fourteen

Kim Taehyung wanted to punch three people.

First was Lee Yejin. Whilst he too had shared some kisses with the girl, he had never particularly liked her obnoxious, cunning behaviour, the girl who thought she was above everyone else. He wanted to punch her for kissing his ex best friend.

Second, he wanted to punch Park Jimin, who was now known as the boy's ex best friend considering he had practically cheated on his sister by kissing Lee Yejin.

Third, he wanted to punch himself for trusting the blond boy with his sister's feelings. What a fool he had been.

The worst part was that his sister didn't even seem to care that much anymore. She didn't want to even feel any sort of revenge.

"I'll punch him for you, would you like that?" He had asked on the way from school, dropping her off to the bookstore.

"No, don't punch him. You'll hurt yourself, and he'll be injured as well. No-one needs to be in pain," She had simply said before saying her goodbyes and entering the store.

Taehyung hated it, he despised how Taehee had released all her emotions the night of the party when she had finally told him the next day, but after that, she remained indifferent, passive, emotionless.

So he'd talked to Hanna about it.

"Oh she's angry alright," Tak Hanna had confirmed as the two held hands, walking through the park. They were dating now, considering that at the party they had finally kissed much due to the pressure of their best friends prior to the events. "She just doesn't want to show how much he affected her as a person,"

"What d'you mean?"

"Taehyung, she was like a lovesick puppy before they started dating. She was so in love with him, it made me want to vomit. It was like the only boy she could ever see as more than a friend was Park Jimin. And when they started their relationship properly, she was over the moon,"

"Wait, what do you mean 'properly'?"

"She didn't tell you?" When her boyfriend shook his head, his shaggy black hair bouncing alongside the movement, the girl sighed. "Well, they were sort of seeing each other before they actually stared dating. But it was more like a friends-with-benefits thing than anything else,"

Of course it was. His sister was smart, but he couldn't quite believe that she had gone as far as that.

"Jimin needs to realise what he's done, and apologise. I don't know whether she'll accept it or not, but one thing is certain, I only wished I had realised it sooner,"

"What?"

"Their relationship is terrifyingly dangerous, that both of them are getting hurt in the process,"
