms and placing her on his hip. "Fine" I heard Fred and Remus say together with a laugh. I giggled at the two of them, as George smacked them on the back of the head. "You are my beauties" I said walking over to them and kissing them both on the head. Teddy reached over and placed two plates in front of the twins who were seated on the bar stools at our high counter.

George was placing Dora in her booster chair at the kitchen table, while I walked around the island to help Teddy in the kitchen. "Teddy, I think you should come with me this year" I said softly to Teddy, placing a hand on his arm. Teddy looked down at me with saddened eyes before handing George Dora's plate of cut up pancakes. "She's right son, I think it would be good for you to go" George said rubbing Teddy's back before yelling at the twins to go sit at the kitchen table with Dora.

Every year since we told Teddy the truth about his parents, we have been trying to get him to come to the memorial at the school with us. We told Teddy when he was ten, exactly ten years after the battle happened. But Teddy never wanted to go, and even after he went to Hogwarts, he still avoided the lake where the monument still stood. "I don't need to go" Teddy mumbled before grabbing his own plate and kissing me cheek. "You're the only mother I need to know" Teddy whispered before sitting at the table with his brothers. I felt tears well up in my eyes thinking of my sister, and how she should be here with her son.

Breakfast went by as usual, with all the boys including George tossing food at each other. And Dora giggling at the immature men in her life. I cleaned up afterwards while the rest of them went to go get cleaned up since we were going to the burrow for lunch later on in the day. "Stop it fweddie!" I heard Dora shouting as she ran down the stairs, two identical sounds of feet sounding behind her. I peeked out of the kitchen to see the twins chasing Dora with a frog. "Come on Dora, kiss the frog!" Remus shouted as Dora continued to squeal and run from her brothers.

I laughed and turned back to washing the dishes in the sink, continuously looking out of the window above the sink. George and Teddy were in our backyard chasing a snitch on their broomsticks. It was crazy to think we have been married for seventeen years, and we still feel like newlyweds. The day of our wedding still was embedded in my mind.

"Ronnie sit still, you're going to mess your hair up!" Ginny said as she sat behind me trying to do my hair. I just couldn't keep me nerves in check and kept wiggling around every so often. "I cant help it Gin, I'm so nervous!" I told her as I looked down at my hands. Even though George and I had been engaged for a while, I still cant believe the day was finally here. "Don't be nervous, you look gorgeous!" Aimee exclaimed as she handed Ginny and Hermione their bouquets of flowers. Ginny, Hermione and Aimee were my bridesmaids. While Ron, Bill and Charlie were George's groomsmen. But everything still felt wrong without Fred around.

Even though my wedding say should be the happiest day of my life, but I was still saddened at the fact that my parents nor sister were here with me today. Granted Draco was walking me down the aisle today, I still wished it was my father instead. I heard a knock on the door, and Ginny went to go answer it. I heard the girls talk to someone before all three of them left the room, letting my cousin inside. "Hey D" i said softly as I stood from my bench to look at Draco. He looked rather handsome in his tuxedo, with a royal purple tie around his neck.

"Hi V" Draco said with a smile as he admired my dress. It was pretty simple, with a mermaid skirt and spaghetti strap sleeves. It was the only dress I tried on, and loved it upon first sight. "You look beautiful" He said softly before handing me my veil that was lying on the bed. "Thanks" I said softly and let Draco put my veil into the back of me hair. He then let my veil fall down my back gently resting below my shoulders. "Im so glad you're allowing me to do this Ronnie" Draco whispered looking away from my eyes. I reached over and held his cold hands in my own, "I forgive you Draco, I forgave you months ago" I whispered.

Draco nodded before kissing my cheek and leading me out of the room. He led me down the winding staircase in the burrow, before we ended up at the sitting room behind the backdoor. The door that led outside to my wedding. "You can still run you know" Draco said with a slight smirk on his face. I frowned before punching him in the arm and wrapping my arm back around his. "I love George, Im not going anywhere" I said softly before I heard the music start to play outside.

I gripped Draco's arm tightly before we followed behind Aimee down the white peddled covered aisle. Everyone stood and smiled over at me, they were all here to support George and I in this marriage and that fact made me smile harder. When we got closer I could finally see George, looking so handsome in his black tuxedo and purple bow tie. He smiled brightly when he saw me, and ran his hand through his long red hair. Draco kissed my cheek when we got closer and went to sit with Aimee's parents in the second row.

