Julia Third POV

       It has been over a month since Julia and Andrew were dating. Soon it will be their semester exams and it was in a week from now. Andrew and Julia has gone on several dates and hanged out more often.

As they did. Jayden tried every possibility to avoid them. Anytime Jayden is having a conversation with Julia that's when Andrew comes around and Jayden hates it when he does that.

  "Our semester exams are around the corner, how are preparing?"  Lilian asked Loveth as we were heading out of the school building.

"Its been going great." Loveth replied with a smile.
"What about you Julia?"

"its also going well Loveth."I replied her.

"Once we are done with this semester heading for our 400 level, I'll visit you during the holidays." Lilian told me and I nodded my head in agreement.

"I'll also do same."
"But should I wear a dress or a blouse and a skirt for my date with David?" Loveth asked.

"A blouse and a skirt." Lilian suggested and I just nodded my head.

Lately, David asked Loveth to be his girlfriend and she agreed same with Lilian and Maxwell. They are both nice couples.

Anytime I come across Rose she acts like she didn't see me but she has also been hanging out with Nicole lately.
Lilian and Loveth told me their goodbyes as I did same, then Nicole approached me.

''Hey there." He waved at me as I did same.

"Hello."

"Pls have you seen Rose around?" He asked feeling concerned about her whereabout.

"No, I've not."

"Okay," he said sadly.

"Maybe she went home early."

"No problem." He replied sadly as he waved me goodbye.

Why can't Rose just give him a chance, seriously, I can see that Nicole likes her very much.

I turned around to head home when Andrew stopped his car in front of me.

"Hop in, let me take you home."

Recently, I don't use public transport very much because Andrew always drove me home. This few months of dating him wasn't quite bad.

"So how was classes?"

"It was good." I replied.
"Are you preparing for your semester exams?"

"Yep and you?"

"Yes I am."

Andrew and I made some small talks and before you know it I arrived home. I got down from his car and waved at him and then he zoomed off.

When I got in I saw Dante giving me the questioning look. I studied his appearance to see he was still wearing his business suit. I guess he just arrived from work. He has been gone for over 2 months for a business trip and he is back.

"Hey bro. Welcome back."

"Who was that young man?" My brother asked ignoring my greeting.

"He's my boyfriend."

"So now you've got a boyfriend?" He asked in a sarcastic tone.

Wait I don't get. Is it bad to have a boyfriend?

"Yes... " I answered the obvious.

"Okay, just know I don't like him." My brother told me.

Just like that, he has concluded.

"Dante you don't even know him and you've concluded." I also told him.

"I just don't like him. That's it. Can't I say my mind?" My brother asked.

"I don't know, because your mind is just blunt."

"Wow! You just Insulted me," my brother said.

And I saw myself laughing, "Sorry I didn't mean it like that." I told him and he nodded with a smile.

"Just be careful, I don't want you to get hurt the way you did in high school," he said with full concern.

"I won't brother." I told him with assurance and he nodded his head and entered his room.

Talking about what happened when I was in high school. There was this guy named Jerry Holland. He was the guy I claimed to like with all my heart and mind. So during our graduation out of high school we slept with each other and that same night he broke up with me.

So yeah, your Julia isn't a virgin. I was so naive then thinking he loved me and we will have an everlasting relationship.
Seriously, I broke down into a mess. My parents were so worried I might get seriously ill because of how depressed I was.

But I moved on. I'm just worried that Andrew won't be same.

Our semester was over after our exams. During does time. Jayden became scarce. I hardly saw him. I checked the school plat form to see that I passed. I was so damn happy. I showed my brother and he was very pleased.

And yes we are in the month of December and after some few more days we'll enter a new year.

My parents called and told me that were going to have a family reunion. And I was like what reunion?
And mum told me we were going to have a reunion with our childhood friends parents.

This was the opportunity to get back with Rose.
But they didn't emphasize when?

Before you knew it, it was Christmas already. I called all my friends and family member to wish them a happy Merry Christmas.

"Hello," I said to the other line.

"Oh my helloo..." Loveth replied from the other line.

"Merry Christmas." I wished her.

"Same to you my LOML." She replied. Come on does she have to call me that.
"How is Christmas over there?" She asked.

"Pretty cool, I'm going to celebrate it with my parents." I replied.

"That beautiful, alright, catch you later." She told me and I hummed in answer as the line went dead.

I scrolled through my phone for Lillian's number and tapped on it. And she picked on the first ring. This girl.

"You always pick on your first ring." I told her with a smile.

"Come on babe, I told you. Where ever I go my phone follows," she said as I could feel her smirking from the other line.

"Merry Christmas." I wished her.

"Oh my love. You remembered me," she said dramatically and I saw myself laughing.

