Festival

Vanguard Academy's looked more crowded than usual that morning.
And in the backyard of their building, that's wide enough, there're spread a lot of busyness.
Not only the students who paced with their job, the teachers were also eagerly seen looking for the bustle (by giving orders here and there creating so much grumble here and there as well).

Yes, indeed it was the Carnival day, the day with lots of games and food, and that evening almost all of students were gathering there with their avatar's costumes (why not? It's a Vanguard Academy!), a Costume contest!!

In a corner, Ayaza seen admiring Aya who appeared beautifully with her Coco costume.
"Aya...you are...so...sweet, cute, beautiful, and,...and for the sake of all the prettiest and the sweetest words those may exist in this world, " he took a deep breath, "Would you please by my side, again?" he said hopefully.
"Well, thank you..I..I...aaiiii....," and she started murmuring something that couldn't be understood by anyone even by her ownself as her brother Kei gave his deadly 'two fingers eyes to eyes' sign "I-Watch-You" to Ayaza.

"Oh my, why.. should.. I bring..this stick?..It's.. quite.. heavy," Hoshiko complained while tried pulling her Minerva's stick which's stucked between the chairs.
"Wow, you really look like a girl now, and don't make a complaint since you yourself chose to take Minerva as your counterpart," Masaru smirked.
She just gave him a glare. Linzo who sat between them chuckled.
"What?" Masaru responded, "I should be the one who makes complaints! These gears, mask, even I can't move my hands properly!" he yelled pointing his mockup Chronoflare's steam arm.
"What about me then, all these blades? Any suggestion?" Linzo said in 'half-desperate half-try hard not to laugh' voice watching both Hoshiko and Masaru shifted their sit away from his Sullivan's blade wings.

Meanwhile

Hiyoku and Aika who were enjoying the beautiful of starry night, seemed did not notice both Tari and Ryu who were busy persuading Trio.
"I'm warning you Trio, one more voice was heard," Tari had not even finished her sentence yet when,
"Huuhhh," Trio sighed for the umpteenth time.
"Okay, I gave up," she said and looked at Ryu asking for a help.
"Hhmm..How about food? Let's get some there, they still have Tokiyaki I guess...What?!" he asked when he saw Tari glared at him. "At least I'm trying!" he defended.

"Beautiful, isnt it?" Aika expressed her feeling while starring the stars.
"As beautiful as you," Hiyoku said softly.
"That's so sweet, thank you," she replied with a smile.

"Ah, I love this song!" Chiho yelled happily. "Let's dance Rei!" she dragged Rei.
"Coming my sweetie...Talk to you later, Kin!" he ran besides Chiho.

"A dance, my Lady?" Kiniro offered his hand to Aniko.
"I'd love to," she answered and took Kiniro's hand.

Not far from there, Toju and Albert who were having a fun discussion with Arata and Kaito suddenly stopped his talks.
"Dancing time!" he cheerly grinned.
"With you? Are you kidding?" Arata said with a smirk, "I am still a normal guy!"
"Of course we are! We just need to step here step there, a little jump if necessary, that would be fun! C'mon Arata, Albert, Kaito!" Toju still wanted to have fun with his friends.
"Awkward!" Albert responded.
"Scary!" Kaito shivered.
"Talk about awkward, we are still behind the normal line compare to them! They even just talk about their mighty avatars, why don't they have a cardfight to approve who beat who?" Toju pointed a small group of cardfighters behind him.
"What's the difference with our little chat?" Albert asked curiously.
"At least we didn't do glaring or smirking, like they did to each other!" Toju still insisted. But unfortunately, his voice was loud enough to be heard by that group, poor Toju. He had to give them millions of apologizing before the group decided to give their forgiveness.

