" Ghost reading discourages writers from writing period. I know a lot of you think "Well, you should write because it's your passion, not for approval." and I'm here to tell you, that line of thinking is wrong.
Imagine pouring your heart out to someone for hours, giving them your all—only for them to just read the message or reply with a 'K'. You wouldn't like that would you? Now imagine how writers feel when they spend hours on an update to get 1,000 views and only 20 votes with 5 comments. It doesn't seem fair, does it?
Pouring your heart into your work for people to enjoy for free, only for them to not reciprocate that love with a simple vote is very discouraging. It makes you want to not want to write because you feel like you're wasting your time. "

With that being said , I will no longer budge when it comes to my stories. Goals are set in place for you to be able to be active w me. I love to hear your thoughts & opinions. I will never bash you for how YOU feel when it comes to my story bc everyone's entitled to their own opinion 💯.

In the past I have budged on goals & updated anyways, moving forward I will not bc I know how much time and effort I put into my chapters just to be discouraged at the results. I also work a full time job; 5 days/ 8hrs a day. I be dead tired but still try to push out a good chapter.

So in order for a new chapter to drop the comment goal must be met , until next time my loves 😘