"Of course I did."

"Merry Christmas and new year." She wished me.
"When we resume college, you owe me a cupcake."

"Lilian seriously."

"Yes and I'm not kidding about it," she said faking a serious tone.
And I laughed out loud, Lilian can be something else.

"Alright, I will."

"What of your brother?"

Lately, she's fund of my brother. I won't blame her. In her family, her mother gave birth to six girls no boy. So I see why she's fund of my brother, she wished she had one but nothing will stop her from loving her sisters equally.

"He's been good." I replied.

"Alright, greet him for me."

"Yes I will." And the line went dead.

Then I scrolled for Jayden's number but immediately he called me. Should I pick his call? If I did what will I tell him?
Come Juli you're over thinking.

"Heyyy," I said to the other line.

"Hi Juli, how are you doing?"

"I'm really good." I replied.

"I thought as much." He mumbled through line.
What does he mean by that?

"Merry Christmas Juli."

"Thanks so much. Merry Christmas to you too Jay." I wished him back.

"Have a fun day." He told me.

"Also have fun too." I replied as the line went dead.

I called Rose so many times but she won't pick up her phone. So I gave up calling feeling angry and gloomy at the same time. Then a message entered my phone and it was from Rose.

"Merry Christmas Juli." The message said.

So sweet of her to wish me so and I replied her with same text.

Boom, it was new year already with the smell of new fresh flowers and air. I got into taxi as it took me to school.

Today is my first day in school after Christmas, yep in a fresh level.. When I got down from the taxi. Lilian and Loveth immediately gave me bear hug.

"I'm so glad to see you." Loveth beamed.

''Oh my gosh, me too." Lilian squeaked, this girls are something else.

"How was your holiday?" Loveth directed the question to me.

"Pretty good, my brother brought his girlfriend to hang out with us and she was good." I told them.

"That's beautiful." Lilian complimented.

Lets head to class." I reminded them as we left for our different lectures.

The week was hectic. And it was weekend already and on a Saturday I've got nothing reasonable to do. Andrew is busy with something, Lilian and Loveth were at their part time job. So I'm completely useless and bored.

I'm going to die of boredom.
Then my phone rang, I gripped it from the side of my bed to see Jayden name on the call ID.

"Juli are you busy?"He asked from the other part of the line.

"Nop."

"Can we hang out together?" He requested.

Jay wants to hang out with me. Without too much talking my reply was yes.

"When can we see?" He enquired.

"Now." I told him and I could feel that he was shocked.

"Good, I'll come pick you up around 3:00pm."

"Okay." And the line went dead.

I wore a black trouser and a blue blouse. As I packed my hair downwards and apply a bit of lip gloss. I stared at the mirror to see if I was okay and I was. Then I heard the door bell.

He's here? So fast.
Don't be crazy Julia, he's living eight buildings away from you. I quickly rushed towards the door and opened it to see Jayden wearing a pair of short and a green shirt. He's quite okay in appearance.

"Good evening... I meant afternoon... D...don't mind me." I stuttered a little with a nervous smile.
Why am I stuttering.

Jayden just smiled at me. "You know that you're cute, right?"

"I'm cute? Of course I'm cute." I told him with a smile.

"Alright lets go," he said as I followed him from bind.

I got into his car as he drove us to the direction of our school.
Are we hanging out in school? I saw the sight of the school coming to sight but Jayden passed it in within a sec and after a minute He stopped the car.

"We're getting down from here." He told me.

I've come to realize that there was a a forest close to the school building. Wait we are entering a forest. I got down from his car as I followed him into the forest.

"Jay where are we going?" I asked feeling anxiety creep in.

"Some where."

"Don't that somewhere has a name?"

"It doesn't." He told me.

That's rare.

After some few walks deeper into the forest. A cliff came to my sight. It was breathtaking. On the cliff there were green grasses and flowers on it. It was a beautiful nature scenery.

"Wow!" I exclaimed.

"I know right?"
"Strip." He told me.

And then I gave him an annoying look.

"What?"

"Why do you have to use such word?" I asked.

"What do you want me to say?"

"I don't know because I find that word offensive." I told him.

"Wow!" He said in shock.
"Can you off your cloths," he said nicely also removing his cloths.

"Why?"

"Come on Juli you ask too many questions at times." He told me.

"Seriously, I've got to know."

"We are going for a swim." He told me in an obvious tone.

There is nothing obvious about it.

"Jayden did you hit your head or something?" I asked him as I walked towards him and placed the back of my hand on his head.

"Nop."

"So where are we going to swim because obviously my man there's no swimming pool in a forest."

And then he chuckled. "Juli you're something else," he said as his chuckling turned into laughter.

I don't know but I kinda like the fact I made him laugh.

