She once was a girl, all cute. Her eyes so blue. She lived a good life, parents treated her right. Had a little brother, they never fight. Was good in school, teachers loved her. But that all changed in back in September. A new boy from Denver walked into class. The girl smiled as he laughed. They talked and shared future plans. But that all changed when they ditch class. They've been together now, it's time to go to the next step. She asked, "You have protection?" He said "Nah, you will be fine." A few weeks later, holding a test. Said positive while tears fell onto glass. How was she supposed to tell her boyfriend, he's going to college. She was too but now it can't be true. It was the last day she hugged her boyfriend goodbye. Not knowing his baby was inside. He left won't come back till December. Now all there is to do is tell dad. She sat her parents down, and told them. They got all mad, kicked her out later. The girl crying not knowing what to do. Then she thought, "I have to save you." She got a job saved money, until she bought a place for her and her honey. Her boyfriend texted her a few times, but she ignored him, he didn't know he was a dad. She texted him one's night saying "It's over." He didn't throw a fit but was sober. A few months past and her child is born, a healthy baby boy no tears or nothing. His blue eyes shine like the ocean. Although his mom was creating another ocean. She got a new job as a stripper, not having anyone to help her. She got money for diapers, she also told her son a story every night, saying it's gonna be alright. Now the boy is three, her ex has a new girlfriend. Still not knowing he's a dad, the girl doesn't cry. She looks over at her son, and thought "He is her sun." Years later the son is now sixteen, his mom is needing help with the rent. He gets a job and gives her money saying, "I never had a dad, but that's okay. You took care of me right. That's all I need."
