They discussed the information they had from places with each other. They got some leads but it wasn't very impressive so they decided to go after them the next day and call it a day.

"Ok team looks like we are wrapping up for the day. Tomorrow morning we will discuss the plan of action. It was a long day. Go home. Sakshi I will drop you. Shree Liza ko ghar chhod dena." Sameer said.

"Sameer! Before coming to office tomorrow why don't we meet up at our place and have breakfast. We can all plan there." Ayona said. Sameer looked at Arjun.

"That's her home as well Rathore. If she wants to have her people over for a meal I will not possibly have any problem." Arjun said looking at Ayona.

"It's final then. Tomorrow morning 9o clock at Rawte's place." Sameer said. Sakshi wasn't very happy about it but she choose not to say anything.

"You better be a great cook Ayona." Liza joked. Ayona laughed at it and said.

"Mere hath ka ek bar khaoge na, restaurant word ko apne dictionary se nikal doge."

"Its true." Arjun said before getting up. "Chhotu why don't you stay with us today. Anyway Ayu will need help in the morning."

"Me? Of course sir." Chhotu looked at shree proving himself some what important than him.

         Ayona already paid a cleaning service to make the home habitable again before she even came. Arjun had no idea about it. On the ride home he was mostly silent while Chhotu and Ayona talked about menu for nextday. When reached, Chhotu excused himself to the guest room leaving Ayona and a very disturbed Arjun. He was reliving those memories with Roshni here. Ayona gave him some time alone to sink in the fact that he actually was there. Each and every corner that Roshni decorated herself had memories of her. Ayona wanted to fill these places with some other memories like of hers and the people who were in Arjun's present.

"Arry?" Ayona said to gain his attention.

"Ayu.. Go to sleep. You must be tired." He said.

"Yes. I am. But my tiredness is very short lived while I can see you are tired of being in the grief. I'm here Arry, I'm here now. Come back to me." She said holding out her hands. Arjun went into her arm without a second thought.

         Arjun was sleeping like a baby and Ayona was watching him sitting on a chair next to him. Suddenly she whipped out her phone and wrote a message.

"First day went well.
Arjun don't know yet.
The crime reporter will be a problem."
She then send it to some unknown number. Ayona get into the covers with Arjun who just held her in his sleep.

"Good night my Brother"

          Next day morning Ayona was making food in the kitchen. She ordered some grocery for early morning delivery. Chhotu came out of the guest room.

"Good morning chhotu. Sleep well last night?" Ayona asked.

"Good morning Ayona. Where is Arjun sir?" Chhotu asked.

"Still sleeping. I might have to wake him up in a minute." Ayona said.

"Ummm smells nice. What you are making?" He asked.

"Aloo ke parathe. We decided last night na. Chhotu I have everything but milk. Ek bar niche bhag ke jao na." Ayona said.

"Sure thing." He said and went away. After a minute Arjun came.

"Morning Ayu!"

"Hi Arry. You are up."

"Lag raha hai ek arse bad utha hun." He said. Ayona was about to say something when door bell rang. Arjun opened it. It was shree.

"Good morning Sir." He said.

"Good morning Shree. Come in. You are early." Arjun said.

"I know sir. I live close by and didn't had anything to do in the morning so I thought Ayona ko bhi thodi help mil jaegi." Shree said.

"That's so sweet Shree. Come on here." Ayona said. Shree went to her and started cutting fruits. Arjun went to his room.

"Chhotu kaha hai.. So raha hai kya?" Shree asked.

"No. I send him out for some milk." Ayona said.

         They chatted for a while after Arjun came back he and Shree stared setting the table. Ayona was making tea with the milk Chhotu brought. Everyone else joined. Sameer's eyes went straight to Ayona in kitchen. She was wearing a short and loose white lacy dress, wet hair in a loose braid. She was looking like every men's dream. She looked up with a smile and came to him. She wished him good morning with a hug. It was so short that before he could even react it was over. She hugged Liza.

"Specky was here early I see. He lives nearby." Liza said.

"I'm not like you ok. I was here to help Ayona." Shree said. Ayona and Liza laughed holding each other. Sameer was amazed that she just came yesterday and how quickly she had bond with everyone.

"Sorry Ayona. I'm a moron in kitchen." Liza said.

"Don't worry. Everything was sorted. I had enough help." Ayona said.

"Sameer! What happened? Sit na." She asked him breaking his concentration.

"You sit. I'll just heat it up." He said showing a packet and left for kitchen.

        Ayona looked at the kitchen. Sameer was on his phone while heating the food. Arjun was beside him heating the tea. She smiled at the scene and was about to turn away when she noticed something. Sameer grabbed a spoon from the rack without even looking like he was been in that place so many times. She was shocked. Sameer could not possibly be there as Arjun was here for the first time after Roshni. A thought crossed her mind.. What if they know each other before.. But looking at their attitude towards each other. What if he is.. No. She had to be sure.

"Arry I have not put sugar in the tea." She said and again Sameer grabbed the sugar jar and passed to him without looking.