He held my wrist gently and brought me closer to the cliff.

"Look below." He told me and I did.

My mouth went agape. There was a big river under the cliff and how was this river formed? There was a breathtaking water fall that falls on the river which flows to the west.
It was so beautiful.

"So you see. We're are going for a swim down there." He told me once again.

"What? Not in my life. I can't swim."

"I'll hold you."

"No Jay."

"Please." He pleaded.

"No Jay."

"Please Juli please." He begged.

I sighed, maybe just for today and never again. Since, he' s going to hold me. I guess I won't die.

"Alright, turn around, let me remove my wear."

And he did. I removed my blouse and my trouser. What I wore inside was a bra crop top with its matching pant shorts.

"I'm done." I told him as he turned around.

When he did his eyes were ogling on me.

"It's offensive when you stare like that," I said shyly.

"I'm sorry, is just that you're sexy." He told me still staring at me intensively.

The way he pronounced the word sexy only made my core smile. If that was real.

"Okay how are we going to swim down there?" I asked pointing down to the river.

Jay quickly wrapped his hands around my waist protectively, dragging and compressing my body closer to his. My body quickly responded enjoying the feeling.

"We jump in," he said and before you know it he jumped off the cliff dragging me with him with out giving me a sec to process things. And then I started screaming for my life.

We fell into the water with a splash. I immediately held him with my whole life, wrapping my legs around his torso and breathing in fear.

"Jayden what the hell?" I screamed in terror.

"It was a fun way to swim."

"I could have died."

"Not when I held you firmly." He told me as his hands slipped under my crop top.

"Alright get me away from this hell."

"You know, you're very cute when you're terrified," he said as he removed some wet strand of hair from my face, smiling at me in the process.

"There's nothing cute about being terrified." I told him and he laughed once again.

"You know, I wish you were my girlfriend, I wish you were all mine," he said sadly staring into my hazel eyes.

I didn't know what to say, I also stared into his blue eyes getting lost in them.

"But first get down and I will get you away from the river."

"Noway. I'm not coming down from your body." I told him.

"But you're strangling me." He complained.

"Well, you put yourself in this mess young man," I said and he chuckled coming out of the water as I was still holding him.

Once we were out I came down from him.

"How are going to climb back up?" I asked looking up to the cliff which was way high up there.

"We'll follow that part," he said pointing at a slant road which lead all the way to the cliff.

I narrowed my eyes towards him. "So there was a road all this time."

"Yep."  He replied trying so hard to hold his laugh.

"Jayden you're impossible," I said in disbelief.

"I'm sorry, I just remembered."

"Yeah whatever." I told him now wearing my cloths.
Once we were fully dressed I stared at Jayden for a while in wonder.

"How did you know this place existed?"

"I just kept walking further and further then I found it. First I thought I was the only one who knew this place but I found out that Rose and Britney knew this place." He told me.

"Owh." Was my only reply.

It has been quite long I heard about Britney that barbie doll. I don't see her anymore in classes or even the school compound.

"Besides how is your girlfriend, Britney?"

"She's not my girlfriend." He declined in an annoyed tone.

"Wait how?"

"She just parades herself like I'm with her so I went with the flow," he truthfully.

"Yeah, went with the flow to harass me then." I told him as the thought of what happened 3 years again ran in my mind.

"Come on Juli, I thought we are over that?" He asked being concerned.

"Of course we are," I said as I turned to leave.

"Wait." He told me.

I stopped, turned around and gave him a questioning look.

"Come." He told me and I did.

"Come closer." And I saw myself coming closer to him.

What does he want from me now? Before I could process what might happen Jayden grabbed me by the waist and pecked me on the lips.

I was so stunt that I couldn't move. What just happened? In seconds he pecked me on the lips 2 more times. And then I moved backwards in shock.

"Jayden what did you just do?"

Him to was shocked. Wait eh why would he?

"I don't know, I just did." He replied.

"You just did?" I questioned in disbelief.
"You know too well I'm in a relationship."

"Of course I know you're in a fucking relationship," he said in an annoyed tone.

"So why did you do it?" Seriously I wanted to know.

"Because It's a kiss between two friends."

"What?" I asked again to be sure I heard right.

"It's a friendship kiss." He told me.

This is unbelievable.

"Wow! So that means I can also kiss Lilian and Loveth?" I enquired.

"Not like that, Juli."

"So that means it works only on guys like Maxwell and David."

"Juli?"

"What?" I replied back with a question.

"It's a friendship kiss between two close friends, like best friends." He told me.

"Alright. That means I can kiss you back?" I questioned.

"Yes." He replied immediately as his eyes spackled.

This guy is something else.

"No can do. Lets go home."

"Come on Juli." Jayden whined as we head out from the forest.
