It was a dull day that went as usual with a young girl getting ready for her mother, the Evil Queen's gala.

Though she was one that didn't like to over dress, she didn't have an option this time because of her mom's choice.

So she had to fit in to a tight gown with violet and plum velvet stripes at the bottom.

She hadn't even sat down to breath, after getting ready, that a knock sounded at the door.

She, becoming lazy, beckoned the knocker to come in all the while still sitting.

She had not suspected anyone in particular to come but she turned slightly enough to see it was none other than her best friend James, but he looked troubled.

She beckoned him to sit down beside her on the bed. "I'm sorry to barge in here but I have some important news..." he started.

"Continue." She interrupted impatiently.

"Well I'm moving." James finished with a sad look and sigh.

"Oh..." Little Raven commented sadly because he was her best, and only friends at the time.

She quickly wiped away a tear which was starting to fall. "Then we should make use of the time we have." She said with the most happy look she could manage.

He painfully smiled as Little Raven and him were really good friends.

Little Raven took him by the hand to a garden behind the mournfully dark castle and they talked about the times they played together and that they would keep in touch and more until it was time for dinner and then they hurried back as fast as they could but we're stopped in the way by seeing The Evil Queen talking to a strange but none the less Evil looking man who had one eye pinned to the children as they approached but still maintained a air of confidence as well as something Raven couldn't work out at the time.

The Evil Queen realized that her daughter was staring and went forward to introduce the man.

"Childern,  this is Mr.O'Neil he will be assisting with some of my work in the future." She said.