"Oh my god..." Ayona said to himself. Sameer was Sam. That's why he knew everything so well. He knew about Roshni and even knew about the home situation. Ayona was in a zone of shock when both the men came and sat on the either side of her. She looked at Sameer. Who looked at her and rised a eyebrows. She shook her head. Then she looked at Arjun who took a ship of tea. How well they hide the fact. From everyone.

"Ayona it is the best paratha I have had in a long time." Chhotu said.

"It is the best paratha period Chhotu. I don't remember having anything better ever." Liza said.

"Thanks.." Ayona said absentminded. Then she thought to be a little more sure of her belief.

"Arry you haven't had the chutney. Sameer pass that na." Ayona said. Sameer passed the non spicy one. He knew Arjun doesn't eat spicy. She was now sure he was infact Sam.

"Ayu eat. We will be late." Arjun said.

          Ayona nodded and blanked her mind from the newest information and started talking and eating. They had this happy jocking atmosphere with each other. Sameer and Arjun actively didn't took part in it but they were also enjoying.

"So what's the plan today Chief?" Ayona asked Sameer.

"Shree will tell us. Shree?" Sameer said.

"Right.. Yah.. I found his travel details. He had been to Delhi Kolkata and Bangalore a lot lately." Shree said.

"These are three Major cities Shree. He could have planning on expanding business." Arjun said.

"That's all I got. Everything else is clean." Shree said.

"What about bank details.. If there is nothing always follow the money." Arjun said.

"Checked sir. All clean." Shree said.

"What about wife's?" Ayona asked looking at her food.

"Wife is dead for 3 year's now." Sameer said.

"Exactly. How convenient!" Ayona said.

"That was brilliant." Liza said.

"15 minutes you got Shree. That much it will take me to get ready." Ayona said before leaving the room.

         After a while when she was back Shree was on his laptop with Arjun and Sameer sitting on his both sides. Chhotu was at the balcony while Liza and Sakshi were looking at the picture frames of Roshni and Arjun. Liza moved to the painting leaving Sakshi alone. Ayona went to her.

"They are the definition of love for me." Ayona said.

"She is past." Sakshi said.

"She is very much present untill Arry is ready to move past." Ayona said.

"You are making sure of that. Good luck to that." Sakshi said.

"Typical. You aren't going to be good enough for him or me to let you be around him until you understand there is no me. I'm not here. In the scenario. I'm a totally different story. This is yours. You have your story but that doesn't mean it will go according to you until you understand your own story." Ayona said.

"What does that mean.." Sakshi asked.

"You are a smart girl Sakshi. Go figure." Ayona said. Sakshi looked at her with confusion.

"Aayu see this. There is a charity organization where the funds are being transferred." Arjun said. Ayona went to them.

"You are right Ayona. He didn't close the account. He has been using it." Shree said.

"If someone asked he could say it's been for her wife's memories. A perfect alibi." Ayona said.

"We can go there." Arjun said.

"Or we can stay low. It is our only lead. We may spook them." Sameer said.

"He is right. Sameer you and me can go to the first murder spot. Arry can take the lead." Ayona said.

"She is right." Arjun said. They all stated towards their respective destinations.

        Ayona although wanted to ask him right away when she got him alone. But she kept it inside because somewhere she knew Arjun wasn't ready for it now. She took out her make up box and started applying.

"Ayona what are you doing?" Sameer asked.

"I'm going under cover." She said then turned to him "how do I look?"

"Beautiful?" Sameer said with little insuring.

"Annneehh.. Then more liner. Or some metal on face." She said and stated putting piercings. "Now? Freaky enough?"

"I guess so.. Ayona what's happening?"  Sameer tried again.

"I'm going under cover Sameer." She said. "Stop here." She said. She then took out her jacket to show her little top and tattoos.

"Chill.. They are fake." She said to sameer who was staring at her without blinking.

"Ok now. Stay here. Don't come until I signal." She said.

"What is the signal?" He asked.

"I have a boyfriend." She said.

"I'm supposed to be the boyfriend?"

"That's supposed to be the signal. "

"Oh.. Right. Sorry?"

"But to be matter of fact. Yes. Yes you are."

      She went out and started talking to people. Then she get to the ground of people that were looking sketchy. Sameer could see her from his van. She seemed to be get along with them. One of them started touching her arm that frick him out. He had to greet his teeth to stop himself coming out. She turned to the car and started walking. When she get to the car Sameer practically pulled her in before zooming out.

"What was that all about?" He asked.

"I got a tip that this place is a hot zone for drug dealers. Just wanted to see what kind of Drugs they had." She said.

"I still don't understand." Sameer said.

"I got information about all these. But before disclosing it I need to see if it actually relevant to these cases. These are very sensitive. The last thing I want is to disclose it to wrong people and wrong time." Ayona said. Sameer could understand that.

"Don't do that again." Sameer said.

"Do what?" Ayona asked.

"I don't like that he.." He didn't finishef the sentence. But Ayona understood that. Everything was perfect. They discussed more about the drug on their way to the beuro.

Sorry for this super late update. But I have this other book going on which gives me very less time. But still I will try to update this one more often.