"So, still wanna stay here with nonsense talk?" Kyle asked while sipping his Coke.
"Well, I am not the awkward guy like that boy said, so let's dance!" Ayato responded.
"I think your colorful costume has cheered you up," Kaiko said with no expression on his face.
"Heeyyy!! Having colorful dragon doesn't make me lost my coolness!" Ayato exclaimed, he abviously had been insulted if someone talked about his Vermillion's colors stuff.
"And now you just lost your coolness," Izo said plainly.
"Alright then, What are we waiting for?" Ayato stood up, "We'll fight! Kyle you and me against these two!" he pointed at both Izo and Kaiko.
"We'll take it!" Izo stood up aswell.
"Fine with me," Kyle answered.
"No way back," Kaiko replied.
So, those four decided to have a cardfight (finally).

Briefly, in the middle of that field had been crowded by avatars with their various motions and "Watch your wings!", "Hey don't step on my tail!", "I can't see you!" such of things.

"I think I'll have a sit, no no, you both keep dancing," Hoshiko walked and got a glass of juice before had a sit. But both her friends, Linzo and Masaru followed her. They just had a Belgian folk dance.

"Hmm.. What's this song?" Hoshiko asked.
"Marvin Gaye," Linzo answered it. "Sounds cool," she said and started gulping her juice.
"You'll see," he smiled.

In another place

"You really got the healing that I want, Aniko" Kiniro took Aniko's hand and kissed it.
"Kin..." Aniko couldn't finish her words since Kiniro had kissed her lips already.

"I wish you were here," Trio whispered staring the starry night.
~~

"Let's have a dance," Tsukasa asked Harumi.
"Alright, that would be great," she replied smiling.

We got the king size to ourselves

Hoshiko choked on her juice, she coughed, "What's that?"
"A song," Masaru simply answered it.

Meanwhile

Harumi slipped on her steps and almost lost her balance.

Don't have to share with no one else
Don't keep your secrets to yourself
It's kama sutra show and tell

"I-I think I wanna have a sit, yeah a sit," Harumi told Tsukasa after a few seconds tried hard controlling her shock.
"Are you alright?" Tsukasa asked with concern.
"Yeah, I guess so," Harumi stared blankly.
"It's okay, you could have a rest. I'll bring a water for you" Tsukasa leaded her to have a sit and she thanked him.
"But we'll dance with this song, let say seven years later from now...You owe me" Tsukasa whispered into her ear. He continued walking with a smile plastered on his face.
"What? Why seven years?" Harumi still didn't get the point. But, slowly she blushed hard.

"Okay, I'm out!" Hoshiko slapped the table and stood up. Her face became red and redder. Both Masaru and Linzo laughed. But, suddenly they realised something.
"Hoshiko!!" they yelled in unison when they saw Hoshiko walked away.
"It's not good, Masaru" Linzo worried.
They ran after her.
"Wait! Hoshiko, wait!" Linzo yelled, "Don't do that, please!"
"Do what? I just want to have another drink, what's wrong with it?" she asked him.
"Oohh, that's okay then. We just think you wanna stop that song," Linzo rubbed his back neck smiling childishly.
"What is that for? We're mature enough to act wisely" she replied gracefully.
"So, why haven't you got your prince charming yet?" Masaru mock teased her.
"That's not my short target," she shrugged. "Besides," she frowned looking at them, "I could choose one of you," she simply replied.
"That's impossible," Linzo said.
"Are you kidding?" Masaru rolled his eyes.
"In condition, that would be the last option!" Hoshiko grinned and turned around.
"Unbelievable!" Linzo shocked.
"The last option, huh?" Masaru looked around and...
"Hoshiko!! Take this!!" he threw a cushion with flour on its surface and it exactly landed on Hoshiko's face. Linzo couldn't hold his laughed anymore, but soon, another cushion had landed on his face too, that's Masaru's turn to laugh.
"Whaatt?!" she felt angry and grabbed another cushion around her (they stood near a funny cushion stall).
"Do not attack someone when she's not ready yet, take this!" she threw her cushion (the big one) to Masaru. Masaru just made a little move and he's saved. But....
Instead of hitting Masaru, the cushion flew away and landed on someone.
There, stood a crimson hair boy with his broken Alter Ego Messiah's wing!
"Oohh...I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to," she apologized.
No answer yet....
Soon, they're all stupefied since his face changed color to crimson, almost as crimson as his hair!
"YOU!! HOSHIKO KITA!!...YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS!!" Yudai exclaimed in anger. (His wings just won the first position of the best wing category, anyway)
"Hoshikooo...Ruunn!!!" Masaru yelled.
"No need to ask!!" she quickly turned around ready to run.
"Use your stick!" Linzo shouted suggesting. Suddenly, Hoshiko turned her body to faced the angry Yudai.
"I won't runaway. I'll take your revenge. Bring it on, Yudai!" she said bravely, released the stick extended and prepared obtaining the assault.
"If you insist, FIRST ATTACK!!" as a professional pitcher, Yudai threw a cushion in forward direction in high speed.
"GUARD!!" Hoshiko's batting the cushion and it flew beyond Yudai's head.