"You look beautiful" George whispered to me as Kingsley began the ceremony. I smiled at him and took both his hands in mine, both our hands sweaty and shaking with nerves. But we had no reason to be nervous, as our wedding was perfect and a day I would never forget.....

"Mom!" I heard beside me and jerked out of my thoughts to look down and see Remus and Fred looking at me with a questioning look."You've washed that plate like eight times already" Fred said laughing motioning to the plate in my hand. I looked down to see my water had gone cold and i was lazily rubbing a cloth over the same plate over and over again. The twins constantly asked me why I never used magic around the house, my response was always the same. I want my kids to not rely on magic in life. I grew up with a muggle father and I loved every moment of it, which is why in our home now we had plenty of muggle items. My boys loved the TV and video games that was for sure.

"Are you two ready to go to grandma's?" I asked as I tossed my dish rag back into the sink and dried my hands on a paper towel. The twins nodded.

"Ok can you go grab your father and brother for me?" I asked motioning to George and Teddy who were still trying to catch a snitch. "Maybe you can help them catch that damn thing" I said with a chuckle as I watched Teddy miss the snitch for the tenth time today. Remus and Fred laughed before running around to the back door and to the backyard. I sighed and went to find Dora, who was probably getting into trouble somewhere.

"Dora!" I yelled through our rather large house, and heard little feet running around on the second floor. I walked slowly up the stairs until I heard Dora talking in the twins bedroom. "Dora you know you aren't aloud in here" I said as I looked over to my three year old who was sitting on Fred's bed. She was sitting  against the window looking at a picture frame, I noticed it was one that was normally hanging right outside her bedroom. "Sweetie what are you doing?" I asked softly as I sat beside her.

I looked down at the picture, a picture of Fred, George and I when we were at Hogwarts. "Was uncle Fweddie as nice as daddy?" Dora asked looking from the picture of the three of us over to me. I felt tears well up in my eyes as I thought of Fred. "He sure was honey" I whispered before kissing her on the top of her head. "Fred would have loved you" I said softly and looked down into her light brown eyes. "Everyone loves me" Dora said before handing me the picture and running out of the room. I sighed before grabbing the picture and walking out of the twins room, making sure to close the door behind me.

"Sweetheart, you ready?" i heard George call up the staircase, Dora ran past me and down the stairs before I quickly followed. "Yea, were all ready" I said smiling at my husband. He bent down and kissed me before grabbing Dora and heading into the fireplace. They used the floo network to get to the burrow before the twins followed behind, leaving Teddy and I last. "I lied to you" Teddy suddenly said before we stepped into the fireplace. I looked over at him with a frown before placing down the pot of floo powder.

"About what?" I asked.

Teddy bit his lip and looked down to his shoes before shuffling his feet, something he did when he was nervous. "I already went to the memorial" He mumbled, and i sighed thinking he was going to tell me something bad, you never know with a seventeen year old. "When did you go?" I asked softly, reaching out and grabbing his hand in mine. "Beginning of the year" he said looking up at me. "Are you mad?" He asked.

I smiled up at the boy I had raised as my own, the man in front of me who was my blood. Teddy was not my biological son, but I loved him as equally as my own children. I always felt Teddy felt strange about the fact George and I weren't his parents, but he understood in time that they died for a good cause. "I could never be mad about that Teddy. " I told him, reaching over and wrapping my small arms around his tall frame. Teddy was so much taller than the rest of us, standing even taller than George much to his dismay.

"I just needed to go alone, seeing all I lost there. Seeing all you and dad lost there" He said causing tears to run down my cheeks. "Your mother and father were amazing people Teddy" I said to him.

"I know mom, you tell me all the time" Teddy said with a chuckle as he reached over and wiped some of my tears away. "I love you son" I whispered taking Teddy back into my arms. "I love you too mom" Teddy said softly into my ear. We pulled apart and stepped into the fireplace, and flooed to the burrow together.

Teddy walked out first and greeted his many cousins before wandering off with Charlie to talk about dragons probably, Teddy had taken an interest in them these past couple years and Charlie became his idol of sorts. "Everything ok?" George asked as he wrapped an arm around my waist. I nodded and reached up and pecked his cheek, but he moved and i caught his lips instead. "Perfect" i whispered to him. George smiled and led me to the couch where we sat together watching all of the kids play. Dora was running around with Rose, Hermione and Ron's daughter. And the twins were helping Molly set the kitchen table.

Everything in my life would never be completely perfect because of everything that was taken from me, but it was pretty damn close. I married the love of my life and had four beautiful children. I loved everything about my life, the only thing that would have made it better would be having everyone that we lost here with us now.....
