In Hybrid (Browntale) culture; if a hybrid died with witnesses watching, the witnesses are the only ones who are allowed near their grave on a day the hybrids call "The Blood Moon".

Most hybrids gets visits from many people. But Ashley (Emily's mother) only gets a visit from Emily. Emily was the only witness (besides Jeremy the murder) at Ashley's murder. Guards would, well, guard the known entrances to Ashley's grave as Emily pays her visit.

This is something all hybrids respect and follow. If someone were to visit, who had not seen the hybrid's death, on the Blood Moon would be disgraceful and disrespectful.
It wouldn't matter if you came from a different AU, timeline, or world. You'd have to follow it.