"What?" Izo asked curiously while turning his head, but at that moment a cushion just hit his head.
Ayato bursted out laughing, Kaiko chuckled and Kyle stifled a laugh.

"Now, another STRIKE!!" Yudai threw his second cushion faster then before.
"PERFECT GUARD!!" Hoshiko hit it with all her might.

The second cushion flew far away...
"Home Run!!" Linzo yelled.
"Nice shot!!" Masaru laughed.
"No Waayyy!!" Yudai shouted.
"Yess!!" Hoshiko fistpumped.

....It landed exactly in the middle of Kyle's battle field. Kaiko speechless, Izo blinked along with Ayato who just jawdropped.

"ENOUGH!!" roared Kyle.

Yudai who just realised where the cushion had landed, turned his body around just to face Kyle.

"It means, WARR!!" Kyle shouted with all of the air in his lungs.
"WARR TO THE DEATH!!" rest of his tag mates yelled.

"Guuyyss......RUN FOR YOURLIFE!!!!" Yudai exclaimed and turned around to catch Linzo and Masaru who were smart enough to realise the danger. But Hoshiko still stood there, didn't hear her mates called out her name.
"Hoshiko, run!!" Linzo, Masaru and Yudai called her.
"You all go first!" she yelled back "I can't run with this skirt, yaa know! It's too short!"
They all sweatdropped.

Slowly but sure, a giant alien "Oksizz" formed, followed by Dragonic Blaster Lorde, World End and Dragonic Kaiser Vermillion. A squad of destructive avatars walked up to her. Their anger filled up the air around, she couldn't stand anymore!! Finally....

"I DON'T CARE ANYMORE!!!...KYYAAAAA!!" Hoshiko ran as fast as she could, left three of her friends behind.
"ATTACKK!!" Oksizz commanded his troop. Cushions flew away locking their targets. Screaming and 'Yess' and 'Aww' all gathering together.

"Is that Yudai? What is he doing there? Hide and Seek or what?" Chiho asked with curious.
"He never changed. Kids," Rei replied while shaking his head.
"Heeyy! That's hurt!" he rubbed his back head, "You sure are gonna pay this!" Rei shouted and ran trying to revenge everyone since he actually didn't know who had hit his head!!

"Remind me to choose Iwanagahime next year!!" Hoshiko yelled still running and tried blocking the attack with her stick.
"You could choose Mizuha too," Linzo gave his opinion.
"Or Angelica," Masaru replied.
"Or Artemis," Yudai said.
"Alright! That's a good option," they both high fived Yudai.
"Aw, aw, aw!" they rubbed their back heads since Hoshiko had slapped their heads.
"Perverts!" she almost screamed.
"Hey, at least She has arrows!!" Yudai exclaimed. Both Masaru and Linzo splitted their ways.

That night, they enjoyed their own world. The world that united them all as long as they loved and cared each other.
