The person was Bat Wing. And here is that scean that he showed up in and what happend after that. Anyway, read that chapter and always wear your seat belt.

Mother took me to the front of Canterlot High and reminded me of what I needed to do, “Now Bat Wing, do you know who's in there tonight?”

“Yes mother.”

“Good. Now go… And I promise you will get your reward once this is all over.”

“Yes mother.”

I transformed into a blond haired boy and looked around the CHS gym where the dance was healed and caught sight of Rainbow Dash with her friends as a slow dance came on.

I walked over and taped her on the shoulder. “May I have this dance?”

Rainbow looked startled as an unrecognized expression came on her face. I never thought about how much it would hurt to be a stranger to her once again.

She looked to one of her friends and she got a smug look on her face. She said something to her and Rainbow took my hand. “Umm, sure.”

(This is the song they're dancing to. (So Close from Enchanted.))

I lead her to the dance floor, and we danced. “Have we met before?” Rainbow asked obviously having not figured it out yet.

I decided to remain oblivious for now to see if she'll get it. “Well, I know who you are. Your Rainbow Dash. The Element of Loyalty.”

“It was the hair. Wasn't it?”

“Actually, it was the beautiful sky blue skin and the magenta eyes that sparkle like diamonds.”

But she knew I was lying. “No. Seriously.”

“Oh alright. It was the beautiful rainbow colored hair. But the other aspects still were there as well.”

 We danced for a bit before she talked again. “Have we really never met? What's your name?”

“If I told you you’d know that I’m lying.”

Her face lit up, “Bat Wing!?”

I laughed, “There's no fooling you is their?”

She smiled and blushed, “Not when it comes to you my Prince.”

“And I you Princess.”

She blushed harder and rested her head against my chest as we spun slowly.  When she did I felt the thumping in my chest returned. But this time it didn't stop. She was real, right here, hugging me by her own free will. I loved this moment. And it have nothing to do with the amount of love in the room that I was trying not to feed on. It was her. She was the image of perfection on the inside and out. If this is a dream. Don't wake me up.

I was tempted to give her a soft kiss on the cheek so she would know how much she meant to me. But I also know how dangerous that would be for her, and I couldn't bear to see her suffer like that. So I held her close and whispered the lyrics of the song.

“...Now you're beside me. And look how far we've come. So far, We are, so close.”

Rainbow suddenly grabbed my right hand and put it on her waist. She put her left on my shoulder and our other hands were together. I got the message and brought her to a bit more than a slow dance.

I swung her around taking the lead as the male. This song was a waltz and I was leading her through it. Soon I felt all motion other than us stop, but I just kept leading her.

“Bat, everyone is watching us.”

“Don't pay attention to them. Right now it's just you, and me.”

Rainbow blushed but then her face got serious and the music sped up a bit and so did our dance. I didn't skip a beat as she ponied up. I spun her and brought her close. She didn't know how to waltz, but I had to practice all kinds of human dances with mother. Both the boy and girl part. So I was able to lead her in such a way it didn't look like she didn't know.

The song was ending and I mouthed for her to curtsy and I bowed. She picked up and curtseyed at the same time. The song ended and everyone clapped and to my surprise, started chanting, “Kiss him! Kiss him! Kiss him!”

I felt my cheeks grow warm and Rainbows face went completely red as she ponied down.

“Umm… Let's go outside.”

“Agreed.”

And we booked it out of their as fast as we could, Rainbow leading the way.

We sat at the front of the school behind some bushes and Rainbow broke the silence, “Well… isn't it a beautiful night.”

I smiled, “Not as beautiful as you are.”

She blushed, “Come on Bat Wing. I'm not that pretty.”

“Yes you are. I meant it when I said that your eyes sparkle like diamonds. And your skin tone is a more beautiful shade of blue than the sky on a clear summer's day.”

She blushed harder but I wasn't done, “You've always been beautiful Rainbow. And I think it's about time you learned to accept that.”

Out of nowhere, Rainbow started leaning in. At first, I didn't know what she was she was attempting. But then it hit me. “Rainbow No! Do you know what happens when you kiss a Changeling!”

“No, but I'm about to find out.”

I quickly put a hand over her mouth before she could get any closer, “No! You can't! A changeling's kiss can be life threatening. If you kiss me or vise versa I'll suck all the love out of you like a spunge. You can die!”

She paused processing what I said. “Well that won't be good.”

“No it won't. Even you being this close to me will put you in danger.”

“How…”

“Do I really need to explain it again?”

“No. I get the kissing. But I'm just sitting here. How can that be bad?”

“I… I just can't help but feed on everything that's around me. I don't want to hurt you, but it doesn't seem like that's an option.”

We sat in silence for a moment till she threw her arms around me. “Well you can't stop me.”

“What…”

“Bat Wing, your one of my best friends. They'll need to make it so I literally can not move or talk to stop me from standing up for you. I am the Element of Loyalty after all.”

I smiled and I gelt the thumping in my chest returned once again. “Thank you, M’lady.”

Her eyes went wide, “D… did you just… call me your lady!?”

I blushed and she smiled. I didn't know what to say, so I didn't say anything.

“Bat Wing… Would you mind, un-transforming?”

“What!”

“Please? I want to see the real you.”

“Rainbow, people can see.”

“We are behind a bush and there isn't a single person in sight. Why not?”

“I can't risk anything right now.”

“Please?”

“Oh no. I don't like where this is going.”

“Oh you know exactly where this is going.”

“Don't.”

“I'm gonna do it.”

“Please no.”

“I'm gonna do it.”

“Please don't.”

“I'm gonna do it.”

“I pray.”

“I'm gonna do it.”

“Anything but the baby doll eyes. You know I can't say no to the…”

She looked at me as if she was about to cry. “Pleeeeeease?” I froze and the thumping in my chest became almost unbearable. “With a large batch of my special Valentine's day chocolates on top?” (Points if you get the references.)

I just continued to stay silent till I finally gave in. “Ugh. W… why do you know me so well?”

Rainbow smiled and I took a deep breath. And started to detransform. The transformation happened in timeframe of a few seconds. When it was complete, Rainbow stared at me wide eyed, “Wow. Your…” she struggled to find the right word.

“Intimidating?” I suggested.

“Tall. You grew, what, half a foot in the past couple weeks?”

“I guess. But…”

“Ahhhhhh!!!” we heard a blood curling scream and looked up to see a girl staring right at us. I was caught.
