It was the last day of summer vacation and it was my turn to buy ice cream. Timeskip to when Y/N, Brayden,and Xyla meet up and eat ice cream while sitting at the top of the monkey bars at the playground at sunset. Y/N got the limited edition one time year sea-salt ice cream. Brayden got cookies and cream ice cream. Xyla got one of those character ice creams the one she got was of Bubbles from Powerpuff Girls.
"....Hey guys bet you don't know why the sun sets red," Y/N said. "You see light is made up of TONS of colors and out all those colors, red is the one that travels the farthest," Y/N said with a sad smile. Brayden chuckled. "Like I asked know-it-all," Brayden said then him, Y/N, and Xyla all chuckled. "We should probably get home.... The school year starting means bedtime returns," Xyla said seeming disappointed. "Yeah, I still can't believe summer vacation is over," Y/N said. "Didn't you mostly spend it in you're room reading manga and playing games?" Brayden asked Y/N. "Except when we drag you out," Xyla said to Y/N. "....No I've been... Working on something," Y/N said ominously. "Like?" Brayden said. "I don't wanna get your hopes up, so I won't say yet," Y/N said and took a bite of her ice cream.
